Calea Serban - Voda, nr. 22-24, sector 4, Bucharest, Romania
"Firstly the hotel rang us the week before we were due to arrive and said they didn't have a room. Then rang back to say they did. We arrived a bit early as we had to drop a hire car off and the room was not ready which was fair enough. We then came back just before the 3pm check in time and had to wait over half an hour after that as they said that it was taking the cleaner a long time to clean because the previous occupants were very messy! Once we got in the room it was very clean and spacious. The decor is very different but interesting. The view from he outside area was stunning. The sofa bed was still a sofa so myself and my husband battled with the sofa to turn it into a bed. Once that was done there was no cover and we we asked reception and they said there wasn't one?? So they expected he children to sleep uncovered. We ended up using the top sheet from the main bed, this was Ok for them as he room was like a sauna! The breakfast was basic 1 type of cereal no eggs left and no fresh juice. The kitchen assistant was lovely and with some hand gestures she made us a lovely omelette. The guy on reception was friendly and got my husband a coffee as we waited but no organisation and other staff looked miserable and hard to figure out who worked there as they don't wear a uniform. A shame as the rooms are spacious and it is in a great location. "
"Great rooms, fantastic art all over..it seems that we were living in another world. ,impeccable english! The hotel is very new but will definitely become a classic! Location is superb close to old town, easy to find shops and also near shopping complex. The réceptionnist was very nice and helpful...he was always eager to help us and in"
"The hotel has a great location, 5 min to the old town, many restaurants, also the subway. It has very large rooms, balconies, it's quiet and the design is amazing! You stay in an art house! Coffee and breakfast is served only at specific times of the year. It's a very relaxing plac,e I din't want to leave!"

Str CA Rosetti nr 19 sect 2, Bucharest, Romania
"My experience mirrors the other reviews -- good and bad/ugly. I booked three nights. The Good? The location is excellent. The building is charming. The room (#1) was a good size. It is on the main floor and noise travels; I sleep easily but it would bother many people. The lobby/bar/den was comfortable for reading. The breakfast area was large, fine settings and the food was well-displayed and plentiful, hot and cold. The service was good. The bad and the ugly? Car service from the airport was to be paid to the hotel. The service was very good but had to be paid directly. I arrived at 1:30pm. The hotel clerk (very curt) did not know I had to pay for the service. I was told that no room could be ready before 3pm. To come back. Where could I go? No suggestion. Could I leave my luggage? Yes. I wandered out and came back at 3. I sent out my laundry (had been travelling from a carry-on for two weeks) on Thursday at 3:30. It was picked up. It did not return on Friday as promised. It came back on Saturday. It included someone else's clothes with all of mine. I returned to my room at 6:30 on Saturday to find it had not been cleaned and made up. When I pointed this out I was told that the cleaner did not come to work. Apparently no one else could make a bed or change the sheets. I asked for a few clean towels. Like so many other places it is all staff, staff, staff. Are they trained? do they have a customer-service orientation? Positive attitude? Can-do approach? I hit the wrong days and the wrong people apparently."
"Set in a beautiful building, Scala offers comfort, quiet and convenience. Furniture and furnishings are solid and rich. Linens are fine. Breakfast, set in a sumptuous room, was fresh, diverse and delicious. Staff were helpful. Cozy lobby/bar/sitting area."
"We were delighted with this hotel. The staff made us very welcome. It was immaculately clean and the breakfast was excellent.our room was warm and very comfortable. The location was Brilliant. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends."

Intrarea Aurora 17C, Bucharest, Romania
"First of all, the hotel is okay, but it is very small. Looking at the photo of the doorway, it looks like a square. As a result, a small road comes in, and there is a small round entrance. There is nothing near the hotel. The rooms are quite big, but they are very bad to see, they are all iron stairs, and the vision is not good. There is a sauna, but the facilities are more general. The hotel's restaurant heard that it was always good, ate, the waiter was very bad, and his eyes were impatient. The dessert was delicious. I ate the dessert for two days. The dishes were average. Nothing creative."
"Very satisfied very well"

Strada Franceza 11, Bucharest, Romania
"We booked The Mansion Boutique hotel in Bucharest for 3 nights arriving quite late on the Sunday night. On arrival we received a lovely glass of prosecco and show to our beautiful rooms. We had the Maroc room and my sister the Contemporary room. Both were lovely and spotlessly clean. Thd whole vibe of the hotel was great from the bar, restaurant and certainly the friendly and informative concierge staff. To top it all on my birthday I came back to the room to find a rose, ice bucket with prosecco and chocolates and we did not tell them it was my birthday. Hotel was perfectly located for all the sites couldn't recommend if more. Thanks guys."
"Historic building with really nice room amidst Bucharest's historic pedestrian city center. Excellent Italian restaurant on premises and very helpful staff with things like making change, ordering taxis, etc. Only slight issue is street noise since the district is full of bars and popular with tourists, but this was mild and generally very quiet after 10. Bucharest traffic is epic so great to be just a couple blocks from Piata Unirii metro station. "
"We arrived late at night and the man at reception came out to our taxi to carry our bags ( the hotel is on a pedestrianised street) . He greeted us with a glass of Prosecco and was friendly and helpful. We had requested the morrocan room which we got. The attention to detail in the room was amazing with authentic furniture, furnishings and tiles. Location was excellent and would definitely recommend this hotel."

