TOP 10 Dumaguete Hotels

Awesome. Just eat can only eat at the hotel. To eat seafood dinner, you have to take a 20-minute car to the center. There are not many choices for the hotel to eat, but it tastes good.

The hotel is very close to the airport and there is a free drop-off directly to the airport. It takes 300 pesos to get to the city using the hotel car. Compared to downtown hotels, this hotel is in much better condition, but it is too biased. The hotel's catering is also quite satisfactory. One day's breakfast is buffet, and the other day's breakfast is based on a set menu. I still recommend Dumaguete to stay at the hotel over Dauin. It is better to have a beach. We strongly recommend vida home and pura vida. Our family stayed at vida home for more than 200 square meters in a 2-bedroom suite very well.

The place is nice, the salt water infinity pool is beautiful. It's quiet. The two small pools however were dirty, and so was the CR. Also the service could be better. We had to ask for things twice. One thing I didn't like about it is that the only vegetarian option for the day package guests is a bland pizza margherita. A day package is 600 php per person, which is more than at most resorts in Dauin. And those other resorts offer a better variaty of vegetarian options.

The beach is just outside the hotel. In the morning, you can catch small crabs and watch the stars at night. If you still have the chance to play, you will still choose this hotel. Quiet, good service. The only downside is that Wi-Fi is weak.

The location of the hotel is good, not far from the biggest shopping mall. And the price is super high, the hotel sanitary facilities feel very good. It is more cost-effective than living in Bohol before. Staff service is ok

I love this hotel. i have stayed here now many many times, and i have NEVER had a bad experience, so i thought i would finally write a DESERVED GOOD review. The Hotel is placed right at the heart of Dumaguete, everything you would want is with a few mins of the hotel, the hotel also provides trips to some of the popular tourist attractions. The rooms are always clean and fresh with daily room service, but in my opinion the only thing that lets the rooms down are the showers which sadly could do with more maintenance as often they are faulty in some way and poorly kept looking, but they still provide good supply of hot water. I have stayed in all of the rooms they offer, from their suite to the standard rooms, and all show the same levels of cleanliness and the rooms always feel welcoming. Free breakfast is provided and the restaurant is good and the food well cooked and presented , the hotel provides a full range of pampering service if you require some self indulgence. The staff are ALWAYS friendly polite professional and on hand for any reason and will always make you feel important and a valued guest. I have in all my stays at this Hotel had only ever had one problem which was dealt with professionally, immediately and satisfactorily,. This hotel is ALWAYS my first choice when i visit Dumaguete, and will continue to be so They have plenty of rooms and even as a walk in, i have never been turned away from being fully booked, Its always a pleasure staying here.... We (1 x Australian male & 1 x Filipina) stayed for one week in a Family Apartment. We chose Villa Prescilla as we wanted to be able to self-cater and cook our own meals. The hotel is a short drive from both the airport (via taxi) and the centre of Dumaguete (trike). Getting transport via a trike is easy, plus the trikes here are much bigger than in Manila or Angeles and the prices were reasonable: but it does help if you have a Filipina with you to ensure you are not being taken advantage of (but I still gave tips to drivers). Location is away from the hustle & bustle of Dumaguete, but the road is still very busy and noise from traffic can be a bit of a problem, but main bedroom is at the rear of the building and we kept the doors shut. To avoid being awakened too early by neighbouring roosters or barking dogs, I recommend having the fan on for white noise. The hotel is a bit old and showing its age, but it is still clean, pleasant and had everything we needed, plus the caretaker/s were very helpful and friendly. My only gripe would be in relation to the Wi-Fi signal which at times was non-existent (welcome to the Philippines...lol). In the times we live, Wi-Fi has become a necessity and I was relying on being able to use my laptop, so it was of great importance to me to be able to access the internet when I wanted / needed. Fortunately, each time I really needed to access the internet the caretakers would come to the apartment and were able to get a signal for me through trial and error, plus a lot of persistence and sometimes calling upon the available IT guru (caretakers’ teenage son). My Filipina was very happy with the kitchen facilities and was able to whip up some great meals. Caretakers were also able to arrange a private car with driver for us (day trip to Bindoy) and a taxi for the journey to the airport for our departure.
