"We cannot fault anything about the holiday we had in the Astir Odysseus. We travelled late September (27th think) and stayed for two weeks, so we knew the holiday season was coming to an end. We booked a family room through Tui as this was the only accomdation options available at the time we booked. Though only two of us, the extra space the family room gave us was helpful. If its not clear from pictures, as you enter the room, there is a sofa bed on the right which would easily be ample for an young adult or children. It also has its on air con in this section and there is doors that seperate this section from the main bedroom. The wardrobe was easily enough for two, so easily stretch to three. The main bedroom is large with a sofa and ours lead onto a balcony that looked over the main pool near the hotel. We stayed in room 222. Would recommend this to anyone. The room was great, though had a few occassion to get maintennance support for the air con but was fixed in hours of us raising with reception. Room was cleaned spotlessley every day with the beds made. Couldn't ask for more. We primarily stayed around the main pool and I guess possibly being the time of year but it was so nice not having to get up at crack of dawn to save a sun bed. We would just leisurely sure beds after breakfast nearly every day after 10 am. Relaxing. And even more relaxing, downloaded the app and was able to order drinks to your sun bed. We found at best it took upto 5 mins or less to arrive. Excellent. We booked with All inclusive, so a good range of cocktails were available and made from scratch in the main bar (think beach bar may have had pre-made cocktails but still pretty good). Local beer on tap was ok but i preferred the local bottle beer, still included but less gassy. Also they had gluten free beer, which I preferred. Stripped them dry within a few days. But bless them, restoked within a day or so. Onto that, bar staff were brilliant, attentive and got to know a few of them (Stellios and a one I name Roy Keane) who were great to have conversations and always genuinly happy to serve. And if you want something different they have a range of craft beers and cocktails no on the all inclusive list you could buy. Yes, they were 5-7 Euros a go but reasonable if you leave them as treats. Food was excellent. So much choice and every day something different if you dared to try, though there was regular dishes (pizza, pasta, chips) and vast ranges of salads. They had a great display of olive oils - over 25 bottle or so, which was great to try with various breads. And the deserts, we've been to a number of greek islands and hotels, and the majority serve what we regard as puff and fluff - they look nice but no substance. Astir Odysseus you have broken the mould. Chocolate that tastes like chocolate, patisseries with substance. Brilliant. You could choose to eat inside but lots of outside options which we preferred and meant it didn't feel like canteen like ot"
"We arrived @ 2.30am however we were checked in & taken to our room by golf cart & in bed by 2.45. We stayed in a maisonette with a shared pool with next door, it was spotless, comfy & spacious. We had 2 minibars, one downstairs & one upstairs which we’re replenished daily. The food & choice was awesome, something for everyone & different every day. Although it’s a help yourself buffet we were never queuing too long & it’s a great touch that your drinks are served by waiter/waitresses therefore reducing people traffic in the main restaurant getting up for drinks. The staff were always attentive & polite. The BBQ restaurant at lunchtime was great with plenty of choice. On a evening we always used the main bar & enjoyed the quality of drinks & the service was excellent ( nice touch with the peanuts ). The evening entertainment was ok. The disco down at the beach bar was good. We’ve stayed at quite a few 4/5 star all inclusive hotels but this stood out as the best, so much so we have booked to go back in 2020 "
"Having been moved to this hotel, as our original booked hotel decided at 2 weeks notice to close early!, we were concerned about what to expect. On arrival any concerns we had dissapeared. We stayed for 1 week to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday. Our rooms had fantastic panoramic sea views, also overlooking the huge pool, which was steps away from the beach. The whole hotel was immaculately clean and had a modern feel throughout. Meal times were a feast, with so much choice of food from breakfast to dinner, of a very high standard. The hotel is in a quiet location, but there is plenty to do within the hotel. There are fantastic walks along the beach for several kms in both directions. What really stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of all of the staff, who ensured our special holiday was flawless and one to always remember. A real 5 star experience, with a week of complete sun & 27 degrees just to top it off!"

