Hütten 37, Leogang, Salzburg, Austria
"This hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Secret Pine Forest Suite and had our own private sauna, balcony and log burning fire and beautiful hanging bed. Everything was so clean and smelled gorgeously of fresh wood and herbs. From the warm reception welcome to the custom drinks service at the bar the staff were incredible. The free pick up service from the local station to the hotel made arriving by train super stress free and convenient. The food in the morning and the evening is exquisite - always so fresh with such playful and incredible flavours. We would’ve had to pay twice the price for such quality food in London. The spa facilities were absolutely spotless and so relaxing and beautiful. We also enjoyed an amazing massage with personalised oils made from herbs gathered on the mountain and prepared in the hotel. The scenery is stunning, a breathtaking mountain paradise. We had the most perfect, special holiday for my girlfriend’s birthday (we were given free cocktail vouchers to celebrate). This hotel cannot be rated high enough."
"Spent 3 nights here mainly to ski and take advantage of spa/activities. The location and hotel/property are excellent as you're up the mountain a bit and 'away' from it all. Perfect ski-in/ski out and facilities for everything (yoga, spa, gym, bar). Room was great and overall service was excellent. The only thing that needs improvement is the meal situation as it was consistently 'chaotic' and not very well serviced. Food itself was fine but the fact that it's a hybrid-buffet and only during certain times made it so that wait staff wasn't really able to handle drink order and serving meals was slow and not good on the nights it wasn't full buffet. Having to go thru that every night and even a bit in the a.m. for breakfast seems like something they should be able to solve and given the rates everyone's paying at this hotel isn't something you should have to deal with. But, overall it's a very good place and would recommend it for a very civilized 'mountain break' or ski-holiday in Austria."
"Firstly, let me say, the location is wonderful. Right on the side of the mountain, could not ask for better. We chose this hotel as their website claimed that they catered for vegans. Being a vegan, it sounded like a trouble free holiday. The reality was that they were not prepared for vegans. Their menu contains one vegan meal and 5 non vegan. The assumption that all vegans have identical taste and would want the same meal is ludicrous. To be fair to the hotel, after complaining, the kitchen did offer us additional choices. This was appreciated. However, the choices often did not constitute a meal, more a side. Such meals were a plate of broccoli with greens and a plate of mashed potatoes with 8 broad beans. Also, we got very excited one day as we were offered seitan sausages, which we assumed would be homemade. The sausages turned out to be shop bought. Overall the hotel has so much potential. They need a chef that can actually cook vegan food and the hotel needs to live up to its marketing!"

Griesenauweg 26, Kitzbuhel, Tyrol, Austria
"First of all, I would like to say that I love travelling and especially staying in luxury hotels, therefore I do have a good knowledge on what 5 stars hotels are and should be like, furthermore the services, the comfort, the professionality and simply the standards they should provide. Also, in this review I'm just reporting the big events/things and I am omitting on the many little things, otherwise it really gets long. I planned a vacation with my family in Austria-Bavaria. I found Terrenhof hotel which was in a good location for our plans and from the pictures it looked very nice. In addition, it also had the Leading Spa Resort award which really made me want to go there. As soon as we arrive our expectations got broken. Despite the reception girl was very polite, the service was clearly lacking of experience and simply rationality. With a bit of unnecessary confusion, we get accompanied to the rooms via an ugly and dated elevator that then was followed by a not much nicer corridor. We finally got to our rooms but the situation did not get any better. Despite we got an upgrade, the rooms looked not like the pictures. They were way uglier, looked very dated and were just not comfortable -at least not the comfort you expect from a 5 star hotel...they looked more like a 3 star-. The toilets were bad. Incredibly not functional and simply not nice. Me and my family felt very lied to. In the pictures the hotel looked really nice and with a touch of traditional Austrian culture but in the reality it seemed more like a 3 star hotel with a nice entrance. I guess they have the best photographer ever and that he only takes pictures at the presentable areas omitting every single ugly element. Very disappointed we decide to try their “rewarded” spa. Again, one more dated area that was not kept in good conditions and clearly needed renovation works. I could not believe that this spa got any kind of rewards. Apart from the things I just described, there was no one working full time there, their steam room was made of the ugliest plastic, there were dirty towels everywhere and to be honest it didn’t have many services. I have been to so many very beautiful spas and none of them has rewards and it’s just crazy for me to think that this one does and that the hotel literally writes in any place possible that they have this Leading Spa Resort award -even on the breakfast menu..................-. As if this was not enough, on the morning I decided to go back there and do a bit of sauna. As I enter i see that everything was shut down -and the facility rooms didn’t even look like they have been cleaned-. I then went upstairs to the reception only wearing a towel since, as I previously stated, there is no one working full time at the spa to ask for explanations and I get told that they turn on the spa facilities only from 4pm but that, since I requested it, they would have send someone to turn them on. I was just shocked. They write about the spa everywhe"
"We recently returned from a weeks stay at the Tennerhof for a hiking holiday in Kitzbuhel. The hotel staff are all so friendly and could not have been more helpful during our stay. The room was lovely and spacious and always so clean. The only suggestion we would have is the pillows were not very firm at all. We stayed on a half board basis and the evening meals were all amazing and everything was delicious. The restaurant staff would happily offer alternatives to anything that wasn’t to your taste and we always left feeling stuffed! Breakfast was great too with a large continental selection and options to order cooked items as well. The spa was also very clean we used both the indoor and outdoor pools during our stay and the hot tub to rest our legs after a days hiking! The location is fairly central only a 5 minute walk to the town centre and easy access to the main cable cars. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Kitzbuhel. "
"I stayed with my wife for the weekend. The staff were so nice, courteous and attentive The room and the spa were also excellent and pleasant. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with an amazing variety of dishes. We had great dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and the Romerhof restaurant; both were delicious with attentive and professional waiters. Thé hôtel staff helped us to find an excellent ski guide (Tony from Snowsports) There is also a very convenient shuttle from the hotel to town which is also available for the ride back with a call to the hotel "

