"Been vacationing here once or twice a year since it opened in 2004. This is our favorite Marriott location. It is well maintained with very friendly, helpful staff who never pass you by without saying hello or waving if in a golf cart. Any minor issues with the villa have been taken care of within minutes of calling. Pools are well maintained and heated when necessary. The week we were here the ocean temperature was 82 degrees. They are following all covid protocols with one person or family in the elevator at one time. During the week we encountered no issues with this requirement. The poolside bar was open with friendly efficient bartenders. We did use the Sand Dollar concession for lunch a few days. Pool chairs were spaced out with plenty of social distancing available. Already have reservations for next year."
"I stayed here for five nights in a two bedroom, ocean view apartment on the 12th floor. The apartment was very clean, the bedding is very luxurious. You can order bar drinks and food. Bring your own chairs for the beach because a vendor on the beach rents them for $45 per day. There are cubicles down by the beach to store your beach umbrellas and chairs. You are within walking distance of a few great restaurants if you do not want to get in the car. You can walk on the beach for miles and the beach is so well maintained. There are 3 televisions in a two bedroom apartment, full kitchen, washer/dryer. The staff was very helpful and always pleasant. There is daily live entertainment by the pool."
"On the Sunday night of checking in, my wife broke her foot on the protruding chair leg of a chair that sits in the middle of the living room floor. Urgent Cares were closed, so called front desk for E.R. recommendation. The polite girl had no idea, so directed my call to Security. No answer. We found an ER for X-rays and to close the fracture. No follow up from front desk. Next day called front desk and asked management to call our room as I wanted to at least suggest they have a health emergency protocol. Manager didn’t return my call, but sent a security person that requested that We Fill Out an Incident Report. We checked out early as we could not use the beach or even get to it. We have visited this resort several times, and will return again. Hopefully you won’t need the support from management."

"Yesterday 9/26/20 Charlotte turned what could have been a horrible first stay experience into a pleasant one. I purchased a room with two queen beds through Priceline. I paid Priceline a $30 resort fee. Upon check in, we were asked to pay an additional resort fee of $18. Without question or discussion we paid the fee. When we arrived in the room there was only one (king) bed. I immediately returned to the front desk and explained that I had booked a double room. Unfortunately Priceline had sent over accommodations for a king room instead of two queens. An unnamed front desk clerk stated that the hotel was full and the only thing the hotel could do, would be to give us a cot. Thankfully for us, we were being assisted by Charlotte. Charlotte took the time to look in the system and upgraded our room to a two bedroom. She went above and beyond to make our first experience at the Marina Inn the best it could be and for that I am grateful. Thank you Charlotte for delivering the perfect experience! Oh yeah, my husband and I have decided to return for 4 night in Oct for our anniversary."
"We have stayed here about 4 times, this was the first time that I received such rude customer service. Booked the same room I always book but upon going to room it had an exterior entrance. Went back in to another clerk (rude one) to change room she said wait I didn't help you the first time, asked the bellman did we do anything to the room like we weren't standing there, we didn't even get to room as soon as I saw it was outside we turned around. Rude clerk mumbling something about I had gotten an upgrade, totally untrue, then told me that all she had was first floor and I said fine. Got to room the waterway view was more of a shrubbery view. Called back down and same clerk said to me "I told you that's all I had" I said okay waited a few minutes and called back for manager. Somehow rude clerk was told I wanted manager and miraculously a room on the 4th floor became available was told it was meant for someone that was checking in the next day but would give it to me! Also, the sheets in the second bedroom were ripped all across the top never seen this before at this hotel, housekeeping had to see this when changing the linens."
"We booked a 3 bedroom suite with two other couples for a little weekend getaway. The suite was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The beds were amazing - I did not want to get out of bed! I am really cautious where I stay right now and this room was spotless so it made me feel very comfortable. The pool area is a little piece of paradise. It was chilly while we were there but we enjoyed the hot tub! We had a delicious breakfast in the restaurant one morning and enjoyed fresh coffee in the lobby cafe. Great location, Ruth's Chris is right next door, The Carolina Opry and Pirate's Voyage are right across the street, boat rentals right outside the back door, and a shuttle to their luxurious beach club if you are staying in season. Can't say enough about our weekend, already planning another one with the kids! (There is an indoor pool to keep my kids busy!)"

