3 Willowmead Lane, Harare, Zimbabwe
"I arrived very early in Harare from Johannesburg and the friendly driver from Willow Lodge was at the airport to meet me to take me to Willow. This is one of the many excellent services Willow offer - a safe airport pick up. The Lodge as usual was very clean and staff from the owners to the cooks very hospitable. My room was great and spacious, with a lovely warm electric blanket. Despite the challenges of electricity, Willow Lodge catered for us throughout the day and we had access to most amenities. The location of Willow is perfectly suited for close proximity to one of the major shopping centres in Harare. Additionally it is in close proximity to some other restaurants and some of the major schools. What I really love about Willow is the homely feel, the home cooked dinners and excellent variety for breakfast."
"My daughter and I stayed over night in September on our annual trip to Zimbabwe. Each time has been better than the previous. Safe and very comfortable. Staff are very courteous and helpful, rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, excellent meals and generous portions. Bar is open and operates on the "honor system". New dining area is welcoming and well done, very pleasant. Wifi works and TV with mainly local or South African channels available. I will not stay elsewhere in Harare."
"I’m a frequent visitor and with good reason. What a gem. Location is ideal, a peaceful garden setting nestled in the suburbs but close to the city centre, shops etc. Accommodation is exceptional with all necessary amenities. Breakfast and dinner always delicious. WiFi is easily good enough for work. Anything you need is never to much for the friendly and professional staff who get things done without any fuss. If you want to feel like you’re at home among friends, look no further."

Number 1 Portal Road, Highlands, Harare, Zimbabwe
"We stayed at Pakanaka Lodge as we were attending a family wedding in Harare. The lodge and its surroundings were very peaceful and were ideal for using as a base while we were visiting our family. The thatched rooms were comfortable and clean and the free wifi was very reliable. The breakfast was served in a dining near reception and although there wasn't a huge selection, it was a full cooked breakfast. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The lodge isn't in the heart of the city, so you would need a taxi to get around if you don't have your own transport. Credit cards were accepted"
"The place is very very hard to find, even with GPS! If you book using Expedia or booking.com your money is taken automatically online but when you arrive at pakanaka lodge, they pretend like you haven’t paid and you will be forced to pay again! So instead of $250 I ended up paying $500. Expedia have tried to reimburse my money but the owner/manager ignores their emails and calls! Damn shame!!! Food is good, receptionists are good & general look of the place is good. Water in the tub is BROWN. The thatched roofs aren’t good when it rains, there were bugs on my initial bed after it rained."

Jason Moyo Ave, Harare, Zimbabwe
"Absolutely stunning hotel in the heart of Harare with most places just a short distance away. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, they are very spacious and bathrooms with a bathtub and a separate shower cubicle as well. The views are amazing as well, you get so see the busy city life and capture the greenery as well. The rooftop swimming pool and sauna are a must use as well! You can also capture great views of the city from up here. The dining experience is fantastic. We picked the breakfast option and were not disappointed at all! The crew at the hotel is amazing as well and are ready to cater to all your needs."
"We had a fantastic stay for one night on New Years Eve in interleading standard rooms due to young children. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating, and we felt like royalty! The care and love put into the hotel was always evident, and the food was lovely. We had forgotten a shirt in our room, to which I received an email the next day which was greatly appreciated. I would like to commend all the staff at Meikles for great services, especially Lorraine at Bookings who was so helpful. Looking forward to our next stay"
"The hotel is located in central Harare and is safe and comfortable with 24/7 room service, reliable fast internet (you can stream Netflix). I did not use the gym or pool so can't speak to that but the rooms are spacious and convenient, although nothing exciting. I would recommend the hotel and stay again."

4 Parham Road,Ballantyne Park, Harare, Zimbabwe
"The family needed plenty of space for a great reunion and Ballantyne's Lodge more than meet the spec. In every aspect, from the peaceful luxury and roominess of the suites, to the many gathering areas, and the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff; we were all so very glad to have been able to stay. Shirley, Hayley, Kirsten and all their wonderful staff members made us so welcome and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble. The food was exquisite too. I cannot thank you enough for every detail you put into making us feel at home every moment. Nobody wanted to go!"
"This is a lovely guesthouse not too far from Sam Levy Village. Luxury linens, huge bed, spacious room, nice cot for babies and large bathrooms. Our room had a shower and bath. Turndown service in the evenings. Handwritten note and Easter egg by the bed to greet you - it's the little things which make a difference. The kitchen staff are lovely and will pretty much make what you want for breakfast if they have it. Safe and secure, ample parking and lovely, peaceful grounds to relax in. Definitely recommend for a stay in Harare."
"What a lovely happy place. The owners, Dean and Shirley, are so accommodating.. from getting us meat for a braai to arranging transport. There is a wonderful homely feeling, open spaces and lovely garden. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended."