Kaiserstraße 18, Sankt Johann in Tirol, Tyrol, Austria
"My name is Anastasia, and I’m a world traveler. Visiting over 10 different countries per year and staying in a different hotels I must say that Bruggwirt hotel is one of the best places I ever been! Very nice style of the hotel, very classic and traditional. Everyone who work in a hotel trying to make your holidays unforgettable by always smiling, wishing you a good day, suggesting places to visit, helping with any issues you have! Great people with amazing attitude to work. Another important point - food at hotel. It’s more than amazing! Seriously... I could give a Michelin star to a chef. I would definitely suggest you to have dinner at hotel as its outstanding. Great choice of vegetables, salats, very delicious soups, great choice of main courses that includes meat, fish and vegetables (Incase you are vegetarian). Portions are very big and quality of food is very high. You can feel that every dish made with love as its very nicely decorated. Another point - deserts! Omg! They are incredible! Soooo yummy!!!! Location of the hotel is also great. It’s very close to station and anything you need located in a walk distance. Me and my family had an amazing holidays and for sure we will be back! I highly recommend you to book this hotel if you want to have an amazing time! P.S. we were leaving at 3am because we had early morning flight, manager of the hotel gave us a bag with some lunch that we could eat in a plane. ( how cute it is!) thank you thank you thank you! Austria is Love. With warm Regards and best Christmas Wishes! xxx Anastasia"
"We stayed here for a week in february 2109 with a group of friends and family on a ski holiday. There were 4 children among our party. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. The food at night for dinner and in the mornings for breakfast in the restaurant (we went half board) was really good every time. At breakfast there was a nice selection of fresh bread, coffees, teas, juice, meats, cheeses, eggs and bacon as well as a waffle maker which was a big hit with the kids. For dinner each night we had a choice of one meat, one fish and one vegetarian and kids choice as well. The hotel is really pretty and nicely decorated inside. our rooms were compact but nice. The main ski lift is just a short walk away and the ski bus picks up at the door. The hotel is nice and centrally located and near a Spar, Bila and coffee shops. There is a large supermarket and main bus stop is right behind. Also for kids there is the local swimming pool just a minute walk away from the hotel which was a big hit with the kids on the holiday as it had an outdoor heated pool as well as heated indoor pool and slides and diving boards. There is a nice quiet bar downstairs also which was nice if you would like to have a nightcap. The hotel provides you with the St johann card which gives you free travel on local buses and local "slow" trains. St Johann also has a train station that will bring you to Kitzbuel and zell am zee etc."
"We stayed in this hotel a fair few years ago (It think its had a facelift since) but regardless of this it was a great hotel when we stayed there. Last year we stayed in an Airbnb and decided to go out for a nice meal one eve and passed the Bruggwirt and decided it fitted the bill. We had an excellent meal there, only part way through realising it was the hotel we had stayed at previously. This year we returned to the Airbnb in St Johann and decided to return to the Bruggwirt for a meal. Again, it was excellent. The food is traditionally Austrian and delicious. The staff are very attentive and actually recognised us from the year before. I'd recommend this from past experience as a decent hotel to stay in. And I'd definitely recommend the restaurant if you're looking for someone to get a nice meal on St Johann."