"We had a holiday with TC cancelled on Monday, so we booked a new holiday here lucky to get one with what was happening. It is HORRENDOUS. especially if you are English you are treated so differently. Our room was a disgrace you would have to pay me to sleep in it, not to mention luke warm shower water and dirty bath towels. All inclusive but you can't have any spirits only beer soft drinks or coffes, beach bar closes 30th yet we are here until the 6th October and was never told. The hotel needs severely updating everything is broken or ruined. Reception is lovely and the views are amazing. The tables, carpets, floors, rooms, sliding doors are falling apart. We went down for lunch 15 minutes before it closed in the restaurant we were told to go and eat by the pool and we can't eat in the restaurant even thought they were lots of other people eating in their. Soft drinks are watered down, the only good thing to drink is the beer. I read the reviews after I booked hoping it was better than I read and what I read was true. Our holiday was totally ruined from the moment we were given our room key. I asked to see another room and the one we were shown was even worse it was a matress on the floor, I had worked so hard to save up and go on holiday after a long 10 months at work and I just wanted to fly home, both of us. The beach is probably the best place to go, and to stay their for as long as possible. Beach food snacks same everyday burgers and chips, table service for pretty much everyone around us apart from us we were told no we have to go and get it and sit on the table and chairs but was taking food on trays over to other ethnicities. Staff are rude, they don't want to know if your not paying for anything. For a 5 star hotel which is only for its facilities I wouldn't even give it 1. We then came down for breakfast on the second morning at 20 to 10. Breakfast finishes at 10. We only wanted toast and an omelette and we were told no. I went to the hotel manager in the office behind the front desk to express my concerns about being English as there was other cultures still eating breakfast at half past 10 and numerous occasions we had been singled out for our ethnicity. I was basically told to go away. Building site next to the beach so when your relaxing all you can hear is diggers. Cat sh*T in the hallway stairs. Was there for a full day not cleaned properly still a stain on the carpet. We went down into the strip of restaurants and bars every evening for breakfast and dinner we did not enter the hotel restaurant again after 2 days even though we had paid all inclusive we spent money out everyday on drinks and food, down on this strip we were treated so nice! Couldn't thank you enough for being there, it felt like a holiday in those few hours. There's even a free bus that goes down the big hill from the hotel to these places and we felt we couldn't get on it so we walked every night and every lun"
"We checked in about 7pm last night without a prior booking. We had no chance to check previous reviews about the place. We paid well for supposedly a high class room (8806) overlooking the pool. The room is spacious but stank of mould throughout. There was a doona without covers and no bed sheets. One plain cheap pillow each. One bath towel. I was told they could not provide another towel until the next day. No internet in the rooms - can you believe this in this day and age. Poor Hygeine throughout the bathroom, living areas and especially dining room area. Cutlery, tables just poorly cleaned. Mish mash of food some poorly cooked. Staff appeared untrained and lacking direction. During dinner we ordered 2 gin n tonics. They were delivered to us in disposable paper cups and very little gin. My wife and I are Turkish speaking from Australia. I have now also read the terrible reviews also written by previous recent visitors. I have chosen to write this review in English to tell the wider tourist population as well. This morning there was an almighty yelling match between unhappy clients and reception desk. We paid 1000 TL for one night and believe we have been effectively ripped off. I don’t want the management to respond in their usual nonesense style as with all previous reviews. I am demanding my money back. They have my contact and credit card details. That will be the test of their honour and professionalism. We’ll see. Our rating for this hotel is -10. We have been driving around Europe for 6 weeks and have visited 20 countries and stayed at 25 hotels. This has been by far the worst experience. Ahmet & Vesna, Melbourne Australia"
"Got Moved here on 5th of our 14 day holiday as previous hotel worst than this one believe it or not bad move only good Think was the view if you got passed the demolition team there for 9 days and 6 days they banged drilled ripped things up welded you name it they done it No health n safety here it’s getting refurbed food was freezing cold joke disgusting only thing was they had drink for first 6 days then started running out replaced with crap gin even barman was embarrassed he took the drink off us when we questioned it but they got good stuff in 8/9 day but joke to don’t cater for British people at all "

"Hotel location is good to find, there is a small brother at the door to help with parking, luggage, etc., but the hotel decoration style is general, but the room is still very good, there is an open-air balcony, very close to the beach, watching is a big swimming pool . The room is very soundproof and there is no loud noise. However, the hotel's other services are more general, Ctrip reservations do not include breakfast, compared to the hotel price, the price is average, but the overall environmental sanitation is very good."
