We stayed at the Four a Seasons for a quick weekend. They emailed in advance of our stay to see if we needed a car service, dinner reservations, and to gather other preferences. Everything was exquisite from start to finish. This is a brand new Four Seasons (and my new favorite)! A spa treatment is a must—I booked a massage with Lindsey and it was the best massage I’ve ever had! The only (small) minus is that the co-ed hot tub was in the same area as the indoor pool. So there are children in the area (with all that entails). But there is also. Hot tub, sauna, etc within the gendered locker rooms that are kid free, so plenty of alternative options.

The reservation coincided with the event at the University of Minnesota, and there was a shortage of room types. As a result, two room types were separated when placing the order. I sent an email to the hotel in advance and hoped that the room would not be changed during the 7 days. Mr. Don at the front desk responded patiently and provided support. The hotel provided supporting facilities. New, warm service

The breakfast was great, very good, forgot to take pictures, but remind everyone, don't forget to save a little money and not want breakfast, this breakfast is delicious and delicious, a room with breakfast can be consumed at the restaurant 75 dollars, we are three people, basically can not finish, go to dinner only need to tip. The second floor of the hotel can go directly to the mall, then the first floor is the food city. The food inside the restaurant is really not as good as the hotel's breakfast, even worse than the hotel's lunch dinner. I can only eat some shack shack (it seems like this) ) So reminder, the domestic time difference has not come, wake up very early in the morning, hungry, must eat breakfast
- 肖
Clean, quiet, with underground parking, no toothbrush slippers, parking is charged extra for the day, the second floor of the hotel is directly connected to the mall of america, convenient, the swimming pool is small, and the car can be parked until 5 pm after check-out.

My daughter got married in Minneapolis on 5/28/22 and we used Hotel,Ivy as the host hotel. We had some guests back out from reservations at the last moment and fell short of our block requirement. They kindly forgave the shortfall, anyway. The hotel is beautiful and elegant. We had booked a suite the level below the penthouse for the bridal party to get ready and the next lower tier suite for the groomsmen. The bridal suite, through no fault of the hotel, smelled of a particular flavor of smoke, and after an attempt to clean it, still wasn’t immediately acceptable. One of the managers, Ziena, worked hard to try to make it right. Ultimately, she gave my daughter the penthouse. Additionally, my hard of hearing elderly father locked my son out of the room they were sharing with the deadbolt, thereby preventing staff from being able to open it. He could not hear banging on the door. Again, the Hotel Ivy staff came through, supplying my son with a room for the night without charge. It was so refreshing to see a business look out for guests. That is the way one gets loyal customers and count us as such! Thank you, Hotel Ivy and Ziena! Monellos was fabulous for dinner, as well. Scott Westenberg

I am not covering this stay in great detail. One issue was so serious that everything else I might have said would be irrelevant. We stayed in a Grand Suite. It is 3:00 pm. We are dipped sitting in the lobby waiting. Hotel Ivy’s contract said that check-in is at 3:00 pm. Honoring contracts is apparently not the Marriott way. We were shown to our room at 5:20 pm. While we were waiting, they lied to us. They told us the guest occupying our suite had a 4:00 pm check-out. But funny thing, their website said they had three Suites available. All of them were occupied until 4:00 pm? Why would they do that if they had promised us that the room would be available at 3:00 pm? Let’s discuss this late check-in further. When we rented the room, Marriott sent an email summarizing our contractual agreement. That summary covered, the room rate, the days of stay, and the hours during which we had rented the room—in other words a check-in time and a check-out time. Between that check-in time and check-out time, we were entitled to occupy the room. Unbeknownst to us, Marriott also rented the same room to someone else for a part of the same time that we were entitled to the room. So Marriott rented the room to two different guests, and collected money from both of those guests for the same time. I am now long retired. But my trade when I was working was consumer protection law. The law has a term for when somebody sells a hotel room to two people at the same time and collects money from both of them. It is a harsh word. It begins with “F,” but is not four letters. The word is fraud. I find it very unpleasant when a business defrauds me. It is especially bad when I discover that fraud is a standard business practice. We were expressly told that the hotel has conflicting “policies.” (Policies is the word they use for contractual obligations.) On the one hand, if you rent the room through American Express, your contract says that you are entitled to occupy your room until 4:00 pm. But at the same time, they rent the exact same room to another customer, and make a contract that entitles the second customer to occupy the room at 3:00 pm. Obviously, they cannot honor both contracts, and they know that when they make the contracts. But that is not Marriott’s problem. That is the customer’s problem. Marriott relies on it being too much effort for customers to seek redress for the fraud. They elect to honor the contract of the customer who booked through American Express, and breach the contract with the second customer. This is Marriott’s standard business practice. Marriott has a standard business practice to cheat customers.

Stayed 2 nights , 2 rooms for parents and myself. Rooms were clean and beds are very comfortable. The free parking was appreciated. The restaurant next door is excellent - we ate there for breakfast and dinner. Negatives: 1. Water pressure - we were only on the 2nd floor but I had issues to get hot water (it took 3-4 minutes) and very low water pressure in the sink. 2, Insulation not as good in this hotel as in the ACM Golden Valley location ; could hear people above and next door moving around. AC Marriott has clearly tried to cut costs since the last time I was there (before the pandemic) by cutting service - there is a charge for breakfast (that used to be great but now lower quality) and no servicing of the rooms unless you ask for it. I hope that this will be reconsidered.

