"Despite the location, it is very hard to operate. The atmosphere, lighting, and environment make people feel very comfortable and at ease. Pienza has left a very good impression for us because of this hotel."

Via Dante Alighieri 7 (Check-in at Via Poliziano 23), San Quirico d'Orcia, Tuscany, Italy
"We stayed here from one night in October. We arrived really late and in a rain storm, the lady on reception (on another street a short walk away) was very friendly when I phoned and directed me to reception. She also let us borrow an umbrella to walk to the hotel/room. The room itself was a good size and clean. The electricity supply was odd and hence a shortage of plug sockets - this is a historic building and it to be expected. The common area in the building was cosy and had coffee/tea making capabilities. Optional breakfast was typical of Italy and was nice. We arrived by car and parked in the free carpark outside the town walls (5 mins walk), there was plenty of space but this may be different in peal tourist season. Would stay again if in the area."

Loc. Casabianca, Asciano, Tuscany, Italy
"We had heard about how special a Tuscan wedding could be but this was so much more than we ever thought possible. The Borgo came alive when our 95 guests arrived to a most romantic setting (like Mama Mia but in Tuscany). The Borgo is large enough so that all the guests stayed on the same premises creating a very intimate feeling. It also helped that the weather was on our side and we were able to enjoy the outdoors. But very importantly we were spoiled by Ana Maria who did not know what else to do in order to make this a perfect Tuscan wedding, thank you so much Ana Maria we are so grateful for all you did for us. The food was beyond our expectations, congratulations to the chef and the service (Alessandro) was simply tops."
"Our family had a wonderful experience at Casa Bianca! Our apartment rooms were very spacious and quite comfortable for our family of 6. Waking up to views of the Tuscan countryside with windows wide open and a breeze blowing through were exactly like we had hoped it would be. After stays in big cities around Europe it was very relaxing to stay at Casa Bianca. We’d love to return again someday!!"
"We had our wedding at the Borgo - could not be more happy with the overall experience. Annamaria and her staff were outstanding - it exceeded all expectations! the food was excellent and the place was fantastic. All of our guests raved about the Borgo and the experience. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a visit or to have your event there."

Località Armena, Buonconvento, Tuscany, Italy
"This hotel is like a small manor without a car, don't book it because there is no public transportation to reach the hotel. There is no restaurant. We arrived at 7:00 pm. Because we didn't book dinner at the hotel in advance, we can only drive to the town below the mountain. The road at night is also very dark...but it’s good to be in the natural environment. It’s good to go in the morning and meet the pheasant. It’s not bad to go through the breakfast on the road. It’s not a weekend. So no one has seen the service staff is a grandmother and front desk and service staff. So basically there is no service in the room, disposable slippers can not be equipped or even passed through... In short, it is a very quiet little manor. If you spend a few days on a pure holiday to enjoy the quiet Italian rural life, you can consider it. There are stars all over the night and a passionate kitten accompanying you."

Strada Provinciale 62, 24, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Tuscany, Italy
"We stayed at Villa Curina for 8 days in the first half of August and still feel the benefit of the holiday a month later. The resort is small, intimate, immaculately cared for and very friendly. Staff were welcoming and never failed to give good advice on activities in the area, including restaurants besides the good facility on site (Il Convito di Curina). We had a comfortable suite with plenty of space but this isn't really necessary because so much time is spent outdoors. The pool area is lovely and there was ample space for residents even with covid restrictions. Knowing Tuscany well, we devoted most of our stay to relaxation in the hotel, but it's also a great location for exploring both Chianti and the the hilly area south of Siena (Le Crete). Given its location and facilities, it's probably not the best place for families looking for activities for their children - but is outstanding for couple on an romantic break. We can't recommend the hotel too highly and look forward to returning."
"We just took a 12 day trip to Italy and we stayed in 5 different hotels. All of others were 5 star so perhaps that is why we felt some disappointment. The grounds are spectacular, the staff could not be nicer, and the restaurant was top notch. No complaints about breakfast either. The main issue was the rooms. They were full of bugs and there were several maintenance issues we had to address. They were very attentive and even offered to switch our rooms because our children’s room was so hot. We had already unpacked so we did not move but what was odd was that they could not provide is a fan to make things better. Because we had bothered them so much about the maintenance issues we felt bad mentioning the bugs but we literally found 15-20 in each room. We had a lot of luggage and it was hard to get it all up and down the stairs. The woman who worked the front desk offered to help us but it was too much and too heavy for her. The porter was not on duty so this poor girl was supposed to help us with the bags, which we could not do to her. We found the rooms we had to be tight and hot. The living room in our villa was very cool so we asked them to set up the sofa bed in there, and they couldn’t. Why? Because no housekeeping was available and the mattress was not on the bed. They did their best to make it a pleasant stay but for us, the beauty of this place, and even the service, did not make up for how uncomfortable we were here,"
"I have to say that we were very impressed with Villa Curina. The Villa was exceptionally kept, the room was spacious, clean and with the most amazing views you can as for. The food at the restaurant was very well prepared and the service was beyond professional and accommodating. Breakfast was well executed, balanced and plentiful. Our stay was so delightful that we plan to return to the region just to stay a couple of more days at Villa Curina."