"The hotel is very new, with advanced facilities, simple and stylish. The restaurant, pool, hammam are amazing, and the private beach is beautiful and quiet. All in all, this is an exquisite resort hotel of moderate size, suitable for couples. It's just far from the town of Bodrum, 30 minutes by car."
"Yes, there is no Chinese grandfather aunt on the beach, a warm and romantic place."

"We were dreaming of going to Casa Cook (now OKU hotels) for so long but unfortunately we were pretty disappointed by the experience. First impression was very good. Friendly & helpful reception staff, gorgeous location and architecture/design. Same for the rooms. The beach is beautiful and the whole vibe is super relaxing. However little by little the flaws were showing and by day 4 (when we left) we could conclude we had a good stay, but wouldn’t come back nor recommend it to other people and here’s why: First of all I was expecting a middle size boutique like hotel, but OKU Kos is actually a resort size hotel. No offence to the hotel for this, I misinterpreted the website gallery and my preference is more for smaller hotels but this is personal. We stayed for 3 nights - 4 days and our room did not get cleaned once. I don’t need fresh linen every day but at least a quick clean and making up the bed is a bare minimum for this price (we had the junior suite). Also there was a septic smell passing by now and then and everything was super humid and smelled humid. We were given only 1l of complimentary water each day, and water in the restaurant was 4,50 euros the bottle. NOT OK. The restaurant was very big and cafeteria like, the tables are not beautifully set as the pictures in the gallery, you just receive a napkin with cutlery once you’re seated, and it is super expensive. The staff in the restaurant and bar were not very professional, lacked a proper maitre d’, their uniforms were very sloppy, and all due respect for the hassle of wearing mouth masks but PLEASE if you’re going to wear them, wear them the right way and not with your nose sticking out (90% of them 90% of the time). But this would be easily forgotten if they would be friendly, and although some of them were very friendly and helpful, a lot were NOT! This may have been the biggest bummer of our trip. I spent a lot of time trying to catch their attention to order something, and once I did, they were uninterested or even arrogant. When I spilled my glass of wine (yes I’m clumsy), no one of the staff came to help or clean the table, they just passed by. We eventually cleaned it ourselves with our napkins, the floor was left stained… Oh and also, the music in the lounge area and restaurant for me is not necessary the whole day long. Some times it was really nice, but mostly it was just disturbing the chil & relaxed vibe. So I would say for OKU Kos yes… but no."
