Great gym, beautiful pool, beautiful common area, this is a really great hotel with nice amenities! They have convenient laundry for guests. The only thing missing is I wish I had been some bottled water provided in the room and I wish they had been daily turn down service, but maybe that is because of the pandemic? It was all great otherwise.

Overall, a clean and comfortable hotel. I haven't stayed there in a couple of years, but I did notice an overall decline in the condition of the hotel and service. My room was clean; however, the toilet constantly ran and the shower was constantly dripping (wasted water). I mentioned that my room needed maintenance when I checked out. Hopefully the staff followed up. I arrived late to the hotel due to flight delays. I tried numerous times to get the mobile key on my phone via the app, but it kept showing ”preparing your mobile room key” - never got it. Upon check-in, I wanted to get a glass of wine to relax in my room while I unpacked. No bartender to be found, until I went to the front desk and asked for them to find him/her. There were others waiting for service, as well. On the last morning of my stay, I contacted the front desk to ask for a ”late” (30 minutes later) check out. Check out time is 12:00 noon, but I asked if I could check out at 12:30 instead, as I was attending a conference that was wrapping up at noon. I was hoping to keep my bag in the room, so that I could change quickly in my room before catching a flight home. I was told no.... ”If I do it for you, everyone else will want to do it.” Wow, what an unprofessional response. I didn't think 30 minutes would be so disruptive to the flow of housekeeping. The staff is generally pleasant and professional, aside from my brief conversation with the front desk asking for a later checkout time. I stay at this because it's convenient for my conference attendance, but I'm disappointed with my most recent experience and stay, here. Generally, not Marriott standards.

The location of this hotel around shops and restaurants was why I selected it for a short stay. I knew I would be without a car so I wanted to be somewhere I could easily feed and entertain myself off hours. There is a target, movie theater, taco bar and a few nice chain stores in the open air mall around the hotel. The lobby is new and in very good condition. The staff is friendly upon check in and out. The room itself was a bit dated. It appears they may have refurbished the common areas but not the rooms. The room had carpet, dinged up walls and an older, loud air con unit. As is expected with mid tier hotels, the lighting in the bathroom is poor making makeup up application difficult. There was not a magnifying mirror. Linens were clean but worn. Pillows could definitely use a refresh. Overall perfectly serviceable, adequate rooms, just nothing especially luxurious about it. The one real bad experience was in the restaurant for breakfast. We were brought spoiled milk several times. This made me question their food safety and storage techniques so I would definitely suggest eating elsewhere. Aside from the experience at the restaurant, our stay was pleasant.

We don’t usually stay in Residence Inn’s however our travel plans had us in Raleigh for a night and this hotel had the best option for our family of five. I have to say I was really impressed! The rooms were spacious, clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast area was really comfortable. This was one of the nicer Residence Inn’s I’ve stayed in!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the Residence Inn after attending an NC Symphony concert. Our room, as well as the entire hotel, was super-clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet offered many hot & cold choices. Nice large and well-equipped fitness center. Staff were friendly and professional.

The bed was heavenly. They have Peloton bikes in the fitness room. Only two things lacking: vegan food options, outdoor pool. I would stay here again. There are vegan food options across the street (Happy and Hale, Element - Plant-based Gastropub. And Raleigh Raw is just a couple of blocks down.).

We valet parked our car even though we had to access it daily during our stay. The entire valet staff was pleasant and quick to respond to our requests for them to retrieve our car. I would like to especially mention Frank as for being positive and very helpful! Thanks, Frank!

We stayed here for two nights to take in a hockey game at the PNC Arena. You can walk to the Arena from here. Traffic cops block traffic so you can cross the street. There is a small restaurant and bar in the hotel lobby for a quick bite before the game. It serves a limited menu, including burgers, but we didn't try it out. We did have breakfast in the same restaurant the next morning, and it was pretty good. There is also a restaurant in the same parking lot called the Backyard Bistro if you would prefer. Staff here were super friendly. Obviously, this place can be busy on event nights (as it is the closest or only hotel within walking distance of the PNC arena), but we found the staff up to the task and our reservation was confirmed without incident. Our king size bed room was enormous, with a super comfy bed, and it was very quiet. Staff in the breakfast restaurant was delightful. Ample parking. Outdoor pool, not heated, and small fitness room. Laundry on the second floor and only $1 per load.

Absolutely a wonderful place, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and the kids with all of our needs and request. The room was immaculately cleaned and ready for us at noon when we arrived. We even got to speak with the General Manager who took the time to chat with our little one while we were checking in. we will absolutely go back to this wonderful hotel!

Sitting in the hotel as I write this. Wifi did not work in the room. I notified the front desk last night that, as soon as I entered my room, it stopped working. The only option the front desk could offer me was to call tech support, which is not fair to the employee or the guest. It is 2023, Hilton…DO BETTER. There is no menu of any kind on the site for this hotel or any other under the Hilton umbrella, which makes it very difficult to plan for what I can eat. (I am on a restricted diet that, in part, prevents me from consuming dairy.) For lactose-intolerant guests, this presents a challenge as traveling with nondairy milk is not always a practical option. Why is there no soy, oat, etc., option available like every other place that serves breakfast? Further, where are healthier options like whole grain bagels/bread? You are a multi-billion-dollar company and offering a menu online as well as whole grain and nondairy options are not outlandish or exorbitant requests in 2023. In fact, they should not even have to be brought up—ESPECIALLY when breakfast is included (yet many guests are excluded). Finally, plastic cups at breakfast? Seriously?! I am not even going to say anything more about this. Stop worrying about executive salaries over the basic comforts of your guests. It is a true shame that your oversights clouded over what might have otherwise been a pleasant experience given the friendly staff.

Very pretty and modern Embassy Suites. Rooms are spacious and the gym is very good for a hotel gym. A number of cardio machines. Dumbbells max out at 50. There are a few medicine balls as well as a cable machine. Enough to keep you consistent. Didn’t use the pool but there is a small one. Evening reception and breakfast are basic but also get the job done. The hotel is pretty loud. I could hear other patrons while trying to sleep. Near the mall but not a whole lot else so I had to get picked up or Uber to get anywhere.