I travel full time for work and stay at some many places all over the world. I had such an incredible experience at this hotel. Mike who worked at the front desk made sure to take his time to check me in and make me feel valued, he also said hi every morning and evening I walked by and went out of his way to find me the hot sauce they use at the restaurant. Joy was helpful and friendly every day and Gibson was just the most fun and hilarious bar tender. he made me and my coworker feel at home in a hotel. thank you to the entire staff there.

IMO The value/convenience of airport hotels is being able to WALK FROM YOUR ROOM to check in , check your bags, then walk to TSA. This is not possible at this hotel. For some reason this hotel ( property is beautiful BTW) was built so that you need a shuttle from the hotel to the terminal which is literally 500 feet away. Best case scenario if you ONLY HAVE CARRY ONG BAGS and if ( BIG IF as TSA has very limited hours at the hotel connection ) TSA is open you can walk from your room to the boarding gate providing you have a boarding pass. If you have checked bags you have to use the shuttle or as in our case walk outside to the terminal. In reality be prepared to sign up for a shuttle the day before, be prepared to walk downstairs and find a lobby of 50 or more people waiting for one shuttle that runs every 20 minutes. We signed up for the night before a 4am shuttle, arrived at 3:45 am and come 4:45am were still waiting for a ride to the terminal so we actually walked across roads with airport traffic to the terminal............most of the walk had no sidewalks. It was walk or miss our flight. Oh did I mention parking is $29 a night plus tax ? We found it FAR easier, cheaper, more reliable and much less stress to book a hotel a mile or 2 away from offsite parking , stay at that hotel and drive ourselves to off site parking in the morning vs ( EZ air park has multiple shuttles running) fighting for a shuttle. I really HATE writing this review as we stay at the Tampa ( TPA) airport Marriott often and we can walk from our room with all of our bags to the ticketing area then through TSA. When I saw this hotel being built I was excited as it COULD HAVE been a perfect spot the night before a flight............why security is set up the way it is I have no idea and unfortunately it can't be fixed.

Overall not bad, the facilities are quite new, it is very high-end in the United States. It is just that the water pressure of the bath faucet can be bigger, bottled water will not be delivered, you need to go to the front desk to collect. The hotel is next to the airport, there is a free shuttle bus, the service staff is very nice, the scenery in the room is also good, you can see the plane taking off.

Stayed here for eight nights in July while my niece competed in USA Fencing Nationals. Staff, especially Thomas, Melonie, and Jason were very friendly and handled all of our requests with a smile. Thomas was even able to put our three rooms under three separate reservations on the same floor and within a few feet of each other despite our specific room layout requests which weren't made until check in. The staff really went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The hotel has just completed a complete overhaul and the rooms and common areas were clean, modern, and comfortable. There were two negative points though. We had a shower only room and the weatherstripping on the shower door seemed to have been damaged at some point, resulting in a very wet bathroom floor after each shower. Engineering showed up immediately after we notified the front desk and attempted to find and fix the leak; however, did not succeed. Our work-around was make a temporary seal using extra towels. Second negative was for the loud music deep into the weekend nights coming from a club a block away. Overall, the property was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located with very friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay a very positive experience.

This hotel has very detailed contemporary features that highlight its modern, well-lit atmosphere. The staff seemed willing to assist with anything requested and the lobby gave off an inviting ”city center” appeal. If you are self-parking, maneuvering in and out of the hotel is a long process that involves three elevators to your guest room. However, this slight inconvenience gave us an opportunity to walk off some of the great food that is nearby. Another plus is that the hotel is within walking distance minutes to most desirable downtown attractions.

This is a difficult review to write. I understand that in a pandemic, hotels are getting crushed financially and must make adjustments to survive. But they should disclose upfront what they are doing. In this case, the Renaissance is adjacent to the Marriott Residence Inn. They are actually two sides of the same building. They have closed all public areas of the Renaissance, and you now check in and enter through the front desk of the Residence Inn, connected by a long hallway to the Renaissance. The Renaissance Depot advertises itself as being in the Milwaukee Road Depot but in fact all of those historic areas of the hotel shown on the website (such as the Great Hall) are closed, and that train station was the main reason I chose this hotel. The breakfast is a bag with an orange, a small yogurt, and an Otis Spunkmeyer wrapped muffin. None of this is disclosed on the website. Meanwhile, they are charging a higher price then the Residence Inn but with none of the amenities. The two main Renaissance elevators are closed. One small side elevator is still in use. The sign says use of the elevator is limited to one person. Luckily hotel occupancy was low, so that wasn't a big issue. The rooms were fine except there are no drawers or shelves -- just a luggage rack. There was no bath tub -- just a full-sized shower. The front desk staff were exceedingly nice. The hotel is very close to central downtown. Very convenient to the historic mills and the stone bridge.

Was here for two nights business meetings with a group of 14. Meeting facilities were perfect for us. Everything was prepared as we had asked and staff came by frequently to confirm if anything else was needed. Catered lunch was prepared well, tasted great, and plenty of it. BEST surprise was my missing laptop power cord was sent to my home address by the hotel staff. I had not realized I left it at the hotel. Above and beyond. Thank you!

I love this hotel, and have stayed here several times on trips to the Twin Cities. The staff is professional and helpful -- always. The valet parking retrieval is quick -- always. The rooms are exceptionally clean, beautifully appointed, have no funky hotel odors, and I have wonderful large windows that let in beautiful light. The bathroom is modern and well-designed, large and luxurious. I always stay in a king corner room where I can literally sit in the wonderful wide window ledges to drink my coffee and look out over downtown Minneapolis.

Very nice hotel and had the perfect location for a Timberwolves game. Could have probably booked a cheaper hotel that was still connected by a skywalk but didn’t look into it well enough. Quite expensive.
