Wine tour interesting and tasting good. Tuscan Terrace restaurant at dinner was very poorly lit and had to use phone torch to read menu and see food. Plates cold and consequently meal was cold my time it was served - requested new food and received discount but spoiled experience. Pavilions very comfortable accommodation although I found pillows too high. Breakfast hamper slightly disappointing. Staff were all very pleasant.

The Glen was a wonderful hotel during our visit to Brisbane at Christmas. The hotel staff are super friendly, the rooms are nicely decorated and clean and the pool was welcome hot days. The secure parking is great and the hotel is located close to multiple motorways to get around town. In addition, the Glen Hotel restaurant across the parking lot is amazing. The breakfast restaurant is fantastic, the pizza oven lunch is great and the formal dining room at night is excellent. Highly recommend.

The room is spacious and everything was clean and tidy and well maintained on arrival. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good facilities and close proximity to the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was that the hotel did not communicate that there would not be room service (clean and linen refresh) for 3 of the 4 days that we were there- this was unfortunate and cause some confusion for us. We understand that this may have been caused by staff on sick leave, but we were disappointed by the lack of communication on this.

The main reason for this low rating is on the basis of disability access. While booking and getting a wheelchair accessible room was fine, we didn't know until we arrived that the reception, indeed, ANY staff, finished at 2.00pm on Sunday. The problem was that the ONLY access in or out was via the fire escape! The lady who booked us in said that we only had to ring and she would come and open the front door for us, the inference being that she lived onsite. We told her that we would be out with friends, including dinner, until about 10.30pm. She assured us that it was fine and she would let us in. We arrived back at 9.45pm and rang the designated number but were informed that we had been forgotten and some family/friends would come and let us in. They arrived in two cars, after we waited for 25 minutes. When we went down the corridor to our room, the security doors between our room and the lobby were firmly locked. If there was a fire I would have had to get my wheelchair down 4 flights of stairs in the Fire Escape as the only possible exit. In the morning, we went to leave at 08.30 and discovered that we were trapped until that point. We rang the designated mobile number for the onsite manager to come and let us out - it took 30 mins and it was obvious that the minibus idling outside had just delivered her from some distance away! For a different perspective, the room was a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable. On the negative side there was only a commode chair over the toilet and a complete lack of other seating in the shower. It's pretty difficult for a wheelchair-bound guest to move a commode chair without wheels while sitting on it. Finally, some light fittings had no bulbs and an armchair had sponge rubber completely exposed on the armrests, as you would expect if you saw it at a kerbside collection...

I stayed in this hotel last night, as I went to Cleveland to see a play at the Redland Performing Arts Centre. I chose this place solely because of its location, ie I could walk to the theatre. When I checked in and opened the fridge, there was a half-eaten roast chicken in the fridge! Ugh! I found it off-putting and sickening, and didn't feel like putting my own food in there after that! I phoned Reception, and they came to remove it, but blamed the housekeeping staff. On Friday afternoon there were cigarette butts on the internal stairs, and they were still there when I checked out on Sat at 10:00.! The room was large, but there was no microwave oven. The bed was very firm and hard, but I had a very comfortable night's sleep. I booked online, which was a real circus performance! They sent me an email, asking my email address!!! Huh?? Despite the sign out the front saying the bar was open, it was never open when I was there. I would not stay here again!

Central to everything. Shops, McDonalds, Restaurants, most conveniences. Rooms were clean, serviced daily, great little breakfast package every day. Undercover parking was fantastic as it rained the whole time I stayed. Parking is right out the front of the unit, large car spots supplied . Friendly reception staff, housekeepers were warm and accomodating also. The showers were lovely. Beautiful rain drop head on the showers with lovely hot water. Excellent after a long day out. Block out curtains for a sleep in if required. A designated smoking area was a nice touch also. Meals can be delivered to your room easily, nice variety of food available as well. I stayed on reception side which made traffic noise hardly noticeable. My stay was a week long. Only one small hiccup with the fire alarm early one morning. Only small downside is there is no micro-wave.

So, I treated myself to a night away, from stress of relocating back to Brisbane this week . It was kind of a last minute thing, thought I’d try somewhere new & found Nightcap in Springwood. Oh my gosh!!! It was exactly like the photos said, amazingly clean, amazingly comfortable bed ( which is a big deal for my having a disability) Kate was so helpful leading up to the stay, she let me do a prepayment instead of on arrival. Shes was so welcoming. I have no issues with the room. Only that the McDonald’s in the complex doesn’t sell frappes ( it’s literally like 50 metres ) 😂. Thank you again Kate I will be returning.

The hotel has the potential to be good but for me, it missed the mark. I can overlook the decor as I feel this can be a personal thing. The room itself is satisfactory - the bed was a king, shower pressure was excellent, had a small fridge and ironing board. The airconditioner is good (but noisy) and there is a lot of light that comes in from the main corridor at night (tip: put a towel against the door to block the lightl). I requested a quiet room and one away from the elevator. Unfortunately I got a room next to the elevator and the room directly opposite me had music playing which I could hear from my room. Most rooms seem to look out on to the carpark/entrance. During the middle of the night (1am/2am) people would sit out the front and have a cigarette but the conversation could be heard from the room. Overall, I found it to be very noisy and disruptive to sleep (which is very important to me).Very limited food options from the hotel but if you have Uber Eats, there are lots of food place near by. Would I stay here again - not at this stage.

Stayed a few nights for work. The location and free parking is welcome for those with a car and needing good access to Brisbane suburbs and surrounds. Quick check in a pleasant enough rooms. Well stocked coffee and tea facilities and bathroom supplies.

Ordinarily I would have given this 3 star more than likely but due to the price I could give it 4 stars. I think I paid around $80 a night for which just outside Brisbane is immensely cheap. It was clean and bathroom was ok. Secured free parking and close to local shops. The place was very quiet. It was old and but for the price couldn’t complained. Staff receptionist was nice and check in couldn’t have been easier. Overall for the price I would stay again.

The hotel service is very good, the equipment is very new, and it feels safer than the other hotels in this time. The room is large, comfortable, and the location is good. It's not too far away if you drive.
