This is the best resort in the world, at least where I've been. The grounds are wonderful, even a little farm with goats, and we even picked fresh figs there. The rooms are great. We splurged on the very best suite, the Suite Romani! It was not that expensive. It came with free Aire spa every day, which is wonderful, and free breakfast in our package. The breakfast buffet is the best I've had. The two other restaurants for lunch and dinner are 5 star! Our suite had two floors connected by a spiral staircase, a living room, a 4 poster bed, and a huge private patio! The staff were so nice!

My daughter and I took a much-needed rest here, lying by the pool and watching the butterflies on the lavender, swallows flitting high in a perfect blue sky. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The AIRE thermal baths are fabulous too. Highly recommend it🌞

Reviews From Real Travelers
It is with considerable disappointment that I pen this review. Our experience at SANT JORDI, a purported 5-star property, fell drastically short of our expectations and has left us questioning the credibility of its rating. Upon our late-night arrival, we were eager to unwind and revel in the luxury amenities, especially the bathtub, which was a pivotal factor in our selection of this hotel. However, the excitement quickly morphed into disillusionment when we encountered a large, unsightly brown stain on the side of the bath, resembling feces. This egregious lapse in cleanliness prompted immediate communication with the reception, an interaction we hadn’t anticipated. Our subsequent meticulous inspection of the room uncovered more shortcomings: black mold inhabited the shower area, posing a severe health and safety risk. Furthermore, the water tap, when operated, emitted a noise so intrusive that it had the potential to disrupt the slumber of other guests within proximity. These occurrences were not only inconvenient but also reprehensible, considering the supposed standing of the hotel. Our concerns, articulated at check-out, were met with assurances of a full refund for the inconveniences suffered. Despite this promise, the refund is yet to materialize, adding to our grievances. Our stay at SANT JORDI was marred by unacceptable cleanliness standards, glaring maintenance oversights, and unfulfilled promises, all incongruent with the hotel's purported stature. We left feeling deceived and distressed, far from the rejuvenating experience we sought. It's imperative for prospective guests to approach with caution and for the management to institute immediate rectifications, lest the hotel’s reputation suffers irreversible damage. Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆

Sant Jordi Boutique Hotel Excellent location, Excellent Staff and Friendly Staff The rooms were well kept and cleaned every day. The Gym and Spa were also very well maintained and a very welcome addition. This is a hotel for those looking for a more individualized touch as opposed to just a place to stay. I would highly recommend it as well as Stay there again. should I return to Calella

We love Arenys de Mar and usually opt for an apartment stay. We wanted to relax before our son's wedding so chose Vila Arenys. The staff are extremely helpful. My husband needed his waistcoat tailored and Maria insisted in coming with us to help with the communication with the sastre. Room was really comfortable and we slept well. Location was very central and easy to get to from the station. The Chocolat is amazing and the coffee is the best for miles around. Arrived as travellers and left as friends.

The hotel is quite far from Barcelona, but there is a metro within a 10-minute walk, which takes you directly to the center. Near the hotel in 5-7 minutes there are many different restaurants, as well as a large grocery store. I did not like that the adjacent area was not cleaned, but the rooms themselves are comfortable. Also the price of the rooms is low. On the roof there is a chic veranda. It was very hot in the hotel itself because of the decision of the European Commission to save gas. It is advisable to leave the common area as soon as possible. Also, be careful with the elevator, it can suddenly close and not respond to obstacles in the form of a leg, trying to push it to the end.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and well maintained. The common area in the lobby (lounge) was nice but very hot and uncomfortable to enjoy. Close to stores, the beach and public transportation

I have given 4 stars to this hotel as it is a 3 star hotel so my expectations were not high. However we had a large room and bathroom fortunately on the quiet side of the hotel. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The colour scheme in our room may not have been my taste but we only really used the room for sleeping however we had a lovely roof terrace and drank coffee outside in the morning. Unfortunately we could only do this for 2 mornings. Although we had a coffee machine the cups and pods were only provided for 2 days and then taken away! The room was clean and had everything you might need . We found out there was free drinking water downstairs near the end of our stay and the internet was excellent. If we return we will take our own cups and kettle for tea or coffee.

When I arrive in the room at night, it's quite dark, the equipment is quite refreshing and this doesn't make it think of a 3*. rather a small 2*. On a half-storey street with the trailer at the height of the torso. A barrel window and a fine grilling that must serve as a closed antimustics of the same view. The beds are comfortable (and they are) but, however, only the toothbrush offered in a disposable plastic gobelet allows to understand may be how it managed to set up a 3rd star. But the picture will turn completely to the nightmare when I'll bear a round of sleep that it really makes very cold (and quite wet), that the air conditioned, whose electronic circuits are seen from the control box, does not work. I add the two summer covers but with the noise of the ventilation of the Sdb that you can't shut down, I put again 2 hours to sleep roughly, (and yet being a good sleeper) Bref, the Llar hotel of captains is running, Then, as Ulysse had to flee the song of the sirens (of the 3*). Many of them have done it, at least this evening there was no crowd! After having had the director at the phone, she denied everything in a block, I just said I'd have called because there's a service 24/24 at the phone, and that she could have changed my room. She should simply not use this room. Or repair it. I was offered a coffee in a small compensation after I insisted Heavy.

The hotel is a good experience for the tranquility and care of the details of this structure. We have enjoyed it little because it is a pass, but I would like them for a few days. Beautiful full room of every comfort, the bathroom with large walking shower, perfect air conditioning, outdoor area with pool and quiet, attached bar/restaurant where we eat very well.

If you are here for a business trip and you have a car is the place to stay. Great terrace, clean rooms and good location. Decoration is classy and breakfasts generous. The pool area is socio us and the location and views are great. Walking distance to the town and 20 min to the beach by food.

Unusual experience last night at the Fonda Europa. After a hard day's work and after having something to eat, I go to Reception to be assigned the room that I had reserved for days. The young receptionist looks stunned as he acknowledges my reservation but says it has been inexplicably canceled by he doesn't know by whom. A system failure that insists on deciphering uselessly for 50 minutes! until he gives up and decides to put me up in a room that luckily had been left free. He hands me the electronic card for room 212. I head exhausted after the desperate wait but the door does not open. I go downstairs, tell him and with a certain snub he accompanies me but he can't open it either. He goes up and down a couple more times until 20 minutes later he manages to open it. At 1:15 in the morning I finally get into the damn room and fall asleep. At 7 I get up and decide to take a shower but the hot water doesn't come out. Incredulous and stupefied, I go to reception to complain and settle the bill. They apologize for the inexperience of the night manager and in a fit of generosity he says that they will keep the original price of my reservation -110 €!- and that they invite me to breakfast. ”No, thanks. I'm in a hurry” and I rush out never to return.
