Stayed at the nüwa hotel for my girlfriends birthday. They went above and beyond and surprised us with a cake delivered to our room. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Will stay here again in the future!

Stayed here for 3 nights . Was upgraded to a higher suite with dining room and living room . 15 minutes drive from airport to hotel . The great: - great decoration and art work around the entire hotel . 32 rooms so pretty exclusive . - great service as expected from Raffles hotel brand from check in , high tea , evening cocktail , turn down service . - try to meet all your request e.g very early departure for a hiking trip at 4am, hotel prepared a good breakfast to go at 0350am to be delivered to the room that can sustain us for a mountain hike . After the hike, we came back with muddy hiking shoes . As we didn’t want to stain the suite , we asked the hotel to see if they can clean the hiking shoes which they promptly did so by the next day. - excellent spa with steam room , mineral pool and very well equipped gym that made it very exclusive and well main- maintained . - very good service throughout the stay as there are 32 rooms though their is a Fairmont wing - ginormous room, our upgraded suite was easily 100sqm . Entry level suites are 60sqm . - good level of security and good sound-proofing Things that could be improved - breakfast and high tea was limited but probably due to low occupancy of the hotel so they wanted to reduce wastage . - breakfast and high tea is repetitive- if you stay there for 4 days, you get same food and high tea with little rotation - water pressure was pretty low and so was hot water . So bath tub does take a very long time to fill up . - TV could be updated to make it more connectable with personal devices . watches TV - connecting tunnel to shopping mall was out of bounds or closed off, due to some quarantine stuff which meant having to walk in traffic and rain above ground . Hopefully they would open up the underpass like how Philippines is slowly opening up . Would I stay here in Manila again , Yes I would .

Junior suite still looks fabulous. BUT the AC temp was not that cold compared to Fairmont which is where we first stayed. I decided to let this pass since we are staying for the night. Amenities were spot on expected to compliment the highly distinguished hotel brand name , BUT the TV channel selection needs some additions. Or make it a Netflix or Smart Tv accessible type. Remember this is a Raffles .. Afternoon tea which is usually by the lobby is not available. Best they can do is complimentary evening cocktails sent to your suite. Breakfast at Mireio was just fine. Were it not for the ambiance and staff service, it would have been a thumbs down for me. Plated breakfast choices with some bread and fruits only. Anyway this pandemic has ruined the buffet experience.

We always love to stay at Ascott BGC. The staff are very accommodating and the rooms are clean and well kept. There was one time when my kids left their toys upon checkout and when we came back it was completely stored and kept and our kids had it back.

Good experience of staycation with family. I appreciate the big room space. And the service of the security to send the food up to the room. Definitely will be back again!

Front office is amazing and attentive. Grand Hyatt and the Peak is an experience in itself. Every room has a bath tub and the hallway, lift smell really good. Not also as crowded as the likes of Savoy/ Belmont. Bar bites in The Peak is also yummy, highly recommended is their Negroni.

We would like to share our appreciation of the wonderful job and the pleasant experience we had with MJ, our housekeeping server. she always served with a smile and gave us a sense of security with knowing we can trust her when we were not in our room. she checked on us when we walked by in hallway to make sure we did not need anything and was always approachable. Another reason we will give a referral to our friends and family.

Stayed one night after visiting Boracay. I emailed them in advance and asked them to pick me up at the airport. It was room of coral wing of bottom category that stayed, but area and comfort are enough, too. There were 2 toilets. When I checked in, I was asked if I wanted a room on the sea side or the fountain side, so I chose the fountain side. After 6:00 p.m., we could see the fountain show that was held every hour from the living room and bathroom of the room. I can't hear the sound that much. The good points of the room are the large space for luggage, where you can go directly from the entrance, where there is a dresser with bright lights, where there is a non-slip at the bottom of the wide bathtub, where there is a bench in the shower room, And so on. The amenity has a good scent and the air volume of the dryer is sufficient. The touch of the bathrobe was also good. I had an early flight the next morning, so I asked the concierge to arrange a grab for me. . It was a reliable service.

The room was excellent and Miguel at the VIP front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Most of the staff are very friendly and have excellent customer service. Would love to come back and stay there on our next family vacation. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

There are not enough words to describe the excellence that this hotel offers its guests! From the moment you walk in, you feel so welcome, specially at the lobby lounge bar special mentioned to Dome he welcomed us with genuine smile he is the one assist on us during that night, He did a good job from suggesting the food and also thier drinks from their bartender Arjo everything is perfect, It was very comfortable and convenient. Perfect for our time for relaxation and with some business in the process. It was at the center of everything. We will definitely return.

I was in Manila for work and the hotel staff was EXCEPTIONAL from the security guard at the gate to the housekeepers. I must acknowledge the bartender at the lobby bar MC. After long days at the office, he knew exactly what drinks to mix to take the edge off. He was very personable and I could tell he enjoyed bartending. He along with everyone else did a phenomenal job of ensuring my stay was pleasant and worth returning. Great job everyone, I’ll be back for sure. Thanks MC and the rest of the Westin Marriott team. The location was good for the reason why I was traveling. If shopping is your thing, it was also connected to the Galleria Mall and a short walk from the giant SM Mega Mall. The staff was friendly and helpful (as they should be) and the breakfast buffet was typical (although avoid the pastries since they were very dry). The rooms are not modern. The furniture seemed to be from the early 00s or late 90s, so it was not as nice as I would have preferred. Probably the main thing I didn't like was the strange smell in the room. It wasn't bad, just an old, musty smell that was constant. I also killed a small cockroach on the side table. Not a big deal for me, but may be an issue for other travelers. The gym (with good and plentiful equipment) and swimming pool are shared with the Holiday Inn next door. The Crowne Plaza is okay, and I would recommend it, but it's an old place and some parts feel like a 3-star establishment.

We enjoyed our stay here due to the main reason convenient since there a mall access to galleria, that we really needed that day. Though there's one thing that I don't like I waited 53 minutes from my check-in time. Two person giving me same reason due to cleaning. All in expirence was great and me and my girlfriend enjoyed the breakfast buffet good quality food.

I booked a Deluxe Suite at the Makati Shangri La and the room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately despite the website stating that a DVD player was in the suite there was none as they had apparently upgraded the TV and the new TV did not have a DVD connection and the new TV controls were a nightmare as they do not have a numerical button to change stations. The first night I was unable to change from CNN and the bedroom TV was stuck in menu mode so the next day the technician came to explain the controls and had to call in a colleague to re-programme the TV after which some channels worked but many channels showed an error message that the cable was not plugged in correctly to the set top box so they could not be accessed. Unlike other Horizon Club lounges this hotel did not have a chardonnay for the cocktail hour but a prosecco, viognier and pinot gris none of which I normally enjoy but the shiraz and cabernet sauvignon were acceptable. Likewise the canapes were sp**** and only paired with the white wine and not the red (which a lot of lounges are guilty of). There was a small selection of cocktails available. The lounge staff were very friendly and helpful even on the busy nights bar the first night when I was left waiting for a while to replenish my wine glass.
- Guest User
As expected of Shangri-La, I am very satisfied with everything. The breakfast buffet and room (deluxe suite) were both very good. Amenities are L'Occitane. I also had a relaxing time in the lounge. On the way, my daughter became unwell and the hotel nurse gave her medicine after examining her. It was very reassuring to know that they would even provide transportation to the emergency hospital if necessary. I became a gym member 13 years ago while I was working there, and I was very impressed that the staff at the time remembered me. Since it was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, I stayed at other hotels, but I realized once again that Makati Shangri-La is the best.
