The location of this hotel is very good. Walk to Museum metro station. You can take the subway from the airport without changing trains in the middle. But basically there is no facade, just like the illustration, a small sign. Pay attention. The room was quite clean, but there was no toothbrush or toothpaste. The bathroom is very small. There is free Wi-Fi in the room. Breakfast is average. Along the Pitt street at the entrance, you can walk to the seaside pier (that is, the Opera House), and you can also walk to Chinatown and city hall. There are trams on Geroge street, buy a transport card. Swipe it before getting in the car, and swipe it after getting off the car. The place to swipe the card is on the platform, but there is no swipe on the car. The tram also goes to the beach. Will pass through the busiest shopping mall.

We needed a hotel near Town Hall for a night after a concert and Ibis World Square was an excellent choice. Ibis is not the top of the Accor range but we have found they are consistent in cleanliness and friendly service if you just want a bed for the night. Being Accor members we were fortunate to have a room on the 16th floor. It was spacious, had a great view and the bathroom looks to have been recently updated to a high standard. Overall I would rate the hotel as being excellent value for money.

Hotel building is old but well maintained and room is kept clean. I got a room facing the road and the windows works well enough to keep out the road noise - but I still had to put on my noise-cancelling earbuds to fall asleep. Recommend you to try and ask for room facing inwards.

Everything's perfect from the location to the room service to the comfy bed. My only complaint is there was a constant loud clicking sound coming from the door area. No idea what it was.

It was a very comfortable stay throughout my trip. Location was perfect, within walking distances to Chinatown, Darling Square, Darling Harbour, bus stops and Light Rail stations. Room was very spacious and clean. Gym is open 24 hours which is very convenient. Recommended.

Customer service is what makes this hotel, very grateful to check in staff who came outside to our car to help a country family stressed by Sydney traffic to help us settle in. We stayed in a family room with separate king bedroom, oodles of room. Buffet breakfast was delicious, and parking across the road for $35, which is reasonable for Sydney!!

I stayed at the Vibe Sydney for a work trip. I chose the hotel as it was an excellent location - being particularly close to the Courts that I was appearing in. I enjoyed breakfast 2 of the 3 mornings at the Hotel restaurant, and cant fault the food or service. I have no hesitation recommending the hotel.

The lady at reception was very generous and helpful. Our stay was very comfortable and as for location, it was nice and close to Chinatown was a slight walk to the main CBD area. However, the light rail helps with the distance.

Great Mardi Gras weekend stay at Novotel. It is very close to the parade, very close to the Darling Harbour.

Very convenient and walking distance to central station Sydney and Chinatown/Haymarket. Room is big but furniture and decor looks tired and worn. Fridge doesn't seem to work. Cleanliness is ok. Late at night there were police called to a room on my floor for disturbance. Lift to rooms do not require tapping so security is an issue. Despite this the convenience and working condition of the room is ideal for business travelling.

Been staying here for years on business trips. Front reception staff are always the highlight, very professional, friendly and willing to help. I like the option for a late check out and the offer to stow bags in the storage until it’s time to leave. Character and old world charm and history of the building and its place among the area has been preserved. By far the best value for money considering it is competing with other glamorous accommodation in the heart of the city. Walking out the door and getting on the light rail is a big plus, easy trip to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and to the footy in the other direction towards SFS and Fox studios.

Older style building. But it has been going through staged renovations, so my review might not apply to other rooms. The bathroom was newly renovated, great shower and toilet. The bed was not good. Seems the mattress was old or something. Other than that, all was good. Plenty of food/drink options nearby.

Loved Room 504. Spacious, for an inner-city hotel. Loved the lights, and how the floor light comes on when you step into the bathroom! Beautiful bathroom. Refillable toiletries. Loved the the little seat/table at the foot of the bed and the lovely mantelpiece. Love how no plastic bags are used in the wastepaper baskets. Thank you for the upgrade, bottle of wine for our anniversary and the late check-out (2.00pm!) Most generous! Delicious dinner and breakfast in Bar Morris - what a gorgeous space! Impeccable service from the wait staff - friendly and professional. A perfect staycation!

If you check in, the front desk gave you room 6, please be sure to refuse! The entrance to room 6 is the elevator, very noisy, it is useless to bring earplugs, and I can't sleep at all. We lived in room 6 at the beginning, but we couldn't sleep at all. Thanks to the staff for helping us change to Room 5, it was much quieter. The hotel is located in the city center and it is very convenient to go to any attraction. The hotel staff is also great! Breakfast can be selected less, but still enough. Overall still a very good experience.

Having been at a conference over the normal meal hour, and needing to travel by train next morning, the location was ideal. I was able to relax and enjoy later meal. The room was easy to find and toilet/personal products provided of a high quality. It is unfortunate that, as is customary, single customers are required to pay the same as couples. I’m sure that it would be advantageous to have a room occupied by one person than to have it empty.

Sydney is expensive for accommodation but ”value for money” counts and this hotel was $150per night but worth a lot less. Yes, we had not travelled for a long time, 'COVID', but having travelled extensively previously, and in many countries, this was such a let down. The customer service really was lacking on arrival, they almost threw papers at us to fill in. I have waited to do this review to see if it is the ”new norm” but discovered IT IS NOT. Thankfully the other hotels we have stayed in, in N.S.W., were wonderful with their welcome to their area and accommodation provided, and were a lot cheaper too.
