Great! The three nights booked can be said to be perfect. We booked two bedrooms on the upper and lower floors. The view can be said that most hotels in Phuket have a Chinese front desk and a few noon waiters. And the club car is on call, very quickly. Just can't walk. The beach is slightly small but enough, we also went kayaking in the sea, and the hotel meals were good.

The location and view of the room are very good, and the experience of the private pool in the courtyard is also very good. It is recommended to further improve the configuration of home appliances to give guests a better experience

Reviews From Real Travelers
Wow. Ok, where to start? I read a LOT of TripAdvisor reviews when planning a trip, and understand that reviews are often a result of the expectations one sets for themselves when anticipating a trip/vacation. That said, while most of the reviews of this property are 5-Star, after researching the property, my own expectations were simply premium accommodations, a quiet retreat-like atmosphere, and a good restaurant. What my wife and I experienced was a full-on 5 (6 if the scale were higher) star resort in every sense. If you are looking for a peaceful, discrete and rejuvenating retreat complete with outstanding and prompt personalized service all in a lush natural tropical setting with supreme ocean views, then look no further, Banyan Tree Samui is it. I could write at length about our experience here, but I know you have a lot of reviews to read if you're like me. So here are most of the Highlights: 1. Fabulous accommodations - super comfortable bed/linens; separate bedroom/living/bath areas all with floor to ceiling windows offering spectacular sea views (IF you get the best villas). Walk-in shower w/large rectangular rain showerhead was brilliant. Pool was sparkling clean and allowed for ultimate cooling/relaxation in the warm temps all while taking in the incredible views. Additional outdoor seating area(s) for enjoying the outside. 2. Staff - Wonderful; THE epitome of hospitable. Super friendly, and always eager to immediately assist with even the smallest of requests. Dada (villa host), Golf, Lek (massage therapist), Jane, all serving staff and buggy drivers, even landscapers we passed throughout the grounds - ALL incredibly pleasant and eager to please. 3. Dining - Breakfast spread (hate to call it a buffet because that makes it sound tacky) was incredible. Multiple hot and cold options, western and Asian dishes, full baked goods/pastries selection, fresh fruits, cold cuts, fresh juices, multiple coffee options. Dinner at Saffron was outstanding. A few reviews have mentioned Saffron as being just average, but the food (including portion size), flavors, and as aforementioned, the servers were all terrific. Yes, it's more expensive than getting dinner at a local Thai joint in town (an obvious point made in another review), but you're at a 5-star resort with top-notch service and very special ambiance being pampered as a resort guest. But to give you an idea of ”expensive” (a very relative term): two appetizers, two soups, two entrees, and two desserts, plus non-alcoholic beverages - $105.00 US dollars. Any fine dining, high-end restaurant in a big city in the USA will cost you triple that. 4. The Spa should not be missed. Incredible massage treatments/experiences provided by very experienced and professional therapists all done in traditional Thai fashion. Wonderful. 5. Incidentals: The resort is mostly non-walkable meaning that you are either in your villa (but that's why you come here; your villa is an oasis) or at one of the

Best trip I’ve been in in Thailand, and I’m from here. The Banyan Tree team, from the Villa Host to Housekeeping, were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Thank you to P’ Abby, P’ Anna, and P’ Anne and Kru Nu, and Rueng too. We had a complimentary sailing lesson, yoga classes, and took a day trip to Pig Island all organized by the Banyan staff. They were incredibly accommodating to my partner’s dietary preferences as well. Very very very happy with our stay. 11/10 would recommend!

The Conrad Koh Samui was hailed by many netizens as one of the crown jewels in Hilton's Asia Pacific hotel portfolio and having experienced it, I would proudly say the same too. I would even rate this as the best hotel experience I've had in recent years with full marks given to the hospitality of the staff, amazing views and great rooms. My wife and I had the best time during our 3D2N recent trip to Conrad Koh Samui where we booked a villa for 2 pax. The hotel is situated at an amazing location with legendary views of the sea and sunset from your own villa, which has a private infinity pool for us to lounge around. Despite it's age, the villa is maintained in a great condition and recent refurbishments which I understood took place during the COVID19 years further enhanced our experience of staying at the Conrad Koh Samui. Most of all, what made our stay so great was the hospitality of the staff on site. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to Jack Huang (Assistant Guest Relations Manager), who reached out to us via email prior to our arrival and kept in touch with us via whatsapp (almost on a 24 hrs basis) to ensure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. He made my wife and I feel welcomed from the first minute we stepped onto the resort, addressing us by our names each time he sees us, making us feel like we are old friends of his. Even after we have left, he made arrangements to mail us an item which we left behind at the hotel despite his busy schedule. We are highly appreciative of him and his team for taking such good care of us during our stay and their hospitality is definitely one of the reasons why our stay is highly memorable! If you are looking for a place to unwind, I would definitely recommend staying a few days at the Conrad Koh Samui!