Nicolae Balcescu Boulevard no.16,District 1, Bucharest, Romania
"I stayed in this hotel back in September 2019, unfortunately only just getting around to reviewing it now but thought I would share my experience! Stayed here whilst in Bucharest for work, the hotel is ideally located in the heart of Bucharest within walking distance from most areas. The hotel itself was lovely. The rooms were huge and well appointed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming which made it a great experience. I had breakfast whilst I stayed here, this was incredible! They take your options from a huge list and freshly prepare your breakfast really quickly. I was impressed with the service and the portions. I would highly recommend this hotel."
"We visited this hotel with my husband for a one night stay. When we made the reservation it was our mistake that we did not take a look if the hotel has or no parking places, but we did not expect from a 4* hotel to not have parking places... I think the hotel was nice, the bed was comfortable, we had a lot of curtains so we could make dark the room for the night.(There were some lights from the outside). The reading light above the bed was not so close to your head, so you couldn’t turn the light on or off without waking up from the bad...?! We couldn’t go outside the balcony because it was locked. There was a small window which we could opened to get some fresh air. Finally I don’t know what kind of windows were put in the room, but I couldn’t sleep at night because of the sounds of the cars and sirens, it seemed like we forgot to close the window...but it was closed... For this price and with this facilities I don’t think we are going to come back here! "
"Hotel is located near the Old City and a metro station, but it doesn’t have a parking so you’ll have to find one yourself in the area. Rooms are generous size, but windows and walls have poor sound isolation so if you get a room which has it’s window towards the bulevard (6 lanes), the noise from cars can be disturbing. Also for this amount of money the breakfast could be included not to mention a swimming pool or small spa at."

5-7 Magheru Boulevard, District 1, Bucharest, Romania
"It’s a solid 4 star hotel. Location is quite convenient too. We loved the decor and interior of this place. Many artworks around (some of which you can actually purchase), bright colors, eccentric setting - we like to stay in original hotels like that. Our room was very clean and nice. The only thing is that the shower was impossible to regulate for a balanced good temperature- it was either going too hot or too cold. Not sure if it’s just our room or the shower equipment in general. The buffet breakfast was not impressive and so super busy. Also, the door right in the middle of the dining was being constantly used by smokers and in February it was cold and you could feel the smoke too. We didn’t even come back to have breakfast the next day (we stayed two nights). The front desk was not very welcoming when we were checking in but when we were checking out the attitude was much friendlier and more polite. The highlight of this hotel for me was the doorman (unfortunately I forgot his name). He saw we were kind of ignored and waited for a long time to check in and he approached us and helped us with luggage (we needed to store it because we arrived earlier than the allowed time to get the room). After we came back he took our luggage upstairs to the room and showed how the elevator worked. This is a good hospitality and professionalism that I respect. "
"I stayed at this hotel in December before Christmas while everything was beautifully decorated for the holidays. I love everything about this hotel. The location is perfect, the lobby and the general decor is absolutely beautiful and brings such a sophisticated touch to the city's atmosphere. The elevator and floors are so precious and make the whole hotel so special. Even walking up and down the staircases is meaningful. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are modern which is important. The breakfast also has everything you could want, including some Romanian specialties and an incredible street view. Overall, this is easily in my top 3 favorite hotels in Bucharest."
"Stayed for two nights in this newly refurbished city hotel. It is located in the center of the city. The receptionist was professionally friendly, but in a way that made you feel it is just her business. Even though the rooms are really nice, WiFi quick and stable (even in the rooms, for free) and the breakfast is decent, the overall experience left a subtle note of not being welcomed as a guest. For example, the staff at the breakfast room was mostly chit-chatting amongst themselves and only caring about cleaning up or refilling, when it was absolutely needed. I might be a bit spoiled here but isn't a Hotel supposed to make you _feel_ as a guest? So, it's definitely a hotel to be recommended for a city trip for a couple nights, but don't expect to be warmly welcomed."

"The InterContinental Romania Bucharest is in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the old town and the hotel has a good view, especially the spa pool area on the top floor🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️"
"The location is very good, the facilities are too old, the smell in the room is not good, the parking fee is expensive, but it is estimated that other hotels will not be better."
