"This hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Secret Pine Forest Suite and had our own private sauna, balcony and log burning fire and beautiful hanging bed. Everything was so clean and smelled gorgeously of fresh wood and herbs. From the warm reception welcome to the custom drinks service at the bar the staff were incredible. The free pick up service from the local station to the hotel made arriving by train super stress free and convenient. The food in the morning and the evening is exquisite - always so fresh with such playful and incredible flavours. We would’ve had to pay twice the price for such quality food in London. The spa facilities were absolutely spotless and so relaxing and beautiful. We also enjoyed an amazing massage with personalised oils made from herbs gathered on the mountain and prepared in the hotel. The scenery is stunning, a breathtaking mountain paradise. We had the most perfect, special holiday for my girlfriend’s birthday (we were given free cocktail vouchers to celebrate). This hotel cannot be rated high enough."
"Spent 3 nights here mainly to ski and take advantage of spa/activities. The location and hotel/property are excellent as you're up the mountain a bit and 'away' from it all. Perfect ski-in/ski out and facilities for everything (yoga, spa, gym, bar). Room was great and overall service was excellent. The only thing that needs improvement is the meal situation as it was consistently 'chaotic' and not very well serviced. Food itself was fine but the fact that it's a hybrid-buffet and only during certain times made it so that wait staff wasn't really able to handle drink order and serving meals was slow and not good on the nights it wasn't full buffet. Having to go thru that every night and even a bit in the a.m. for breakfast seems like something they should be able to solve and given the rates everyone's paying at this hotel isn't something you should have to deal with. But, overall it's a very good place and would recommend it for a very civilized 'mountain break' or ski-holiday in Austria."
"Firstly, let me say, the location is wonderful. Right on the side of the mountain, could not ask for better. We chose this hotel as their website claimed that they catered for vegans. Being a vegan, it sounded like a trouble free holiday. The reality was that they were not prepared for vegans. Their menu contains one vegan meal and 5 non vegan. The assumption that all vegans have identical taste and would want the same meal is ludicrous. To be fair to the hotel, after complaining, the kitchen did offer us additional choices. This was appreciated. However, the choices often did not constitute a meal, more a side. Such meals were a plate of broccoli with greens and a plate of mashed potatoes with 8 broad beans. Also, we got very excited one day as we were offered seitan sausages, which we assumed would be homemade. The sausages turned out to be shop bought. Overall the hotel has so much potential. They need a chef that can actually cook vegan food and the hotel needs to live up to its marketing!"

"We just love the hotel and this was our 3. stay and the 6 time We went to Kaprun. Despite Covid-19 the service and food were as good as before. The Covid-19 safety was also very good. We stay in fine room with a fantasi view and We had a very good table in the restaurant with a very Nice view. Katja served for us many times and she was very sweet, smiley and service minded. The food was as good as usual. All over the service and food in the restaurant was very very good. The refrigerator in the room is such a good idea. We would however have liked to been able to make a cup of Coffee. We still wundering about about the smoking on the hotel...... We think it is awful and the person next door to us was smoking on the balcony and the smoke went into our room and balcony. So We had to go i side and close the door. There should be a smoke area in the hotel or devide the hotel in non smoking/smoking. However we loved our room and the view😊 The pool area is so Nice and the sauna area is super. The service by check out was very good as one of our Credit card was out of order, but the staff was so kind and patient. All over We had a perfect vacation and Will be back next year."
"Kaprun is ibviously a ski resort and after a day in the mountains, this is a lovely relaxing experience. Pros: - Locker included - Large facilities, never crowdy - All pools are warm, 34 - 36 degrees Celcius - 3 Outdoor swim-out pools plus another outdoor pool - At certain times, there is also an outdoor bar (not by the pool though) - Hot stone sofas to sit on to get warm Cons: - Quite expensive - Sauna costs double up - Locker room mixed with sexes - Lack of changing rooms available - No Jaccuzzis at all :-( Well worth visiting!"
"After more than a month to write a review before I went, I thought I must go to Austria to soak in the snow mountain hot spring. After the comparison, I chose Tauen and I really lived up to my expectations. The hotel’s hot spring facilities are also complete and the service is great. The rooms are also great Value for money"

"Our family of 4 stayed in Zell Am See for 1 night during our vacation through Bavaria. We had the 2 bedroom suite on the second floor. Each had a large comfy king sized bed, sitting area in between, and very nice bathroom. The decor was very charming and it was a very comfortable stay. The lake is a short walk from the hotel as is the village area with tons of restaurants and shops. We were there on a Wednesday evening which is apparently a festive day of the week in Zell Am See during the summer. There is free parking on-site. While it did not bother us, I will warn you that there is no elevator in the hotel so baggage will need to be carried up to the upper floors. We did not dine in the restaurant, though the menu looked good. We would have loved to stay an additional night to enjoy the hotel and surrounding areas, but we were glad we had the one night. I'd highly recommend if you're looking for a very quiet and charming place to stay in Zell Am See!"
"The setting is picturesque. It's quiet, near the lake promenade, surrounded by mountain peaks and offers all the amenities one could hope for. When can I move in? The village of Zell am See is close by with lovely shops to explore. Don't miss the Hunterwasser sculpture near the lake. We had a large well-decorated apartment, with very comfortable bed and furniture. There was a large bathtub for soaking our tired feet and an espresso machine for early morning coffee. The restaurant wasn't open so don't know about it, but the petite déjeune was lovely with an abundance of choices. The manager, Annette, was excellent, friendly and helpful."
"A memorable stay at this glorious hotel. Each room offers an incomparable ambiance and the most generous spaces in Zell am See. Our large room overlooked the church and the gardens. Anette and her team were the perfect hosts. We can’t wait to go back.  It is the best place to stay in Zell Am See ! Away from town and the railway track! The hotel also helped us hire a 911 Porsche to drive the Grossglockner Alpine road! A perfect holiday! Thank you Anette :)"
