"We stayed here twice — once in the late summer of 2021, and once again in January 2022 when we had to re-route the London leg of our trip due to new travel restrictions. Given how much we loved Baden-Baden and Roomers the first time, it was an easy decision to come back once the opportunity arose! Both times we stayed here, I booked a Deluxe Room, which is the cheapest room that contains a bathtub. I never got to experience that room, because both times we stayed, we got upgraded using Marriott Suite Night Awards to a Deluxe Suite, which is a massive 840 sq. ft. room with a dining area, living area, and powder room. They also honor the free breakfast benefit for Platinum Bonvoy members, and we took advantage of that every morning; the breakfast is a full buffet with a la carte options (like eggs and pancakes), and was pretty good. For our paid rate of ~220 EUR per night, these may have been the two best value hotel stays I’ve ever had. The room itself was finished nicely and well-maintained. The main bathroom had a separate toilet room with a bidet, a shower with maybe four shower heads, two sinks, and even a cool one-way exit door into the living room. We had great views of the Black Forest from our bedroom, which we loved waking up to. The only feedback I have here is that I wish it were clearer how to connect to the built-in ceiling speakers; we only figured out how to do this on our last night, and only in one room. (But also, it’s cool they even have built-in speakers, and they sounded much better than the portable one we brought for the rest of our trip.) Another highlight: the spa near the top of the hotel had a sauna with a panoramic view of the Black Forest, a hammam, steam room, hot tub, and even an ice niche in the shower that contained a bottle of vodka. There were lots of cute touches like that throughout the hotel. Given that you’re required to use the sauna in the nude, I do wish they made the entire bathing area of the spa a nude area (as is common in Germany), because it’s kind of annoying constantly having to change to visit a different room. All hotel guests get free unlimited access to the spa, and we visited at least once a day. The hotel restaurant, moriki, served a good breakfast, but we were underwhelmed by the dinner food, which is Japanese fusion. We might just have too-high standards for that cuisine as Californians, though. We mostly ate dinner around town, which has many great food options. Overall, our stay at Roomers Baden-Baden was incredibly memorable — both times — and we will definitely be back!" "This would easily have been a 1 star review, except for the remedy action taken by Ms Amamdine, front desk supervisor. Came here to celebrate my birthday, used my Bonvoy suite nites for Deluxe Suite, was accepted for it, flew 13 hours, drove 2 hours in the night, reachin hotel late only to be told by the checkin gentleman that my room was “downgraded” to a Select Suite. Was also informed that all 3 Deluxe Suites were taken by an Ambassador member, who was also a Lifetime Platinum. I hav been with Marriot 17 yrs & currently an Ambassador member with Lifetime Plat as well so naturally I am surprised to be belittled this way. If the suite nights were not accepted, I would have appreciated the upgrade as always. but tis action & the words used, attrocious & what a way to embark on my 49th birthday. Now the praises; Ms Amamdine came to me the next morning, spoke to me at length, apologised & changed my room back to a Deluxe Suite. You single handedly save this trip, & added 3 stars to my stay. Truly, a 3-star general in the Marriot setup. Thank you. Hotel wise, modern, nice breakfast, nice staff, a tag further from city centre but walkable if weather is right. Juz across is Mama Lina，nice Italian restaurant n a muz eat." "Stayed for two nights and was upgraded to a very comfortable junior suite (Suite #123). The room is well appointed and the bathroom is great - a large rain shower and bathtub plus nice bathroom amenities. Good Internet, large TV with international channels and nice little touches throughout the room which shows that someone was given the room set-up some thought. The roof top bar is good, service is adequate but because of the popularity of the bar you have to reserve a table early to avoid disappointment. The Japanese Restaurant Moriki is not a interesting as its' sister restaurant in Frankfurt am Main, but it is still a nice restaurant with excellent Japanese food. Service could probably be a bit faster but perhaps this was because of few large groups that dined at the time of our dinner. Breakfast is good and a nice selection of breakfast food is offered. Overall, a pleasant stay and we would return once we visit Baden-Baden again."

"This hotel in Baden-Baden lies just a few steps from the famous Caracalla Thermal Baths. It features free Wi-Fi in all areas and a traditional café and patisserie.
The rooms and suites offered by Hotel Beek come with cable TV and a minibar. Some rooms also have a balcony.
Breakfast is available each morning. The café serves a wide range of home-made cakes and pastries throughout the day.
The surrounding Black Forest is ideal for hiking and cycling. Neues Schloss Castle is just a 4-minute walk from the Beek ."