Absolutely superb stay in Conrad Koh Samui. The villas are no doubt amazing, every villa enjoys privacy with their own private pool and views to the ocean or the Five Islands, and the villa size is huge as well. We stayed in the Oceanfront villa Room 208, but we had a nice view of the Five Island. Pool in the villa is saltwater. The bathroom is almost the size of the bedroom! There's a (very) huge bathtub in the bathroom, and a separate shower area, and separate toilet with bidet. Going from the villa to the restaurant, spa, lobby, beach would require a buggy as the roads are very steep and it's quite a long walk. Luckily since Room 208 is nearby the restaurant for breakfast as well as access to pool & beach, we can walk and don't need to wait for buggy. When we were there we always get a buggy quite quickly too, no long waiting time. Location is secluded, so it's perfect for a lazy, resort vacation. The drawback is of course it's a bit far from the ”city center” and the airport (~45 minutes drive) and convenience store/other restaurants, but this was no problem for us because we just wanted to maximize our time in the resort. Service is impeccable. I'd like to especially mention Goy who served us at Jahn, who made the dining experience much more enjoyable, as well as Jack Huang who helped us during our stay. There are free activities provided including yoga, kickboxing, etc but we didn't get to do it. We went for kayaking which was also free. Other free activities include paddleboarding and snorkeling. Note that the beach & sea is quite rocky so not a lot of corals to snorkel. We went for excursion arranged by the hotel (at an additional rate) to Pig Island & Koh Tan. All in all very enjoyable experience in Conrad, which was a perfect secluded, lazy beach vacation for us.

Six Senses Samui is everything I could have hoped for and more. We were lucky enough to stay in a Hideaway Pool Villa - an absolutely gorgeous huge room with an amazing bathroom and an outdoor shower. The villa has its own private pool with sun-loungers and outdoor lounge seating and is absolutely spectacular. I had the opportunity to see a couple of the other pool villas and the ocean view suites really are exceptional with either sunrise or sunset views. The infinity pool is stunning and has far reaching ocean views. Drink and food service by the pool is fantastic with a lovely menu. Drift is Six Senses Samui’s beach club. With a pool, bar and the most comfortable loungers and seating imaginable. There was never an issue finding a lounger either at the pool or down on the beach. Drift Bar has a livelier atmosphere than the serene infinity pool and is a great place for lunch or afternoon cocktails at Happy Hour. Dining on the Hill is wonderful for breakfast - a fantastic selection on both the buffet and a La carte menu. Dinner was fantastic - a great selection of both Thai and Western food and I’d highly recommend booking Half Board. The resort is so beautiful at night as well with all the lights twinkling. We didn’t have the opportunity to eat at Dining on the Rocks but heard that it was a very special experience. The staff at Six Senses are all lovely. Each Villa is assigned a GEM (Guest Experience Maker) and we were lucky enough to have the wonderful Beth. Beth made us feel so welcome and was so helpful and friendly - he really is a credit to Six Senses and made our stay even more wonderful. Although you can walk around the resort and take in the views, when the heat becomes too much for the hills and steps, buggy’s are readily available to transport you around. Despite the size of the resort it somehow still retains an intimate feel. Despite feeling totally secluded in Paradise, Six Senses is only a 15 minute taxi journey from Samui Airport as well as The Fisherman’s Village which is well worth a visit - we loved the Fire Show at Coco Tams as recommended by Beth our GEM. Sustainability is clearly very important to Six Senses and it’s great not to see plastic anywhere at the resort. Six Senses Samui is the perfect destination for couples and families - there are plenty of activities available for children and adults alike if you can tear yourself away from the stunning views!

