"We were relieved to find this hotel in this busy place is located on the quieter side of the canal bank. We used the hotel car park situated in the basement. Room on one of the higher floors was fine, and it was good to have a small balcony overlooking the canal. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room, although quite small, was well equipped and comfortable. Good aircon. Poor wifi - I gave up! It was very very busy on the opposite side of the canal, but since the restaurant next door was closed we had no option but to cross over for dinner. Plenty of masks and disinfectant hand lotion around, but not very much concept of social distancing. the second night we ate at the restaurant next door (Quai d'en face) to the hotel. Very good. Despite what the hotel says, you really do need to book: it's very popular because it's good, run by some relatively young people. Bill for a good dinner came to €81.50. Breakfast in the hotel each morning served in a conservatory was fine. Hotel bill for two nights + breakfast + garage came to €375. If we return to Sete we would stay again."
"My husband and I adore everything French, and after several years of visiting popular destinations like Paris, Nie, Saint Tropez and so, we decided to explore further, and fell upon the charming and quaint Sete. Not to be missed! Feelings of true French life goes on here, absolutely beautiful coastal town, very quiet, with some of the freshest seafood we have tried. Although we didnt find many options for hotels, we settled on L'Orque Bleue and safely give it two thumbs up. Adorable interior, again quaint, quiet, and beautiful, just like Sete! The room had all modern needs like hair dryer, air con, flat screen television, and so forth. Excellent choice for an excellent destination."
"This is a well positioned hotel, just a short stroll into the town or to the port. The welcome was excellent (and the staff were all without exception superb throughout out stay) and they were kind enough to let us store our bikes in their secure garage. The reception and common areas are very well kept and attractively furnished. Our room was very nice indeed and suited us erfectly. The aircon was a plus. There was hardly any noise at night considering we were fairly centrally placed and we slept very well. Breakfast was very good too. We would return!"
