Great hotel, especially the swimming pool, the water is still a bit cold in the morning, foreigners like to sit next to the sun and have a drink ... we are right next to the hot spring Koike ... so good 很

Quite modern, except for the old towels, everything else is very good. The location is also convenient. The breakfast ordered on the morning of the 11th was delivered to the room without a glass of lemonade. Everything else is good.

My wife and I often stay at Marriot properties throughout the United States. We are retired and do a lot of travel in the US and abroad. The customer service at each Marriott Hotel location has been very good, however at the Marriott Bayview, Newport Beach the service we received upon arrival and all throughout our one-week stay were exceptional. Let me explain. When we arrived at the Hotel, my wife and I was greeted by Josiah Escamilla, the Manager. To say he was very professional, very polite, and very accommodating is an understatement. Josiah was excellent in the attention he gave us, his professional demeanor, and most of all the unbelievable hospitality that Josiah showed us was just…incredible. Never before have we ever been treated with such hospitality in such a professional and courteous manner. Josiah made our stay just an absolute delight. Josiah made certain that whenever we called for room service or for extra towels, blankets, etc., we got what we needed in record time. Josiah was very knowledgeable about events and activities in the hotel and the various amenities the hotel had to offer e.g., restaurant, in-room dining service, gym, outside walking trail, etc. He and his staff made our stay very enjoyable. When we left the hotel, my wife thought that she had lost her purse, we called Josiah to inform him of the loss and within just 15 minutes Josiah called us back to let us know that he had gone back to our room and found my wife’s purse. He then secured the purse in the Hotel safe and insisted that he be the one to give it to my wife when she returned the following day to pick it up. Josiah also was able to correct an error in our Lifetime Gold Elite membership points, which upon our checkout had not been added to our account. He called us to inform us that he made the correction and as a result, the points we earned during our stay, were added to our existing points balance. He and his staff must be acknowledged for the tremendous work they put in to make our visit so comfortable and so enjoyable. We really appreciate the unbelievably high level of service we received throughout our stay. This kind of exceptional service we enjoyed, thanks to Josiah and the rest of his staff, Christine, Maryam, Mariana, Stephanie, Anthony, Tommy, and Josef is why we will continue to stay at Marriott Hotels and particularly the Bayview Marriott, Newport Beach. This hotel is the closest to the Irvine Spectrum Center, which has tons of restaurants, a huge movie complex, shops galore, plenty of parking in several parking structures, easy access to the freeways. We stayed here June 2022 for 2 nights and we had a blast. The thing that made it super cool is the staff. In particular, Angelo in the front desk. We came in early and our suite was not yet ready. He gave us complementary access to amenities while we wait. Then he notified us when the suite was ready. For our troubles, which really was none because check in was at 4 pm and we came in at 1 pm, he gave us free breakfast for two. When we needed anything else, like toiletries, the staff and Angelo helped us quickly. We used the gym and it was bigger than most hotels offer, with several treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, machines, cold water, towels, sanitizers all around. It overlooks the swimming pool and those pools have private cabanas. When we wanted to eat in their garden one evening, the staff turned on the firepit for us to keep warm. The hotel was quiet, no noise whatsoever during our stay. We stayed here years ago and had a great experience then and it still continues to this day. Overall, our stay was awesome.

So just think about how to change the world. After the economic system collapses, I won’t think this way, and I won’t live this way again when we are together... But I have also had the opportunity to do it myself. It will be so fast...but don’t always want to show each other when you are with them because of this

The hardware facilities are good. It is very close to UCI, and there is an asian food court in 10 minutes by car...all are good. but! too! Quarrel! up! The road downstairs is full of roaring cars all night, so you can rest if you don’t want to sleep.

The hotel is very clean, shopping and eating around is also very convenient

The hotel, room, & most importantly the bedding & towels are all clean and provided a much sought-after relief after two previous hotels on the same trip that ultimately weren't as clean as we had hoped. The front desk staff are highly courteous and they seemed to have a great logging system for each guest and their room number. They offer complimentary parking which was appreciated. Being located close to so many restaurants and grocery stores is also amazing and we drove less than a mile to the Il Fornaio Italian restaurant last night while we were at the hotel for a night and it was indeed a fantastic experience! The hotel is also quite close enough to the flagship location of the French cafe called Moulin in Newport Beach (Bristol St) which was one of the top culinary highlights of our entire trip alongside our dinner at the Michelin-starred Spanish restaurant Vaca. This being said, while the front desk does attempt to deliver an unbelievably high level of customer service on par with international 4-star hotels, the sofa bed wasn't made for our room until the third call to the front desk across a span of a few hours and the wake up call for 4am so that we would get to the airport in time for our early morning flight also never came. Apparently the wake up call was logged into the system but the system never ended up calling our room at all that morning, so we had also requested the front desk to arrange for a taxi to take us to the airport at 5am but we wanted to make sure this wasn't also forgotten so we double-checked with the front desk about the taxi pickup and when we arrived downstairs at 5am the taxi was already ready for us and the cost for the taxi was just $12 plus a tip. Very distinctively, at least from my experience, this hotel seemed to feature a special shower/bathroom where the steam quickly fills the room and creates an incredibly spa-like head sinus reset experience which left my facial skin super hydrated on both occasions that I had taken a shower. Also the Paul Mitchell shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all very excellent for dry or irritated scalp and/or skin and the body wash was an amazing shaving gel substitute as well. The grocery items available for purchase in the lobby are rather overpriced but luckily if one hasn't the ability to frequent the nearby grocery stores then at the very least you will have an essential range of food and beverage options to stay hydrated and productive for your busy day. We loved the upscale touches throughout the property and will certainly consider returning to this hotel on future visits to Irvine!

When I book a hotel on a business trip, the main things I pursue are quietness and safety. The hotel is near Irvine, and it is safe. The location is very quiet, and the service is good. It is worth recommending.

Great customer service by the shuttle drivers especially ! Especially our driver Issam! He goes out of his ways to ensure he settle rides for our daily hotel-office-hotel- Irvine spectrum- hotel + nearest airports trips! Always greeting us with a warm genuine smile. He is very thoughtful about our safety. He look out for the entire group of us. He is like a fatherly figure imho! He ensure that I am safe while I stay for 15 days at the hotel. He is passionate about his work and if my memory didnt failed me, he has been working for more than 20 years at the same hotel.! Such loyalty should be appreciated. Sad that I didn’t get to thank him properly before i left to fly back home. I hope to see you Issam the next time I come to LA in 2023, god willing.
