"What a wonderful place. For all the hardships that this amazing country is enduring, this resort is like a little oasis. We were a party of 9 so were all in individual rooms. Apart from small issues such as a number of the locks on the sliding doors bring faulty and some of the showerheads had been put on incorrectly so the water didn’t run through correctly, the rooms were clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the food was simple but excellent. But the friendliness of the staff at the Resort was the highlight. From reception through to housekeeping through to the staff in the restaurant, great ambassadors for the Resort and there country. The wandering wildlife was a highlight too. It is so peaceful and charming. Definitely worth a return visit. "
"I stayed at Manna resort in October 2019, for the second time. The place is developing to a nice paradise, the ambience makes a difference. Animals (Zebras and Impalas) makes the place more beautiful. The food from the restaurant was very nice. 1 things which need to be changed is check out time, 10:00am is too early. Everything was perfect. I will be back again next year."
"First things first, the bathrooms have no privacy. See photos. There is, bizarrely, a large window (not frosted) between the bedroom and bathroom, while the bathroom door -- right next to the main room door -- was transparent as well. Using the toilet when housekeeping comes in? Wave and say hi! Need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night without disturbing your partner? Light up the whole room! Have a visitor in your room? Hope nobody likes using the bathroom in private! If that were only a funny footnote on an otherwise normal stay, this might have been a two-star review. Alas, it was not. When there was only one towel in our room on arrival, my partner and I -- as instructed -- called the reception to ask for another. Time passed. We called again. Another hour passed. Finally roamed around until I found a housekeeping person, who gave us a second towel. "We were just on our way to your room!" they said. Sure, ok. Our room had no hot water over the three days. We asked hotel management, and they said "we'll turn it on!" Reader, they did not turn the hot water on. It's one thing to pay over 100 USD a night for a place with no hot water; it's another to pay that much to be completely lied to over and over by hotel management. Avoid, avoid, avoid."