2 Buckland Lane, Teviotdale, Harare, Zimbabwe
"I stayed for one night due to an event that was taking place at the lodge. Upon check-in, I was given a room that had a very strong odor and asked to move rooms. The staff were very accommodating and changed my room to another which was better - thank you! But I found the bathroom to be not very clean. I was looking forward to taking a bath, but it looked unclean as did the shower. The light fixture in the bathroom was just a bulb with no fixture. The television remote did not work well and the batteries were falling out because there was no cover to hold them in. "
"Lovely lodge in Zimbabwe. We attended a conference here and it was very well presented. The room of the conference was spacious and well ventilated. The staff were so attentive. The meals very delicious. I would recommend this establishment for other functions ! "
"Wild Geese Lodge is one of the locations for Richard Burton's film, Wild Geese. It is close to Harare with beautiful gardens and lovely private chalets. The service is simply the best you could hope to discover anywhere."

132 Baines Avenue, Harare, Zimbabwe
"We spent three nights here and loved it. This place was beautiful. Well maintained, immaculate grounds, two pools, a bar, a restaurant, and lovely, friendly, and helpful staff. Every room has a lovely view. We were facing the front garden with a fish pond and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Every unit has a balcony and large bedroom doors to let the outside in. The bedrooms are very clean and come equipped with coffee, tea, water, soap, shampoo, etc. There are grocery stores, shops, and restaurants within a five minute walk. Or you can walk the beautiful grounds of the hotel itself. We would highly recommend the Bronte Hotel for a peaceful getaway."
"The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful - the rooms were clean, comfortable and functional. The bar facilities were good - very helpful, cheery barman on duty. Good facilities for meetings - small quiet rooms conducive to such meetings all on the ground floor. Breakfast was good - food well prepared and presented."
"Just stayed a week at the Bronte and can highly recommend it. Excellent service, quiet rooms. All staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu could be improved, and it would be great if they had real cofee. "

Samora Machel Avenue And,Fifth Street, Harare, Zimbabwe
"Booked totally last minute and checked in, all was perfect, clean room, great dinner and even better breakfast facilities. My only gripe would be I called to book and was told totally full, then less than a minute later I looked on line and surprised to see plenty of availability, meaning reception did not even look. However the place is the only place I would stay whilst in Harare. "
"The place to be if u want to be safe and sound with no ******s roaming around as one needs a room card to use the lifts going up. On the security front this is the best I have seen so far. The food is great especially the rapoko sadza and t bone. "
"Love the breakfast especially, clean rooms. Experienced a glitch in check in, but was rectified, experienced another glitch at breakfast time.. it was embarrassing.. eventually it was rectified. The staff is well trained, very polite. Will book again "

690 Glenwood Drive,Glen Lorne, Helensvale, Harare, Zimbabwe
"What a wonderful place. For all the hardships that this amazing country is enduring, this resort is like a little oasis. We were a party of 9 so were all in individual rooms. Apart from small issues such as a number of the locks on the sliding doors bring faulty and some of the showerheads had been put on incorrectly so the water didn’t run through correctly, the rooms were clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the food was simple but excellent. But the friendliness of the staff at the Resort was the highlight. From reception through to housekeeping through to the staff in the restaurant, great ambassadors for the Resort and there country. The wandering wildlife was a highlight too. It is so peaceful and charming. Definitely worth a return visit. "
"I stayed at Manna resort in October 2019, for the second time. The place is developing to a nice paradise, the ambience makes a difference. Animals (Zebras and Impalas) makes the place more beautiful. The food from the restaurant was very nice. 1 things which need to be changed is check out time, 10:00am is too early. Everything was perfect. I will be back again next year."
"First things first, the bathrooms have no privacy. See photos. There is, bizarrely, a large window (not frosted) between the bedroom and bathroom, while the bathroom door -- right next to the main room door -- was transparent as well. Using the toilet when housekeeping comes in? Wave and say hi! Need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night without disturbing your partner? Light up the whole room! Have a visitor in your room? Hope nobody likes using the bathroom in private! If that were only a funny footnote on an otherwise normal stay, this might have been a two-star review. Alas, it was not. When there was only one towel in our room on arrival, my partner and I -- as instructed -- called the reception to ask for another. Time passed. We called again. Another hour passed. Finally roamed around until I found a housekeeping person, who gave us a second towel. "We were just on our way to your room!" they said. Sure, ok. Our room had no hot water over the three days. We asked hotel management, and they said "we'll turn it on!" Reader, they did not turn the hot water on. It's one thing to pay over 100 USD a night for a place with no hot water; it's another to pay that much to be completely lied to over and over by hotel management. Avoid, avoid, avoid."
