"My husband and I have stayed at The Lodge and Club several times over the last 7 years and have never been disappointed. This trip, we stayed in one of the suites and loved it. I had knee surgery 5 months ago and am still recovering. They put us in a room close to the lobby, bar, restaurant.....so I wouldn’t have so far to walk, and we had easy elevator access as stairs are still a bit tricky. Our room was spacious and beyond comfortable. The room had a fireplace which came in handy as it was a little chilly last week. The best part ever about any room at The Lodge is the cozy window seat and the ability to actually open your window and listen to the sound of the surf all day/night long. The staff at The Lodge are first rate and provide a great experience for their guests. Shout out to Buddy, Mike, and Sidney. We look forward to seeing you again in 3 weeks!"
"Had the pleasure of staying one night at the lodge in an upper floor, corner room facing the beach. Amazing room with fireplace, window seat overlooking balcony and beach, huge bathroom. Beach is wide and beautiful. Wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities the resort has to offer, but we will be back!"
"Everything about this resort is amazing. Stayed over Thanksgiving. Food was excellent. The quality of service was wonderful. The room we had was near the Ocean and had a fireplace for the cool nights.Beautful.Hope to make this a yearly tradition! Have traveled a lot and hard for us to think of a better resort!"

"I recently returned from a night at this hotel. My husband and I were in town to attend a concert, and I wanted him to have an enjoyable overnight stay. I was a guest at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club in 2018 and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case on this trip. When we arrived, we noticed that a lot of construction was taking place on the golf course and along other areas of the property. Upon checking in, I commented on the construction and requested to be assigned to a room away from it. I was informed that my room was overlooking the lagoon so I would not be near the construction. However, when my husband and I drove over to our room, much to our dismay, we looked out from our balcony and observed and heard bulldozers and construction actively taking place behind our room. Due to the noise, we were unable to use our balcony. While I should have taken the time to have returned to the reception area and requested to be relocated to another building, I thought it would not be that bad considering that we were only staying one night. We left the room and didn't return until late that evening. The following morning, I was awakened by a loud repeated beeping noise before 8 a.m. I asked my husband if an alarm clock was going off in in a nearby room. He told me that he had been awakened by the same horrid beeping noise. However, he informed me that it was not coming from a clock in an adjacent room. He explained that the beeping was caused by construction equipment backing up. Sure enough, I looked outside and noticed a bulldozer in operation. When I called the registration desk, I received an apology for the early morning noise and was told the hotel would normally move me to a different building, but they could not do so since I was checking out that day. She later called back and said the manager would deduct the resort fee(roughly $30) from my bill. While this was appreciated, it certainly didn't make up for the rude wakeup call. When I'm a guest at a hotel, especially one rated as highly as the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, my goals are to receive a decent night of sleep and to relax. Unfortunately, the construction hampered my ability to accomplish either objective."
"We booked this at the very last minute and as a splurge while visiting the area. We had been checking out of a hotel in Saint Augustine and called ahead. The gentleman who booked our reservation said the room was ready and we could come at any time. Since we were checking out at 11 and check-in was not till 4 this was such a huge bonus to us to be able to get in early. When we got there the place was fabulous....a bit ritzy for us but we loved it. Wonderful service and friendliness from all staff. The beach was gorgeous. We only ate at the Beach (shack?) and the Tavern but all food was good. Our room at the Inn was great(except for the shower curtain problems) and loved that we had a wonderful courtyard off our room to go outside as well as balcony with view of the water. Would absolutely come back."
"Stayed three nights for a work seminar. Will definitely return for a stay with my wife. Top notch service. Superb staff. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort all three nights. Dodd was excellent and service was spot on. Rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend and will definitely return. "

"The back door is the beach, breakfast is good, suitable for family and children, the room balcony is straight to the beach, you can watch the sunrise in bed, refrigerator and microwave! When I was surfing, I slammed back to see a few shark's backs, scared me out of my mouth, dragged my child and ran to the shore, shouting shark sharks in my mouth... The sound was drowned in the waves, and the child thought that the joke was still happily. At that time, my heart was desperate, I was thinking about how the sharks bite me when I should attack in the opposite direction. I hit the fist or hit the mouth and found that everyone didn’t make a big move. It turned out to be a dolphin, and there is no culture to kill people."

