"This hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Secret Pine Forest Suite and had our own private sauna, balcony and log burning fire and beautiful hanging bed. Everything was so clean and smelled gorgeously of fresh wood and herbs. From the warm reception welcome to the custom drinks service at the bar the staff were incredible. The free pick up service from the local station to the hotel made arriving by train super stress free and convenient. The food in the morning and the evening is exquisite - always so fresh with such playful and incredible flavours. We would’ve had to pay twice the price for such quality food in London. The spa facilities were absolutely spotless and so relaxing and beautiful. We also enjoyed an amazing massage with personalised oils made from herbs gathered on the mountain and prepared in the hotel. The scenery is stunning, a breathtaking mountain paradise. We had the most perfect, special holiday for my girlfriend’s birthday (we were given free cocktail vouchers to celebrate). This hotel cannot be rated high enough."
"Spent 3 nights here mainly to ski and take advantage of spa/activities. The location and hotel/property are excellent as you're up the mountain a bit and 'away' from it all. Perfect ski-in/ski out and facilities for everything (yoga, spa, gym, bar). Room was great and overall service was excellent. The only thing that needs improvement is the meal situation as it was consistently 'chaotic' and not very well serviced. Food itself was fine but the fact that it's a hybrid-buffet and only during certain times made it so that wait staff wasn't really able to handle drink order and serving meals was slow and not good on the nights it wasn't full buffet. Having to go thru that every night and even a bit in the a.m. for breakfast seems like something they should be able to solve and given the rates everyone's paying at this hotel isn't something you should have to deal with. But, overall it's a very good place and would recommend it for a very civilized 'mountain break' or ski-holiday in Austria."
"Firstly, let me say, the location is wonderful. Right on the side of the mountain, could not ask for better. We chose this hotel as their website claimed that they catered for vegans. Being a vegan, it sounded like a trouble free holiday. The reality was that they were not prepared for vegans. Their menu contains one vegan meal and 5 non vegan. The assumption that all vegans have identical taste and would want the same meal is ludicrous. To be fair to the hotel, after complaining, the kitchen did offer us additional choices. This was appreciated. However, the choices often did not constitute a meal, more a side. Such meals were a plate of broccoli with greens and a plate of mashed potatoes with 8 broad beans. Also, we got very excited one day as we were offered seitan sausages, which we assumed would be homemade. The sausages turned out to be shop bought. Overall the hotel has so much potential. They need a chef that can actually cook vegan food and the hotel needs to live up to its marketing!"