"Who ever designed this site knew what they were doing. Our room and our friends who were on other floors, all had a great view. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would like to thank Sandy in the dining room, she was exceptional with her service and even though we were there only a week by the third day she automatically knew what beverages we wanted without asking, always with a smile. And Marvin the chef making the personalized omelets always friendly, easy to talk with while he prepared my breakfast. On the last day, I changed it to the waffles, what a delight with fresh strawberries and no calorie real whipped cream! I didn't get the hostess' name but she also had that smile that made us feel welcomed, if we came in separately she was quick to make mention of other souse and where they were sitting. Sandy, Marvin and the hostess were the heart of Seawatch as far as we were concerned and hope if we return next March we will see them every morning. "
"Great 4-day stay with 18 other adult friends sharing 2-bedroom units on various floors then meeting in larger 3-bedroom for fellowship, worship and prayer. Staff very accommodating, fresh towels daily and tidying rooms. Very restful and enjoyable viewing the ocean from 14th floor. Had breakfast one morning at hotel buffet. Marvin made the best omelets! What an outgoing, joyful cook. Has worked there 13 years and loves it. He delights to serve you your heart's desire. Highly recommend. Come hungry."
"I mI had a wonderful stay at Seawatch this past October. The location of the facility is top notch being less than a few minutes Walmart,Krogers and Tanger Outlets. The facility is huge with plenty of space to separate great if you are concerned of COVID. Numerous pools, lazy river, hot tubs. A beautiful beach one of the best on the East Coast.It is clean and well kept.It is well managed and the people are extremely friendly. It is the best in Myrtle Beach."

"We have been staying at Ocean Creek for over ten years and have never had any issues. In Sept of 2020 our trip was like the rest of 2020. The first 3 days were horrible. It started with the first condo and the smell from the refrigerator -the night crew quickly gave us another room. The second room was on the 3rd floor with a broken elevator but we moved in by midnight. The second night the batteries died in our lock and we spent two hours waiting for the locksmith. The third day Casey heard our story and moved us to another location with a great view and we finished our 2 week stay in a beautiful condo.Casey then checked on us several times through out the week to ensure our vacation was awesome. We can not thank her enough for her compassion and customer service ."
"Have been to Ocean Creek Resort 25+ times over the last 15 years. Always have a wonderful time whether staying in the Lodges, Golf Villa's or in the Towers. Entire resort, both rooms and grounds are very well-kept and pleasant. The location is perfect for getting to any golf course or restaurant you'd like to visit. Most importantly, Sabrina and her Staff go out of their way to do whatever they can to help make your stay enjoyable. Their attention to detail is superb ! Can't wait to go back !!!"

"I just want to take time out to tell you how overly pleased we were with this stay. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves at this resort from our check-in process with Ikea who deserves a noble prize for her amazing hospitality. Recognizing us as Diamond members from beginning to end made us feel exceedingly welcomed. I listened to her check in the guest in front of me, and she amazed me even then. She was extremely helpful and pleasant. You need 10 more of her. Thank you gotta wonderful time, our room OMG SO RELAXING. 2202, A+, thank you! We can't wait to visit again for our 13 year anniversary."
"This hotel is below Hilton standards. I always choose Hilton any where I go because I usually have a great experience. I did my research and looked through photos and thought this hotel would be nice for a weekend getaway. I was sadly mistaken. The lobby was beautiful but the room was terrible. Renovations should have happened 10 years ago. The bathroom and tub were not the cleanest and was so tiny I could barely turn around. There was a leak from the tub that had the wood under the bathroom door totally eaten/rotted away. The curtains did not work and were stuck on the track. There was white build up around the sliding glass door, and the door was hard to open. The furniture on the balcony was filthy and I could make no use of it. Could not enjoy the outdoor view. The carpet was dirty and gave the room a terrible smell. Don’t even try to use the coffee maker, it was filthy and the tray had old crumbs/ dirt from the previous tenant. The restaurant was not opened during the time printed on the room service card, so I was not able to utilize this at all. This place is just old old old and not worth the money spent or the resort fee. This did not feel like a resort at all. It felt like I was at a motel. I won’t be returning here and would not recommend to anyone else. "
"We decided to spend 4 days in Myrtle Beach and our travel agent recommended the Hilton Myrtle Beach resort! This resort has been absolutely phenomenal! all of the staff from the shuttle drivers to the valet the front desk and breakfast service have been top notch! our valet actually had our car waiting for us the day we were leaving before we even requested it! The shuttle drivers were awesome and took us to all the places with a smile and good laugh! Food was great. the view was amazing. Would stay again a million times!"

"My girlfriend and I stayed the last weekend in February. Hotel was conveniently located to all of Myrtle Beach. The room was clean and the staff was amazing. Jerome in the breakfast area was phenomenal. He greeted us both mornings and came to make sure everything was fine. He was knowledgeable of the area and had great recommendations. We will be returning and highly recommend for your stay."
"Clean and comfortable. Quick family getaway with grown children and grandkids. 13 of us in all. A tip of the hat to Jerome, who ran the breakfast operation. Jerome was very attentive to the customers and provided suggestions on what sights to see and the like. My only complaint was that the indoor pool was out of service to to a maintenance issue. Something about the contractor hasn’t completed whatever they had to do."
