Very nice hotel, warm front desk, large rooms, and hygienic supplies. Parking is free, there is Starbucks next to it. There are only a few blocks to the Parliament Square and the Mormon Square. It is recommended that everyone go around at night and the lights are very beautiful.

Very close to the main attractions of the city center, the environment is good, the bed is very comfortable, and I have a good night's sleep. There is a refrigerator and a microwave, and the internet is not bad. Parking free

This was the best hotel on our trip. We felt very welcome and enjoyed all of the interactions with the employees. There are great restaurants in the area, the front desk made some great recommendations. This hotel’s very clean. The breakfast was great. They have pumpkin waffles that were fabulous. I had read a review that said they didn’t feel safe, however that was not our experience- we felt safe in the area. There are homeless folks in the area but we never felt unsafe. Great place!

We stayed in early December 2022 for five nights at the Hampton Inn Salt Lake City-Downtown. The location is excellent-only about three blocks to the nearest Light Rail Station. Front desk staff was very friendly and helped us with all of our questions about Salt Lake City. Rooms were clean and breakfast was very good. Close to a couple of breweries and many restaurants. We had an excellent stay here!

This one in Salt Lake City, the room was fine. Meet expectations. Breakfast is also quite satisfactory. Only disappointment and upset was that I left the next day and the $198 deposit was never cancelled. Yes, it has been 11 days. I called the front desk on 7.16, and the female staff replied about 4 working days. As a result, looking at it today, all Marriott's Springhills have not been cancelled. But what stands out is that there is a $20 deposit for other Springhills suites. This 198, why? Salt Lake City expensive? Aren't you worried that such an inefficient cancellation of the deposit will affect your guests' next itinerary? Not everyone has a $30,000 credit card limit and can ignore your slow refunds. Regarding this hotel in Salt Lake City, it has bad reviews. It is recommended not to go if you are concerned about the speed of returning the 198 deposit.

I spent one night at this uniquely styled hotel with historical accents in central Salt Lake City. It is just a block or so from the Gallivan tram stop (green line from the airport). It is also convenient to downtown attractions and restaurants. The lobby offers seating to work or relax, though I needed a private space for this. Rather than charge me for a late check out, the General Manager let me use a meeting room, complementary. I really appreciate his accommodation. If you have breakfast included, you are given a voucher to use (up to $15) at the attached restaurant next door. Note that gratuity is not included. I did not bring cash and after getting some from my room, I returned, but did not find my server and was pressed for time. My apologies to him. The Peery is the only hotel outside of the Waldorf Astoria where I have stayed that has double sinks in the bathroom. If one is so inclined, it also includes a jetted tub. I am a shower only girl myself. This is the only hotel I remember that has glass mugs for coffee or tea rather than disposable cups. The heater was noisy and perhaps historic charm, though some areas of the floor squeak.

Very nice job of taking an historical property and adding modern day conveniences. Beautifully done and a wonderful location. Amazing mattress for a wonderful night's sleep. The bathrooms are a bit unique, obviously an experience from when it was first built. However, more a curiosity than anything else. Staff was wonderful. I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Salt Lake City. Having four restaurants on the property was a big plus.

According to reviews, parking fees are charged. In fact, customers can park their cars for free with a card. Attractions in the city are within walking distance. Good location and good value for money. However, when I joined the company, I met a friend from Shanghai who had stayed the night before and said that the room door bag might have been stolen in the evening. We should pay attention to it.

Perfect location for walking to downtown activities. Great service from staff and clean, spacious rooms. Great value as well. Loved hanging out at the bar for drinks.

The hotel is very good in all aspects, the guy at the front desk is very friendly The only problem is that the city itself does not make people like a lot of homeless people. There are a lot of homeless people in the whole city. On the way from the hotel to the shopping mall, just 50 meters, I encountered two strange people and was frightened. PS: The Chinese buffet opposite McDonald's is not bad, the name is forgotten

The room is super big .... it is to park by the side of the road, otherwise 10 knives per night

I recently stayed at this Sheraton Hotel and was totally disappointed with my experience. The fact that I used my suite upgrade being a Titanium Elite Bonvoy even made it worse. I have stayed in a number of Sheraton Hotels and by far, this is the worst of them all. First of all, the reception people were not so customer friendly. We came in around 2:20 p.m. thinking that our room will be ready by then. The front desk clerk said that please come back in about 45 minutes as the room is being worked on. We came back an hour later and to my surprise, the room was still not ready and that it will take another 30 minutes or so to be ready. After patiently waiting around, when we finally get to our Suite, it was not at par with Sheraton or Marriott standards. It looked like the remodeling was halted 3/4 of the way as it can be seen with the toilet bowl looking so badly done. Furniture were dusty. The room look so ancient. Breakfast was also bad as there was a human hair with the bacon that was being served. A few of the patrons saw the hair and told the kitchen and finally took away the pan of bacon and replaced it with a new one.

Been a while since we’ve been and no changes. Was in a suite but had an old musky smoke smell that was primarily from the age of the hotel. It needs some updating in a big way. Sadly, the on-site store wasn’t open early and the on-site Starbucks didn’t room charge. Breakfast buffet was pretty good with made to serve omelets.

I'm not tall, but the folks at the hotel are so enthusiastic and helpful! They told me that the hotel used to be a bank, and that the vault was currently repurposed for use in the kitchen (? - maybe I'm misremembering). The tall floor? They built it because the Kimpton Monaco is where the basketball players stay when they come into town to play - they made a whole floor with elevated counters and super tall doors. It's a funky little feature and my kids got a kick out of peeking down the hall... Otherwise the place was excellent! Friendly, cheerful, and incredibly thoughtful! The room was spacious, super clean, and stylish, as Kimpton rooms are. My kids and I loved the board games in the lobby, the cold tea and water (July is HOT in Utah!), and the exercise room tucked into a space over the entryway but not at all crowded! Place is easy, easy walking distance to some excellent sights and restaurants, even in the hot weather. Overall a terrific choice!

This hotel, overall, was very nice. The only notable issues we had were with the room itself. We booked a double bed room, but was given a single bed. The staff quickly fixes this for us. The second issue was with the toilet. It began to overflow and no one had used it. The staff quickly sent someone up to fix it and gave us a $50 credit for the restaurant that we used for breakfast. The breakfast was great! The front office staff was very professional and accommodating. The facilities were very clean and well kept. I would recommend staying here if you're in the area looking for a room.