"I arrived at the hotel and the first person I was in contact with was extremely nice and helpful... I feel awful that I can’t remember his name but he was very outgoing and he was working that shift with the manager Carole. Both Carole and the younger gentleman were extremely helpful at my check in. I was looking for a good rate as I had not expected to stay at a hotel that day. I needed somewhere safe and with a lot of people. The rooms were extremely clean, the ocean view is amazing! If you sit at your desk to work you can open your balcony door and even if you don’t have time to look at the ocean you can hear the waterfall at the pool downstairs as well as the ocean outside! I was able to enjoy the stay and be productive! My room was stocked with all the things that I needed. I slept wonderful! The next morning I called to the main desk and told them I wanted to stay another night. Jason Broughton was the employee that answered the phone. He told me I would have to get a new key because mine would not work after 11am. He was extremely helpful, kind, and professional. I went down for breakfast and the breakfast area was also extremely clean, there was an attendant standing waiting to clean which makes a huge deal with everything going on with the coronavirus. Her name was Angelina, she was wiping down counters and making sure not to touch anything and was very courteous and kind as well as professional. A man that did not work at the hotel kind of creeped me out a little bit and made me feel unsafe. At that time I decided I would not stay another night. I still had to go upstairs and get my keys and my stuff but I did not want to go up there alone. Two gentlemen that work for this hotel named Tony Davis and Santiago Camacho were on floor 7 and I asked them if they could please walk me to my room because a man there creeped me out. They walked me to my room, stood in the door and waited for me to gather my things. They told me no hurry and were kind, and professional. Tony then escorted me as my body guard to the counter to check out where I met the manager and Jason. I told them I changed my mind on staying another night. Brandy seemed concerned and Jason asked if Everything was ok with the stay? I looked at Brandy and Jason and said “ you all did not do anything wrong. They thanked me for my visit and even gave me a bottle of water for the road! Excellent service!!! Tony then walked me to my car. This hotel is the BEST! Definitely recommend staying here! -Candice Jones iBelieve community Fellowship “Through Jesus you find God=Love Not hate, so if you must... re-evaluate” John 3:16-3:17"
"Had a great stay at Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room looked and felt clean. With one of nicest sand beaches, very few rocks, seaweed or broken shells. As for the cons which aren’t many. Several days towel replacement was none existent. But a phone call quickly cured this. We had a king room with a sofa, the sofa was right up against the air conditioner. Keeping the room comfortable made the air conditioning continuously run. Sitting on the couch nearest the air conditioner was freezing. I couldn’t see sleeping on that side of the pull out. I could only give a 50/50 for their breakfast. Wasn’t great but also not horrible. Staff at breakfast was exceptional. Of course Florida has lifted mask mandates but quickly found that counties and cities had mandates. This hotel required masks in public indoor spaces at the time of my visit. But go down the road away s you’ll see no mandates can get confusing. Any way, great job Hampton Inn. We’ll be back."
"This Hampton has a wonderful pool/hot tub and an indoor and a tiki bar. It's orientation means ocean or partial view from most rooms. The staff was excellent, pleasant, present and motivated to help. A shout out to Carole who helped in so many ways including our bottom line by identify a discount we had missed. The coffee was always on and quite good. Breakfast about average, but the smoothies are nice. We have stayed twice and found this hotel a nice surprise."

"We have stayed at this facility several times. Unfortunately, we had to stay here during the COV-19 crisis. On arrival we were greeted by a Chuck at the front desk. (I think he’s been at the hotel as long as it’s been open 😃) Chuck’s greeting was very warm and very professional, as usual. The check in process was very efficient and he explained all the details of the hotel during the crisis. He explained how the hotel was cleaning the rooms. He further explained they were only booking rooms that had been vacated for three days. A very warm professional team member.! The room was very clean and “smelled” good. The Bistro was serving breakfast from 0700-1000 am and 5:00-8:00 pm, otherwise they were closed. They only offered room service or takeout. We ordered our dinner and breakfast and enjoyed them on our “lanai”. The wait staff was very friendly and warm. The food was excellent! We obviously didn’t like being at the hotel during the crisis, However, the warm and extremely friendly staff made our visit very comfortable. "
"This hotel is perfect for a stay at Mayo. It is right across the parking lot! Rooms have been recently renovated and are very nice! There is a wonderful restaurant in the lobby that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (additional cost). The food and service are excellent. You really don’t need to leave the hotel. The rates are high but the location is the reason and it it the only hotel across from the clinic. We had a lower rate as we stayed 7 nights"
"My husband is a patient at Mayo Clinic therefore we stay here because of the convenience. Everyone is very friendly, the rooms are nice, you can walk to many of the buildings and they have a shuttle to drop you off and pick you up. I didn’t give a 5 star because of the price. They are more money than other places in the area. I assume they charge more because if the location. Our room was around $380 per night."

