"We stayed one night before our cruise and would highly recommend this hotel. I didn't realize there was an airport shuttle so don't make that mistake. Even so, an Uber ride was 15 min from the airport and 10 min to the cruise port. Very contemporary decor and friendly staff. Outstanding Concierge Lounge and service. I'm forgetting the young man that staffed the Concierge Lounge in the evening but he's a credit to the Marriott brand. The food was also top notch - tasty and inventive for both evening and breakfast. Had dinner at Toro and really enjoyed that meal and service. Only negative is that there isn't much you can walk to, but for us we had everything we needed on property. Well done and we'll be back!"
"What was a two night stay turned into a one night bad experience. Night six of what was to be a seven night trip. It took two people to check me I and all that I asked for was a quiet room. Checked into 921. Then went out for dinner. Left $5 on bed for an extra blanket and asked front desk to have housekeeping person take the money. When I returned, they had left two sheets. Not good. Platform bed with very soft pillows. Room close to I-95, but quiet. Bathroom nice size, but water goes off with a delay. Shower fine. A/c in ninth floor hallway failed. 90 degrees and 90 % humidity. I complained and nothing done. Room could not get cold. Maybe 68 at best. A/c kept going on and off all night, even though I tried to set it as on. No bottled water in room. Breakfast in concierge area was meager. No breads, bagels. You had to ask for toast. Dumb. I came down next morning to speak to a manager about blanket and a/c issues. Front desk person refused to get manager. I complained and she said sorry. When I returned to hotel after a morning meeting, I decided to get out. Another front desk person could not find my package that had been delivered to the hotel it turned out on Saturday. When my office called with a tracking number a short while later, box was found(after I left). Dumb. When I went to check out, original front desk person from this morning was there. I said to her that when bad things happen, the hotel offers points or a discount. She said that she spoke with a manager, but that she is not authorized to do anything. I just looked at her and left. Dumbest. No customer should be treated this way. Too many things went wrong for this to be an isolated experience. Scratch Le Meridien chain from my list of acceptable accommodations."
"Booked an overnight stay before a cruise. New property near the airport. Abosolutey beautiful lobby and bar area. The floor illustrates the names of the canals in Ft Lauderdale. Staff was friendly and helpfull. We checked in a bit early but didn't have to wait. Room was comfortable and clean. The view from our room was of the pool. Unfortunately it was a rainy day so we were not able to lounge out there. Had lunch in the cafe, a delicious short rib meal. The next morning we had a short ride to the port. Le Meridien will be our place to stay when cruising from Port Everglades. "

"My review is based upon me being a travel agent and staying at a variety of hotels and resorts ranging from 2 to 5 stars on a bi monthly basis. I attempted to work with Wyndham in an afford to avoid leaving a review however the company appears to not care about its guests. I booked through Hotwire due to the hotel rates being sky high in the area for the night. The reviews seemed mostly positive so I make the wrong decision to book. From my experience I arrived at the front desk and.was charged a whopping $175 deposit ($250 if you're paying with cash) for a one night stay in a ********** pimp filled hotel. My spouse and I was there celebrating our anniversary. I arrived at my room 213 on the 2nd floor, noticed large pieces of trash thrown all up and down the hall. The worst area was right in front of housekeeping 🙄. Overall the hotel design, furniture and lobby looked okay and I have no complaints about the room. We ran out for dinner and came back and there were two attractive **********s with really short dresses and under the influence of something (the entire hotel floor smelled like marijuana) asked my guy if we wanted to make tonight a really good night...he turned down the proposition however you could hear noise in the halls all night with that type of activity and faintly hear sex taking place. Between the **********s, pimps and the loud noise from street traffic I was unable to enjoy the comfort of much needed sleep. At checkout I asked for my checkout reciept and the agent declined stating that I booked through a third party so I wouldn't get one. I normally book through a third party and have never had an issue getting a checkout reciept. I have real time banking so I noticed the very next day that my deposit authorization hadn't been released. This was strange because I was there less than 10 hours and only attempted to rest and left from there. I didn't order anything or make room charges. I called the hotel to inquire about the deposit and was told to call later. I called Corporate who seemed concerned and promised someone would reach out 3 to 5 days. I also called accounting at the hotel and left 3 seperate voicemail over the span of 5 days without a response. It is now day #6, funds not released and my complaint about the conditions at the hotel hasn't been addressed. I called the hotel once again and a lady was very rude when she advised that I should've seen the sign that says the hotel will hold the funds for up to 5 days. In my opinion this is a hotel that regularly hosts **********s, thugs, pimps and the like. They were everywhere hanging around the outside and inside of the hotel on a Saturday night. If you're into that sort of thing then this is the place. Ladies be careful because they propositioned my guy right in front of me and most men would've taken them up on their offer because of how shapely and somewhat attractive they were...like I said "if" they are into that stuff. I'm a travel agent and.in my opinion all st"
"Exceptional attention, the hotel is really nice, secure parking, an incredible pool on the 3rd floor, Daniela check us in, she was amazing, she really knows what customer service is about, Mareeka took care of our morning talk with her recommendations on the area, restaurants and activities, after a few days we felt like home!! Thanks so much."
"I expected a substandard hotel that close to the airport, and geared toward folks waiting to get on their cruiselines. But it was a very nice hotel space with convenient parking, and a short ride from the beach and a great local bar."

"The hotel was a four star hotel but after being here 2 months things are getting worse the elevator doesn’t work so having to wait in the smaller one that only fits three people is extremely inconvenient and they don’t clean the rooms they way they should"

"We stayed here 1 night before our cruise and chose it because of the location (close to airport with free shuttle), and because it had a 2 bed + sofa bed suite. Unfortunately the airport shuttle takes a while to get to the hotel because it is constantly trying to pick up other arriving guests. The room, although fine for 1 night, had small beds and the sofa bed could only fit 1 person. Location-wise, it was close to a McDonald's and Burger King, which is good as breakfast wasn't included in our rate. We also walked a bit further south to the Oakwood plaza where there was a Big Lots to pick up some last minute items. We didn't use their cruise port shuttle for $10pp as they only offered 2 departure times (9:45 and 11:45am). Ended up taking uber for $18 (which was a better deal as there were 3 of us). Overall decent hotel for 1 night before cruise."
"We were so relieved that Kishawna Edwards was so helpful when we realized that we didn't have our luggage tags. She was alone at the front desk yet still managed to print out new tags for us. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and provided a shuttle to the port. We stayed there one night before our cruise and one night after. Both days they were very accommodating taking in our luggage so that we could wander in the area with many stores and restaurants close by. The rooms were large, clean and well equipped!"
"The hotel and location was great. However, the customer service that was provided made my stay worth staying extra days. There's a staff member by the name of Candy who treated my friends and I like we were VIP guests. She was very friendly and knowledgeable of the hotel and she also made great recommendations for local dinning spots. I'm looking forward to coming back and I hope to experience Candy's customer service again. Thank you Hilton Garden inn for the great customer service!"

"It is close to the airport and there is a 24-hour shuttle bus. It is convenient if you have to catch an early flight or a red-eye flight. The interior of the room is also very neat and spacious, and the bathroom is also very clean."
"By the way, don't care"

"The hotel is fine. But as I found everywhere I went in Florida, that most of the staff was in training, and incompetent. I called for the free shuttle waited an hour called again waited an hour and finally paid to get to the hotel. I questioned the shuttle driver and he said the front desk never informed him of a pickup. That was the first of quite a few bad experiences I had at this hotel. Hopefully they will get staff trained and service will improve. But I won’t be staying here again."