"Experience starting at check in was terrible. Person on night reception spoke very poor English. Couldn’t understand him. No hotel parking. Closest parking was 100 metres & no daily maximum. 1.5 Euro/hr. Cheaper parking was 300 metres at 20 Euro daily. No valet parking. No umbrellas available to borrow - only for purchase with cash. Couldn’t be charged to room. Cost was 7.50 Euro. It was a large golf size umbrella, which was nice, but unfortunately couldn’t take it home with us. Hotels should consider charging a deposit to use the umbrella or if purchase is required, the umbrella should be travel size. Room decor was historical. Large wardrobe in room rattled every time you walked in the room. Beds weren’t made. Duvet folded & put on top of bed. Felt like a dormitory. Beds uncomfortable. Minimal toiletries in bathroom. Water in faucet not drinkable (sign posted) & no bottled water provided. Wifi kept on cutting out. And you had to go through the entire sign-on procedure to login each time. Drapes didn’t close, making it difficult to sleep when daylight came. Breakfast selection & quality was adequate but nothing special. Gluten free bread is available upon request. Staff was pleasant. Hotel doesn’t have bellmen to help with luggage. Daria at reception for check out was very nice." "Had a two week holiday covering several locations in Germany, Baden-Baden was the last place we stayed in for four nights & this was the Hotel we stayed in. Baden-Baden is beautiful a very attractive spa town, which we enjoyed very much, sadly the hotel did not live up to our expectations. The public areas are pleasant enough our room 216 on the 2nd floor was absolutely awful, the smell was horrible, particularly in the cupboards. The room was full of moths and other bugs, the bed was horrendously uncomfortable and the room had cobwebs. The breakfast is rather basic and limited in choice. Finally although the location is fairly central in the old town it is impossible to get to by car, car parks are either expensive and reasonably close buy or reasonably priced but about a mile away and not ideal if you have luggage and the hotel do not offer to help. I would love to go back to Baden-Baden but not to this hotel. " "The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. The rooms are comfortable with good amenities although a kettle and tea or coffee would be welcome. The breakfast that was included was very, very good. Great selection of items and a lovely setting."
"We stayed at hotel Messmer over New Years 2021, and despite loving the area - we were very disappointed with the Messmer hotel. It’s clear that it used to be the grandest hotel in beautiful Baden-Baden, but is in dire need of an update and some modernizing. Their main sauna has fluorescent lighting (including what looks like a hole in the ceiling with a plastic light cover stuck on), no music and a generally no thought to create a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant decor and food is very reminiscent of a senior citizens dining hall. We had booked their “New Years dinner” and were so disappointed with the food and the service - which included a heavily saluted brown soup that was delivered in faulty towers style, with plates rattling at seismic pitch- that we ended up leaving three courses in to the 6-course meal. While the hotel manager did apologize and offer to book us somewhere else, which was not easy, on New Years Eve with no notice, - they ended up still trying to charge us for the full meal when we checked out! Overall: this hotel seems to cater to a much more elderly crowd, and maybe their target audience doesn’t mind / notice that the quality has slipped over the years. But for anyone who wants atmosphere and attention to detail- this is not the place to stay. " "We choose this hotel for the central location and for the SPA facilities. We were happy with the overall cleanliness and the space offered by the room, as well as the quality of the interior decoration. Also the location is very convenient, just few steps away from the city center. However, a bit disappointed about the service, which does not match the 5 stars ratings. Once arrived, no one offered us to bring luggage upstairs. At the question if I can book a SPA treatment, I have been told "we do not know - can you come back later" so ended up having no SPA treatment at all. At breakfast, the staff was just overwhelmed with the number of guests and we had to look after cutlery ourselves. Nor anyone of the staff cared to bring us napkins so we had to use our own...really annoying. So all in all...average experience and not definitely worth the price paid." "Very nice hotel to spend Christmas at. The staff is their best "feature": friendly, competent, quick, find solutions when needed. Breakfast is outstanding, quality and well staffed. The spa with pool and sauna (and other thingys we didn't try out) is also veeery nice. Michelin restaurant is supposedly (with kids it seemed a bit of a "throughaway") also above anything in the neighbourhood. The location at the absolut centre of classic Baden-baden is another plus worth mentioning. Book a cpl of days and enjoy."
"We travelled in July 2021 (sorry for late review!), as a 3 night getaway for my wife and I. This hotel makes you feel like you're stepping into the past (as a wealthy traveller!) from the moment you turn up, it is absolutely beautiful with ornate, period decor, outstanding old fashioned service (both very friendly and helpful, and extremely smart team). It's an oasis within the city, with beautiful gardens, terrace and sitting rooms where you can have tea/coffee and cake in front of a roaring log fire or at a shady table in the garden. Very tranquil and a real treat. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite (think it was Brahms?), with a jacuzzi...oh my god! Room was large, ornate and very clean, we loved it. Good breakfast too, and car parking is easy. The location is just right for walking into town or through the river valley/park. Thanks to all the staff, we loved it," "The main house is quite beautiful and charming. The welcoming was a bit „over“ as the behaved like superior houses. We had even to wait before someone showed us the way to our room. That person was not to engaged. He went upfront, didn’t talk and ask once and quickly „you get along with your suitcases“. The room is clean, but the ac old and not cleaned for a long time. As it is 38 degree - not really as fancy as the lobby. No hygienic gel offered or even on the room as in many three star houses and I did already knocked my head twice in the tiny room as the chandelier is at 1,70m and the usage of the restroom is only possible While seated. So in general. Nice main building, just a bit disappointed about the leaks in welcoming people. They ask for our names, had the wrong booking date, wrong duration, nominiert about the Tesla destination Charger i booked upfront and yeah - the tiny room. The pics are promising far more. So if you don’t look into Expedia pics but on TripAdvisor pics you’ll have the right expectation. " "Just an incredible hotel! This mansion! Room with antique furnishings, aristocratic even service, peace and quiet! The staff somehow improbably got into the room and prepared a bed for bed (were they guarding me while I went out into the city for 30 minutes?). Luxurious breakfast in the interior of the count's estate with a fireplace! 10 minutes walk to the casino and 15 to the term. Own parking (19 euro per night). Nice and reasonably priced minibar Highly recommend !!!!"
