The Vista Palazzo is a fantastic hotel, the view is unmatched, the room is unmatched but the highlight of our Como trip has been the secrets of Como curated by Alberto! A - Authentic L - Legitimate B - Bellissimo E - Exquisite R - Respectful T - Truly Magnificent O - Overload of culinary magic The effort taken by him to ensure that we had a blissful time, was par excellence! Anyone who’s looking to come to Como, two things you must do: - Stay At Vista Palazzo - Meet & Trust Alberto Politeness, Courteous, Diligence are just too few words to describe the experience that was carefully curated to suit our taste. My wife and I recently enjoyed a memorable six night stay at Villa Flori. There’s so much to like about this hotel but the key for me is it’s lakeside position, with the road behind it, which gives uninterupted views across the lake and over to Como town. Breakfast in the garden at the water’s edge, watching the lake come to life with boats and wildlife and stunning mountainous scenery as a backdrop was a magical experience. The breakfast selection was excellent and the staff took care of every little detail to make sure our days started perfectly. Our top floor room was well laid out and comfortable with a bath and, most importantly, a balcony that gave us incredible, wide-angle, views over the lake. We enjoyed evenings just watching life go by on the water, rowers, seaplanes, birds and ferries all doing their thing as the sun set behind us. The location is superb as a base for exploring the area. Como town is 15 min walk mostly through garden parks and waterfront paths. There’s a ferry stop at Tavernola, a few mins walk north, which gives access to all the main towns and many smaller villages. You can also book a boat taxi to collect you at the hotel wharf, or travel by car, bicycle or bus. An all-round excellent hotel in unrivalled location with dedicated and professional staff. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Como (I hope we do).

WOW - this is just the most magnificent boutique hotel and a truly exceptional position. It’s super close to the lake AND shops AND restaurants - we only had a day and a half but I would gladly come back for a few days. One of our rooms had a window view directly our over the lake (302) and the other had a little balcony that offered views of the lake. (403) . I preferred the 302 room but my daughter said that it was a bit noisy due to the stream of cars. The rooms are comfy although I always dislike the joined single beds to create a king bed with a join. I always seem to end up stuck in the join (no matter how small the crack😂) The decor of the hotel is like a plush reminder of the 1930s - I felt like George Cluney might come round a corner at any moment. The building is superb and VERY picturesque. Service has been excellent and we feel very privileged. We have just finished breakfast in the most divine outdoor setting in the hotel grounds overlooking the lake. It is a bright blue sky and the wind is calm - I don’t think life gets much better than this.. Last night we dined at Ristorante Sottovoce which was a mere 100m away and absolutely as MUST do while staying at the perfect venue. “It’s such a shame we’re only here for one night” , my wife just said. But we still have a few hours to do a guided but tour with a private captain/guide - so there is still more special-ness to enjoy.

We visited villa Crespi for our anniversary. A wonderful retreat in a spectacular location. Especially in fall. Overall experience was great. We chose it for dining at Cannavacciuolo's renowned restaurant. Some disappointing details in both the room cleanliness and the restaurant plating, considering the very high expectations.
