The breakfast is basically the same every day, the sound of the air conditioner is relatively large, the room is very good, the house is very loose, the backyard is the swimming pool, the children are very happy.

well. The room was clean and did not contain breakfast, 30 Fiji coins for one breakfast. Two bedrooms are suitable for family outings. I will consider staying next time.

My wife and I spent 7 amazing nights here! The resort has everything, you don’t even have to leave! You can catch a 45 minute cab ride to port denaru for some adventure experiences of course, but so much to do here. Isikeli and Jim - as well everyone else at the water sports area were awesome! The 5 hr cruise with snorkel and wave runner safaris were definitely worth it. Joey over at the fish bar is great and pours some good drinks. Missi and Adam with activities also some great people to run into for a soccer game on the beach. Marcus was the friendliest person to run into everywhere at the resort throughout the day. Simon at the front lobby will help square you away with whatever you need. We had a lagoon view bure which was a home away from not wanting to go back home. Walk right into the lagoon from the beach or sit on your balcony while reading a book. All in all could not recommend this resort more. Safest part of the trip is was having to leave.

First and foremost before I get into my review we had money stolen at this property. The only time our money was not in a safe was the night we checked in when we dropped our bags off at the room to go check out the fire show. During this time a bottle of champagne was delivered to our room. $400 dollars was stollen out of my wife’s wallet. I immediately searched it on trip advisor and found multiple other reviews of money stolen at this resort. We travel around 60 days a year and have never had this issue. We generally stay in Hyatt properties but decided to give Marriott a try as we have reached Globalist status with Hyatt and are looking for another program to earn hotel status with. Due to the other reviews where money was stolen and no action being taken we did not report it. We chose to enjoy our stay and not waste time over $400. The money is not the issue the issue is a thief coming into our room. My wife stated had she been alone or on a girls trip she would have immediately checked out as she wouldn’t have felt safe. On to the review The Good Staff is very friendly (Looking past the one bad apple who stole our money) Spa Staff was great. We really enjoyed are massages. Spa prices are good for a resort. We ate at all of the restaurants and overall the food was pretty good. Really for us the highlight of the resort was the spa and the friendly staff. The Bad Our 1st night we had dinner at the Fish House. The food was great but when I used the restroom there was a kitchen worker in there. He turned the water on dipped his hands in and walked out. I had already ate my food or else I would have left it. Throughout our stay I witnessed multiple staff not wash their hands. This is a pet peeve of mine and I always watch for it. I understand other countries are not as strict on hygiene but the hotel needs to educate their staff better. I have traveled to many countries and have never witnessed such bad hand washing behavior at a resort. Marriott please educate your staff. You would think with a guest at one of the many sinks washing their hands they would not walk right past them and out the door. Overall this is one of the many places we have decided to stay on our honeymoon and we still enjoyed our time here. We chose to not let stolen money ruin our stay. That being said I would not recommend this resort due to its history of stolen money. If not for the theft and lack of proper hand washing I would have rated this resort 3.5/5 The friendly staff and the spa are its strong points. Respectfully, Tony

Myself and the family stayed at the Intercontinental late May 2023 and had a lovely time. The resort and grounds are in great condition and well maintained. We had a beach view room on the ground level which was wonderful as it came with a well sized outdoor patio. The beach is amazing, one of the best I have seen at Fiji, there was the option for some waves at one end of the resort while at the other end was much calmer and shallow for a long way which was great for a 5 year old to play around in. The pools were a bit cold but that was great as meant more time in the ocean. The day beds were great and could generally one someone along the beach. Food was not bad and of course the staff were amazingly friendly again.

Faultless, incredible hotel with absolutely stunning rooms, facilities, top location (brilliant beach and snorkelling) & restaurants, beautiful staff who were especially amazing with the kids!! Service was impeccable, everyone went above and beyond! Loved the outdoor baths! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

This hotel is located in a place with beautiful mountains and clear waters. On the beach facing the west, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. The service of the hotel is very good. The service staff does the cleaning very carefully. It is clean and tidy everywhere. It is very comfortable, you can swim by the sea or in the hotel pool, it is a good place for vacation.

The health is good, but the service is really average. There were no slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and bathrobes in the room. The waiter only dragged the floor to clean the room. He did not make beds or give free mineral water. I have paid the full price when I booked the hotel, and I have to charge it again when I check out ... Also, the price is really high!

The Terraces Just returned again to this wonderful resort with my 2 friends. I can highly recommend this accomodation in either a 1 brm or 2 brm apartment. The apartments are very clean & spacious with all the facilities you need with a kitchen & laundry, with lovely views of either garden or pool & golf course from 1 or 2 of the balconies in the 2 brm apartment. The pool & gardens are highly maintained with plenty of pool loungers. The convenience to Port Denarau is just 5 mins walk away to all the bars & restaurants plus a fully stocked mini mart. All the staff at The Terraces are very friendly & helpful. I’m looking forward to my return again in November.