"We came him a few years ago when it was casa cook and were worried it might have changed but it was still just as gorgeous as we remembered. It literally is a little place to escape to. It’s slightly away from the town so be prepared to spend €25 into town and €25 back but the hotel can arrange car hire or beach buggies if you want to explore. The facilities are simply stunning and the beach is beautiful. Food was a lot better than when it was casa cook too - there were more options and the wines we had were really nice too. We did have one or two issues with the room when we arrived which were resolved fairly quickly - the buttons for the air conditioning were missing so engineering had to fix this and the lamp was also broken. Regardless though, the team were quick to assist and fix the problem. The staff are all really lovely - especially the guest relations girl! One thing I will say is the music by the pool was the same playlist on repeat for a week which drove us mad - we new all the lyrics by the end of the holiday - definitely need to switch up the playlist!! Really enjoyed the dj on Saturday night though! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to return! "
"This Hotel is amazing! I stayed 4 nights by myself and then the last 4 nights my friend came. We even got an upgrade. I initially booked 4 nights and they happily extended for me even though they were saying fully booked nearly online. All of the staff are genuinely lovely. From the moment you arrive to depart, they are very welcoming and only want to make your stay an amazing one! The breakfast every morning is very good. It would have been nice to maybe see some more vegan/gluten free options. They can arrange excursions for you although I didn’t do any. They have a shop which sells some lovely clothes, healthy wellbeing products. It would be great if they sold amenities like a travel adaptor. My friend forgot hers when I left and the taxi in total cost $45 for her to go to the shop. I would 100% recommend hiring a car out there as apparently there is only one taxi company on the island and just from the airport to hotel, for a 15 min journey it costs $25 euros. It depends if you want to stay in the hotel but I went out for dinner and went to other beaches. I hired from Exer GR from a lovely lady called Katerina. All in all, there is nothing to fault."

"My husband and I visited the island of Kos and for half our time on the island, we resided at White Pearls - it was the most idillic, relaxing and luxurious experience and on reflection, we both agreed staying at White Pearls for the entire trip would have been our preference! Nestled behind the beautiful turquoise gates is a beautiful, romantic, relaxing sanctuary. White Pearls is able to effortlessly create a family atmosphere, where you are treated as the no.1 guest in their home, without being intrusive - the hospitality balance is pure perfection. If you’re looking for fabulous local food and wine, coupled with outstanding service, in a chic, luxurious setting; then this is the hotel for you! I would like to thank all the staff at White Pearls for their outstanding service and making my trip pure perfection, plus being adult only created the most perfect atmosphere, where you will never want to leave! I made the initial booking in January and even then, Kallia reached out and offered to help with transfers and anything further we required in advance of our trip. Kallia is the heart of White Pearls - she adopts multiple roles, from host, friend, problem solver, fairy god mother, the list goes on... she is an asset and makes every guest feel so, so special - Thank you Kallia! Our Villa (Telendos Suite) was absolutely stunning and huge! The bed was so sumptuous and within the villa, there were so many beautiful areas for reading, applying make up, relaxing - it was more like an apartment and had everything you could wish for! I don’t want to give away some of their special surprises, but if you are looking for somewhere to completely unwind, be treated like royalty and in the most chic setting, then this is the place for you! Thank you again White Pearls and we look forward to visiting you again soon! Lucy xx"
"The + points Staff service/care was outstanding and lovely apartments/grounds. Best rooms ever in Greece. The - points As we were half board menu choice got very samey after a week. Need more choice and specials. Bit of road noise at front of grounds. It wasn't as peaceful as I had hoped. Covered eating area open air near bar, not sure what would happen in heavy rain or wind. Endless muzak playing all day. Never off. As the pool area is only small they will alienate paying customers if too many people into the grounds for food or drinks and allow them to use the pool. If they allowed weddings it would be invaded! We also saw what I assume must have been muslim visitors (not staying in rooms) swimming in the pool in clothes. Really? Swimming in clothes!. Reiterate what another reviewer has said below: "Unfortunaly there are a lot of outside guests during daytime, who are using the facilities (sunbeds, pool towels, pool, toilettes) just for a price of some drinks. As a paying guest (220€ per room/night) I expect more privacy and more rules for outside guests. We booked this small hotel with the expectation that they take worth on privacy. Than again we do understand the philosophy of the hotel/Kos locals that they want to serve all guests as good as they can. In my opinion the hotel needs to find a solution for this „situation“.""
