"My wife and I come to Johnson City 1 or 2 times a month for my appointments at the VAMC. We have stayed at 6 different hotels. We stayed at Fairfield exclusively for 2 years but due to a rude employee we stopped staying there. After trying 4 others we came here. We were blown away by how friendly the staff is. The rooms exceed any place we have stayed at in terms of cleanliness, decor and amenities. The price is also less expensive than some of the others. The rooms are wonderful, no foul odors or weirdness. We dipped in the pool and had dinner and cocktails in the Bistro. We will stay here from now on. We could stay at a motel for alot less but we like clean rooms, comfortable beds, good WiFi and TV's and the ability to get food without a hassle. Also we feel like this hotel is safer and more secure. It's 4 minutes from the VA and checkout is noon. Breakfast is provided as well. A nice breakfast. Starbucks is great too. Do yourself a favor and stay here. We love it. This is our second time this month."
"I didn't personally stay here since I live about an hour away and could easily drive to JC. However my family needed a place to stay for my wife's graduation from ETSU Graduate School and since the Nascar race in Bristol was the same weekend, the rates at this hotel (and others) was unrealistically high. I paid almost $360 for one single night, which is just ridiculous. That would be my only complaint. There weren't many hotels left available, and out of all the ones that were this Courtyard seemed to be decent. My family didn't have any issues! I visited the room and it was very nice, and easily one of the most spacious hotel rooms I've ever seen for just a king room. It had a large bathroom, nice walk-in shower, and they raved about the bed and pillows being great. Very nice sitting area and office space too. No free breakfast at this hotel which was a letdown, but several places within walking distance that were really good. Overall, the room was exactly what they had hoped for and needed, plus a lot more. Great location too, with easy access to ETSU and plenty of stores/restaurants nearby too. If the price isn't sky high out the roof, I'd highly recommend this hotel."
"We had a large group of family staying here last weekend. We were all in town for my father's funeral. The staff were all amazing, clean rooms and the perfect location. They had a beautiful lobby and meeting room we used for family and friends to gather in after the funeral service. All the staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. We are already planning to use this hotel this Fall for my sister's wedding. A big thanks to all the staff and to Steve, the GM, who helped us with the room block. Looking forward to our next stay!"