"I stayed here for work, which means ultimately I wasn't paying the bill, and I didn't choose where I was staying. Negatives: When I first checked in literally HALF of the lights in my room were broken so I had to ask for the bulbs to be replaced (and to be fair, they did replace all but one the same day - mysteriously they never fixed the other). Rooms are dated. The wifi is terrible. My room key demagnetised at least 4 times, some of my colleagues had the same issue and I saw at least one other guest asking for their key to be reset, but when I asked for a new card, instead of just resetting it, the receptionist very bluntly implied that it was my fault, and not the key card. Some of my colleagues mentioned that their rooms were a bit dirty, bathtubs were stained etc. They replaced the soap every single day - that's wasteful as a solo traveller I'm more than happy to use my own bar of soap again the next day. Eating breakfast off a paper plate with plastic cutlery and drinking out of a plastic cup isn't a great experience in a hotel. Positives: My room was clean. The coffee in the room was good. Breakfast was included and was pretty good with a decent selection including make-your-own waffles. The gym was fine (I only used the treadmill). There's a smalll "market" or shop in reception so you can grab a beer, snack etc and the selection there was pretty good. The bed was comfortable. It's only a block away from the beach. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful."
"Coming from Vegas, a friend and I stayed here for my birthday weekend. The hotel is probably a block away from the beach. This facility has the some of the friendliest staff I have seen at any Marriott hotel. Starting with Debbie who greets you every morning for breakfast and asks how you are doing. The second day, Debbie even asked how my bday was! She was great! Give this lady a raise! The housekeeping staff was also wonderful. Any time they passed by you they asked how you were doing and if you needed anything. Top notch. The rooms were clean and the noise was at a minimal. Will stay again if ever in the area. Thanks Fairfield!"
"If you want to be comfortable and feel like family stay here. The ladie that checked us in upgraded us we didn't ask.Late checkout because I'm a Marriott member. Everything was great! We will definitely be back!"

"Of all the hotels I've stayed that were renovated...this one is the best. I had a hard time telling if it was a brand new hotel or renovated. We did a night over in a room with a king bed. The room has all your usual hotel accommodations...mini-fridge, microwave, nice sized flat screen t.v., iron, etc. Our room was nice and clean, the bathroom was uber spacious, with a large walk-in shower. I really loved the lighting in the room, very updated and well done. It had a modern, but comfy look/feel to it. Our bed was SO comfortable. There was a chair with a detached foot rest as well as a desk with a chair in the room. The ac unit was a more updated, not so loud style of ac. Check-in and check-out went off without a hitch. We were able to find parking easily. I also noticed they had a little convenience kiosk next to the lobby that had wine, beer and other things for sale. The lobby had a nice set up with a lot of places to sit. The hotel is located very near to Jacksonville Beach, about a mile from it I believe. The ONLY drawback is that it didn't have a Jacuzzi, bummer. I was told some of the rooms have one, but not one by the pool. I would definitely stay here again."
"We decided to try this hotel after many years of staying at the Courtyard Marriott next to Mayo Clinic where the prices have become ridiculous. This hotel is perfect, the room is comfortable, newly renovated, the bathroom is large with a separate shower and tub. The room is large, we had two queen beds, there’s a desk, a chair and an ergonomic chair also. A Kerrigan coffeemaker, a small fridge and a safe. There is a guest laundry room, a nice pool and a great gym. We drive to Mayo Clinic everyday but for the price difference (40%) it is worth it, especially when you have to stay for a long time. Breakfast is good and plentiful with lots of options and included in the rate. Will stay here again."
"We checked out of another hotel that was terrible and came to this one. We were in Jacksonville to go to the Mayo Clinic. This hotel has a shuttle that runs all day to take you the hospital & pick you up! Room was immaculate and the bed comfy. Hotel staff were ALL friendly and very helpful! P.S. 24 hour coffee is served and it’s delicious! Will stay here again! "