"We have visited white pearls for the last couple of years but as walk in guests for the day( as one reviewer has said he doesn’t agree with ) anyway we love spending the day here the food is lovely the staff are lovely the atmosphere is so chilled , Great music and the place is wonderful we have always had food and drinks whilst spending the day here and I think it is good for the hotels to have an open door policy we love visiting many different hotels restaurants whilst we visit kos and this year was our 10th year and will be bak again next year and will spend a couple of our days at white pearls we cycle down from the Aegean houses .. keep up the good work please don’t change your open door policy !!!!! "We really enjoyed staying at the Ramada Resort in Bodrum-Bitez. The location was ideal for us, as the hotel is sitting on top of a hill and is removed from the busy (beach club etc.) areas in Bitez or Gümbet. Still it is close to any activity you might want to do on the whole peninsula and there are restaurants and shops in walking distance just down the hill. Given its location, the hotel has amazing views from the pool areas and most, if not all, of the rooms. The property has also been kept in very good shape and appears still new in many places. We thought it was worth it to upgrade to at least a junior suite to have a balcony to step out on, as many other rooms do not come with a real balcony (note that some booking websites will confuse balcony and "french balcony"). The pool area had a lot of sunbeds and most of the time it was no issue to find some shade as well. On some days, they seemed to accidentally have turned up the music a little loud even for local standards - maybe try speaking to the manager if this happens when you are there; I think they would listen to such comments. We also enjoyed the breakfast setup, which had what you would normally expect for a Turkish Kahvalti and some additional options. The only thing we missed were some additional Turkish staples like Haydari, Muhammara or Hummus (which I guess maybe only we would eat for breakfast..). There was always enough Simit! We would definitely return for a future stay. Some comments regarding the current hygiene measures: - We felt very stafe staying at the hotel and given how far tables, sunbeds etc. were spread out and protection measures for the staff, we never felt that there was any real risk of infection. - Hand sanitizers provided and staff wearing masks; temperature checks for guests at check-in. - At the breakfast, staff would plate the items for you that you select from a buffet (so it is still a buffet, just with an "assistant" - better solution than e.g. a la carte breakfast. We liked this a lot.) - We were among the first batch of travelers that required a mandatory PCR test result in order to board our flight home. When our test results didn't come in during the time frame we expected, the reception (thank you Cem!) was able to call the hospital laboratory department and check on the progress of testing with them. It helped us to confirm that everything was on track and we just had to wait a little longer than the testing center originally said. To provide even more confidence for foreign travelers, we would think it would be good to...: - ask guests to wear a mask at the breakfast buffet. Even though guests are not touching the food, some guests still come very close to it and do not seem to think about keeping a distance. - inform what would happen in case of a positive PCR test result (can the hotel offer quarantine isolation rooms, at which rate?, any other support, ...) as it is never impossible that you receive this result. Rega"
"This hotel is located in an excellent elevated position overlooking Turkish coastline and the Greek Island of Kos. The hotel provides an excellent retreat to enjoy relaxing by the large pool whilst taking in the views. The common areas are all spotlessly clean in particular the pool area, reception and cactus bar. Staff were very helpful, polite and accommodating. The main Bodrum central marina ( believe another one further away) was just a £3 taxi ride away and was a gateway to a plethora of great restaurants, bars, shopping and the opportunity to book excursions in particular boat trips. The hotel is more geared for couples / adults. Very young families would also enjoy but older families would more likely prefer larger hotels with more activities. Breakfast provided a good selection catering for all tastes and was very COVID aware. The Club restaurant provides excellent food and views but would be further improved by the very friendly staff being a little more service focussed. The standard rooms are comfortable and clean, with a great size shower with good water pressure. Whilst we were there for 10 nights we spent a lot of time around the pool and did not have to scramble to get sun beds and brollies. The pool area during the day plays some really catchy non intrusive background music which added to our enjoyment. The spa treatments were excellent and very good value but seemingly no beauty treatments were available. Overall an excellent stay and would highly recommend. "
"Been to a couple of different Ramada hotel in turkey, this was by far lived to expectation. Staff were very friendly and spoke enough English to communicate. Rooms and gym spotless. Views breath taking. My niece and I went, we ate breakfast, went to gym, sauna and steam room and had massage. For us it was just the right place to and and recharge ourselves... staff were very accommodating too. Could not have asked for anything more💞💞"