Dorfstr. 192, Hinterglemm, Salzburg, Austria
"We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Edelweiss , and cannot recommend this hotel enough, with a central location , newly refurbished interiors giving a warm and cosy feeling, welcome after a long day on the slopes. The spa and pool area are a highlight and the bar and restaurant deliver. However the best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff and the service , from the moment we arrived they went above and beyond to make our stay successful assisting in ski passes, rental and advising on the best schnapps and local wine at the bar. Over and above the warm welcome and early morning coffee on our departure , my husband misplaced his wedding ring , and the staff went the extra mile to find the ring and have it returned to us in London. Thank you Hotel Edelweiss for a wonderful stay we will be back!"
"We had a great holiday skiing in Hinterglemm staying at the hotel Edelweiss. Astrid and Frank and Laurence ( in the bar ) were truly kind and professional. The room (111) was top quality. The atmosphere was always warm, friendly and you felt like you were at home. The facilities are super, ski locker, spa, pool, bar, restaurant and 20 metres from a T-bar life to take you up the blue slope and from there to anywhere you wished on your skis. Really ski in and ski out. We wish everyone staying here as happy a holiday as I had with my two boys. ( 14 & 16 ). Well done to everyone working at the Hotel Edelweiss. You are a credit to your industry. "
"Unusually for me I hadn't read any reviews before booking our holiday involving a weeks stay in this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived, to giving each guest a personal goodbye, the hotel owners and excellent staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained and the food excellent. It's quiet location is ideal for catching the local train and the Hahmenkamm cableway, and with just a five minute walk into the centre of the town. I would not hesitate to return or recommend others to stay and enjoy the warm hospitality."

Hahnenkammstraße 5, Kitzbuhel, Tyrol, Austria
"For us, there was nothing to dislike about this hotel. Stayed four nights and enjoyed every one. The hotel location was ideal and from our balcony we looked straight up at the Hahnenkamm cable car. Very large selection at breakfast and it would be easy to have a different combination every day. We only ate dinner in the hotel on our first night to try the chef 5 course that were very tasty. This is one of those hotels where you're happy to return to a welcoming base after a big day out, which is not always the case. Nothing more to say really. Food, location, staff, quality, all very good. If we return to Kitzbuehel, we'll return to the Kaiserhof. Thank you to the staff and management. And thanks to weather that was in our side all the days stayed."
"Everything is within walking distance of this lovely gem, yet the staff did everything in their considerable power to make my stay even easier and more pleasant. I stayed an extra night, changing rooms, which they did seamlessly. They all knew me by name, and treated me as a VIP (which I am not!). The food was fresh and creative and surprising - tiring of meat after several days, I had eggplant piccata which was divine. I came home in the afternoons a sweaty mess from coming down the Hahnenkamm, and walk just a few steps into heaven. I'd love to come back."
"Having travelled around the world in recent years, the Kaiserhof is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Staff very friendly and most helpful. Room immaculate. Breakfast and evening meals superb (recommend half-Board terms for 5-course dinner). Very conveniently located for both ski school and railway station (approx 200m uphill to hotel) as well as Hahnenkamm gondola lift. Town centre easy walking distance. Swimming pool adequate, 1.5 m depth approx throughout."

Josef-Pirchl-Straße 21, Kitzbuhel, Tyrol, Austria
"Stayed here on our Tui holiday September 2019. Instantly felt at home. We found it really comfortable, great facilities, fantastic food. But most of all, it was the staff who really made our holiday an extremely happy one. The reception staff were helpful and efficient. The cleaners were friendly and polite, and we never felt hassled to get out of our room. We like a lie in on holiday! The bar and restaurant staff were absolutely brilliant. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere in the restaurant and bar was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were charming and had a sense of humour. There is a small gym, two inside pools and an outdoor pool. Didn't brave that one! But the one with massage jets helped to ease aching muscles after days in the mountains. The only thing that could improve the hotel is a mini bar in the room. But then again, the bar area downstairs was just perfect for an afternoon beer or an after dinner drink. Kitzbuhel itself is lovely for walking and cycling. The shops are high end, but you can find more reasonable ones in nearby St Johann, a short bus ride away. I was so sad to leave this place, and hope to return. A big thank you to all the staff at Hotel Erika."
"We stayed here in the first week of February 2020. The hotel is in a prominent position in Kitzbuhel with easy access to the town centre (10 minute walk or shuttle bus to main ski lift). The staff were very friendly and accommodating from the moment of arrival to departure. The room we had was spacious and ornate with oak beams and other similar touches, and also a balcony with great views over Kitzbuhel. The food was delicious with four course meals each evening (in addition to the salad bar) with a varying menu throughout the week (including a vegetarian option). The breakfast was also excellent with a huge spread of meats, cereals, yoghurts and also cooked breakfast items. The restaurant staff were attentive and provided an excellent service. The spa facilities were also very good, with two saunas, a Turkish bath and steam room, all in a peaceful, relaxing setting. In addition there was also an indoor pool with massaging jets and a pool for children. There was also an outdoor swimming pool, though it was too cold to use in the winter (though some people went for a quick dip!). Overall a terrific experience and highly recommended. We hope to visit again soon!"
"My Husband and I have just spent a week at The Erica Hotel. Our experience was amazing. We had a junior suite it was just perfect. The evening dinner was just perfect wonderful choice and very special,as was afternoon tea. They have an indoor pool with doors opening out to sun loungers ,All their staff are excellent from the girls on reception wearing national costume,to the staff in dining room, special mention to the girl from Croatia, who was so helpful, telling us to go on train to Zell Am See,a very special place to visit we went their twice. Please try this special place you will just love it.Regards John And Jackie Scotland."