We had an overnight stay as our flight from Sydney was late in the afternoon and our transfer to Mana Island was the next morning. From the outside looking in, you think wow. Nice. Checkin was smooth and staff friendly. But that’s it for the niceties. After checkin…. Crickets! We had to drag our own luggage to our rooms. We are a family of 5 and when your travelling for 2 weeks there is a lot of luggage. Not to mention that our room was $500 Aus for the night. And with no lift I was cranky, especially that they had us on the second floor. The room was also two stories, old and tired. The fans and air con were from the 90s. I know this is petty but each of the air cons had a flashing blue light whilst operating. Ok in the daylight but at night and in the dark it’s like the police are on your doorstep with a warrant! The room is fine for a night and in a great location opposite Port Denarau but most definitely not at $500 Aus per night.

Usaia is the best employee here. His unbelievable service made my honeymoon perfect and fantastic. He recommended and taught me lots of information here in Sheraton and Fiji. Actually, we were only one Asian couple, so everything was too new for us, but bying talking with Usaia, he made us feel relaxed and better. I highly recommend Sheraton because of Usaia and his service. Thank you, Usaia. I will never forget you and your kindness

I have left 5 stars for the service as cleaning , buffet , wet cafe staff all we’re exceptional! We did not have a good experience with tatavu grill & bar . Firstly they brought fries with chilli for toddler , the second time they totally burnt kids meat and we waited for the glass of wine for over 40 min ! Hotel is very clean , There is a bus going to town every 15 min . The kids club is not as strong as we were hoping for , but still there is entertainment for kids as well. Overall , we would recommend the hotel.

Reviews From Real Travelers
Overall a poor experience. Customer service. Most of the staff are nice and friendly and have the bula spirit, however our stay was tainted by some unfriendly staff at the main restaurant by the pool, which some of the staff don’t want to help providing baby chair and just forgot about the requests after all. The restaurant staff just simply looks very unhappy or tired for some reasons. We have met some very friendly face and lovely staff, but it was unfortunate the restaurant customer service is consistently horrible. Front desk staff shows don’t show the same level of hospitality as to other hotels we stay in Fiji. Room: It’s showing it’s aged but the view is fantastic and room is well equipped and spacious, it suits well for family with a plan to cook. We notified the staff that two of the pendant lights aren’t working on day one. Yet nothing is fixed until check out. Food: We try buffet breakfast and dinners at the main restaurant and also take away from the red Buddha restaurant. Breakfast is pretty standard and average considering it’s Hilton, we stay at many Hilton hotels before, the food is one of the worst experience we had, in particular the buffet dinner, choices are very limited, it’s pretty much just a corner of food , pretty subpar comparing to Sofitel or Sheraton. Overall. With similar price it is hard to recommend this hotel to family especially with kids, the staff seems to have too much trouble to handle the demand of young kids and didn’t stand up to the great Hilton branding which is a bit of a shame. Rooms got beautiful view, foods aren’t great. The only bright spot would be the spacious hotel room.

We had a great time at the Hilton Denarau Island. The staff were the biggest highlight! They were so friendly and made us feel very special, especially my two year old son who was very popular with the team! A big shout out to Waqa, Eroni and Tanica who were his biggest fans! There were many more amazing staff but I didn’t get everyone’s names unfortunately! The hotel itself is feeling a little dated after covid but the pools are awesome, the restaurants are delish. We didn’t get to try the kids club as it was a short stay. Would def go back.

The overall service is very good. The brand new hotel has just opened a week ago. Although not all restaurants are open, the service is great. Breakfast is a continental buffet. Eggs Benedict is good. During the day we went shopping downtown and ordered a pick-up service from the hotel's tour manager. The tour guides Vicky (day 1) and Sam (day 2) both did a great job not only picking us up from point to point but showing us around the city and giving us great tips while we were shopping. Even though we were a little late, they waited patiently for us. Overall, the stay at the Crowne Plaza, I would say, was not up to five star standards as not all restaurants were open. However, I would give them six stars for their service and sense of service. Looking forward to visiting again. We have booked Crowne Plaza Nadi Bay Resort knowing it’s still at phased opening. However based on website or during pre-communications we had, they have not elaborate “phased” opening and we have only witnessed what it looked like once checked in. Long story short hotel Is absolutely not ready to welcome or accommodate guests. Lots of constructions going on 24/7 and amenities at bare minimum. 1. As you walk in first you see is a building construction with scaffolding. 2. Lobby bathrooms are somewhat still under construction and pool bathrooms are not yet ready. 3. Half of the pool is still under construction 4. Beach is not yet even developed and dirty 5. Only one type of rooms are available, although website states otherwise. 6. Spa is being operated inside a room. 7. We had an excursion but the bus driver did not know the location to drop us off past mid night which concerns of our safety. May need signs and directions displayed at junctions for better awareness. 8. Only one restaurant and a bar is available, all other restaurants, pool bar are still under construction. 9. in room amenities are at bare minimum, mini bars are not available. Only positives are the wonderful staff who are tirelessly trying every moment to make it up for the guests. They are very genuine and super friendly at every interaction. Duty Manager Sandrit leading from the front to make it work under the circumstances. He had understood our concerns, offered alternative options, upgraded to a better view and compensated for our spa treatments which shows they are trying to make it work. Restaurant staffs are all lovely, Joji was the best! In conclusion, we believe this resort has a huge potential to become the best Hotel on the island ONCE it completed but as of now it’s no way near that landmark. They need to be absolutely transparent on what’s on offer and honest with their guests who are taking a chance to book the hotel at this point.