I don't usually write such detailed reviews, but I decided to write for Six Senses Samui. The property is built on the entire cape in the north of the island, overlooking the ocean, with a great view, in the jungle and designed to blend in with the texture of nature. You won't see plastic garbage bags, for example, they carry garbage in elegant sacks made of natural materials, I like it very much. It is both far from the city and easy to reach the most lively places of the island. If the simplicity of the reception misleads you at your first entrance, remember that this hotel has a different concept. When you reach your villa, you will understand that you have made the right choice. The villas are very comfortable. I especially recommend villas with pools, their outdoor spaces and living areas are more spacious. You will feel yourself in paradise under the plumeria and banana trees. From the large windows of the villas, you enjoy the lush tropical texture of 360 degrees. The bed and pillow are very comfortable, the towels and sheets are of good quality. We recommend the restaurant Dining on the Rock, amazing panaroma and delicious food. The property has its own bay, a beach. The beach is clean and well maintained, the sun loungers are comfortable and clean. During our stay, the tide was low, the sea was shallow, but it was still swimmable compared to many of Thailand's shores. Service on the beach or at the pool was quick, complete. Already the service throughout the hotel is fantastic. The staff is high quality. Congratulations to the hotelier Mrs. Marieke Dijkhuis. We would also like to thank each and every one of you, especially Miguel.

I and my wife stayed in a garden facing pool villa with about 60 sq meters in size. The villa’s own pool was very clean and the balcony was facing the east. Other than a little noise generated from our neighbours next door, the environment was absolutely serene and peaceful. The room is thoroughly cleaned because of the efficient housekeeping staff who responded to our needs almost within 5 minutes every time we called. We particularly enjoyed the convenience and cleanliness of the fitness room which is immediately opposite to my villa. All hotel staff are very courteous and helpful when being approached by us. While driving their golf carts around, they would always actively stop and give us a lift for wherever we wished to go within the resort. The restaurant Kiree didn’t disappoint us as per other guests’ compliments. It offers a wide range of sumptuous dishes in semi-buffet style breakfast and the chef could made some specific dishes according to our orders. The Kiree also impressed us by the set dinner with wine-pairing given its fusion of quality Thai and International food and choices of wine. My wife and I believe we would come back in the summer which would be dryer and lots of sunshine! Highly recommended!

A very happy travel experience, relaxing both physically and mentally. Choose this hotel if you like to be calm and don’t want to be disturbed by the outside world

It is not very convenient to take a tractor to go to the island and to go to the town for a while. The room facilities are good, and the swimming pool is also very beautiful. The Seaview Bay Villa I booked is exactly the same as the one in the photo. But the ceiling of the bathroom was leaking. I told the front desk that it would be repaired soon, but the hotel apologized. As a 5,000-night hotel, it seems unreasonable. There are buffet and a la carte breakfasts, not many types, and the taste is average. The dinner at the long d tai restaurant has a beautiful view and a mediocre taste. The beach is not good, there are many reefs, but free fruit and water will be given in the public swimming pool. The overall stay experience is not as good as the previous hotel Vana Belle
- Guest User
I came here to attend a friend's wedding. It was a good experience. The health service is very good, the restaurant is also delicious, and the breakfast is very rich. The price of the hotel is high in Koh Samui, and I think it is worth it. They are all single-family villas with swimming pools. To leave the hotel, you have to take a boat/car, which is a special experience for children. On the last day, I got up early to catch the plane, and the hotel also prepared a packed light meal box for us to take away~

Went there to Celebrate Our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Our first time to Koh Samui so was abit nervous about the arrangement. But the staff was so kind and make sure everything was in order from our late check-in to everything we requested etc. They even gave us a bottle of complimentary champagne along with a flower filled bathtub ,bed decorations etc.We are so impressed with the Service, Quality Of Food ,Cleanliness of the Hotel and many many more. Everything is Perfect .Definitely will be back for more.

Check-in was a breeze, and room was very spacious and clean! The pool was a great touch! Kids club was small but with special daily activities available so it’s sufficient to keep my children aged 4 and 7 very entertained. Walkable to Central Samui mall (around 15 mins) and there is also a family mart just outside the hotel. In room amendities like safe, toiletries, coffee machine, tea, hair dryer etc are available. Daily housekeeping available too. Will recommend!