"Set in a private park in Baden-Baden, this grand spa hotel features indoor and outdoor pools fed by a thermal spring. The Kurhaus spa resort is a 5-minute walk away.Spacious, classically furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi are offered at the Radisson Blu Badischer Hof Hotel. Rooms provide lovely views of the town or park. Some are set in a former monastery, and feature bathtubs connected to a thermal spring.Black Forest specialities and international meals are served in the Park Restaurant and on the terrace. In the evenings, guests can relax on stylish leather seats in the Jockey Bar.Badischer Hof’s spa includes a sauna and gym. A range of massages and beauty treatments can be booked. Guests are free to sunbathe in the pretty gardens with fountains. The Festspielhaus theatre is a 4-minute walk from the Radisson Blu. Baden-Baden town centre is less than 10 minutes away on foot."
"The hotel is situated in a pretty good location with the town centre being a 5 minute leisurely walk away. During check in we were offered a welcome drink that was a pretty nice touch after an early flight. We were given a very nice (and quiet) suite facing the thermal spa. One point worthy of mention is the level of cleanliness of the room every day. In terms of food, there is a nice selection of wholesome food for breakfast and we even tried out the restaurant once and it was pretty good too. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Emails are also promptly answered within minutes. The hotel does not have its own pool but the Caracalla Spa is available with a hotel discount voucher. There is also an underground passage from the hotel to the Spa. The only downside I can mention is the WiFi. It was very temperamental and frequently disconnected. It is something the hotel need to look into as it is a spoiler to what is is otherwise a pleasant experience." "We have stayed here many times before. On this trip, we realised that this is possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed at anywhere in the world, including all star levels. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and friendly. They are always one step ahead of you to ensure that your stay is a first class experience. The breakfast is delicious. A great selection of pastries, cold meat and cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, cereals and other hot meals cooked for you. The rooms are spacious including large bathroom with bath, safe in room, complimentary mini bar, lounges and ample storage room. We were in Baden Baden to visit the Caracalla Spa. The great thing about this hotel is that you can walk to the spa via the underground carpark so you do not need to go outside in the cold. A first class hotel providing a first class experience. Highly recommended." "My husband and I stayed in the street facing Junior suite on the first floor in August 2021. The room is huge, beautifully decorated, completely dark at night with the blinds and absolutely perfect! There is some sound of the cars passing but it didn't bother us even though I am a light sleeper. It might be an issue once the schools open because they have a school across the street. The hospitality is amazing - right from an early check-in to late check out(we paid extra), to assisting us when we got stuck in the rain to best breakfast menu we have seen at a hotel in Europe - this hotel will remain one of my favorites! Oh, and the location is at the end of the street in Baden-Baden. Easy stroll from the centre."

"Like a house in a fairy tale, everything is retro, there are hotels of the age and history, the elevator is small, and the two big ones are very crowded. There are not many breakfast options, but the croissant here is the best I have ever eaten. It is crispy and tender, not oily or greasy, super invincible and delicious. I have been back to China for half a month, or I am thinking of the croissant here. . The parking fee is very expensive, ten or twenty euros ~ you can find cheap parking nearby" "A lovely hotel, although some old, but the retro style makes people feel like they have returned to 100 years ago, the room is very large and comfortable, the corridor is full of artistic atmosphere, the breakfast room is especially flavorful, and there are many varieties of breakfast. This took a lot of photos on the hotel. Take you to the city center, wherever you are, and go to the hot springs for more than ten minutes." "Last minute pit stop on a drive back from Venice to NL, we found this hotel via online reviews and were not disappointed. It has a charming old-world feel to it, and extraordinary kind and helpful staff. Our family suite was a very pretty corner 2-rooms with the kids in the sitting room and 2 bathrooms - good value for money. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was excellent. My son enjoyed the pool table immensely. Unfortunately we didn't get to check out the restaurant as they were fully booked (a very good sign of course!)"
