The food is very good, the buffet is rich in variety and changes every day. There are not many people, the facilities and services of the pool and bar are very good. Conditions for snorkeling are mediocre, but the beach is beautiful.

This was my second trip to the Maldives (the first was in 2010 to Kuredu). Overall Outrigger was fantastic, and we are both very glad we chose to come here. The main reason we chose South Ari Atoll was for the increased proximity to whale sharks; the boat trip down to the sighting area was about 30-40 minutes. We were lucky enough to see one on the second trip, in keeping with their odds of about 50:50! The entire Coral watersports team was fantastic, plus having an onsite marine biologist is a really nice touch - she was very knowledgeable & accompanied us on a lot of the excursions; we learned a lot. All of the bar, restaurant, kitchen & cleaning/maintenance staff in general were outstanding and so polite and kind. In particular I would like to name drop Moosa who was our primary point of contact - he was great! He really made the holiday that little bit easier and more relaxing, nothing was too much trouble for him to sort. The Island was beautiful, the overwater pool villas were breathtaking with amazing sunsets. We had Villa 331 which was a Sunset Pool villa, more or less the furthest away from the shore - I would highly recommend it. You also get large shoals of fish, blacktip reef sharks, large fish, & stingrays swimming past the villas - you can also swim a little bit further out to the edge of the island which is the House Reef, where you can also see Turtles and Mantas (Plus white tip reef sharks & even saw one nurse shark). I usually go diving when I'm on holiday but the snorkelling here was so good I really didn't feel the need to. The trip was magical and I really can't fault the resort in any way. The only constructive feedback I would provide is that although the food was excellent & delicious overall, I felt that the quality of the meat in their beef burgers and steaks could be improved - the ribeye and sirloin was more fatty than you would expect, and the burgers were not as juicy as I'm used to back in the UK. Also, there is a bit of a deadzone between 10am-11am where you can't get any food or coffee (breakfast closes at 10am, Koffee & chill opens at 11am & lunch starts at 12pm). There were a couple of occasions where we had been out on early watersports excursions and arrived back around 10am and therefore had to wait an hour before being able to get any food/coffee. 9.5/10, amazing dream holiday and would absolutely not hesitate to come back again next year. Great job to all of the Outrigger team and I'm sure we will be back in the future.

Every hotel in a small island, except for the rare time of meeting, is a private beach and entertainment project. The location of the hotel is invincible and the facilities are complete.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Centara Grand Resort in the Maldives. The entire staff was amazing and incredibly kind throughout my stay. Her warm and friendly demeanor made my check-in process seamless and enjoyable. The Centara Grand Resort is a true paradise, and the exceptional staff, including Nabeel and Chanapha, made my stay even more memorable. I can't wait to return and experience their top-notch hospitality once again.

An extra bed is possible, but there is a charge, I booked directly for 3 people. There are 50 sand houses and 40 water houses built on both sides of the island. I booked the largest high-end water house on the island with a first-class environment. Breakfast is Western-style, with steak spaghetti and so on for dinner.

After staying for six days, the decoration style is ok on the southeast side of the island, and the buffet is good. Apart from being almost on Sunday, there are 2 or 3 favorite dishes every day, especially sweet and sour pork and grilled meat. Prawns are good. But before you start, it ’s best to smell it. Many dishes are European butter flavor ... The coconut we drink seems to be the cheapest US $ 4, the others are US $ 5 or above. There should be no tipping for meals including service charges. I left 2 dollars when I left, and left a little room for cleaning. If you ask a lot on the island or need help, I will give you a point. Snorkeling is okay. Coral reefs are long but small in scale. The north of the island has strong winds and waves. Visibility is not good most of the time. South and west are better. There are many small sharks. There are no adult sharks. I really don't know where to start. I'm really grateful that I had the chance to do this life trip (I'm 39 y.o but I wanted it so badly) 1. Everything was absolutely gorgeous, wish I could add more stars! 2. We booked a sunset water Vila for 13 nights with full board meals extremely cheap (thank you covid) 3. The stuff was amazingly polite and helpful, my big thanks to the reception especially to Bandana, Carlota, Pratima and Hafsa, they very veeeery helpful and smiling too. My special thanks too Ahmed our waiter for our table no290, that unfortunately didn't have the chance to say goodbye and our new waiter Jabarrai. And my gratitude for our housekeeping guy Vishnu️️️ 4. The water villa was so spacious and the balcony too, 74sqm. 5. We had our room twice per day inspected if we needed anything to be changed or missing, like towels, shampoos, coffee etc. 6. The sunbeds on our private balcony are gorgeous and the sunset is breathtaking. 7. All the island is amazingly clean, not even a single piece of paper of cigarette is on the floor, grass or beach (big plus) 8. The variety of food every morning, afternoon and night is quite good and tasty I have to admit, more than we anticipated. 9. You can have a fresh juice or drink in the forest Cafe and its so calm, quiet and beautiful. 10. Tips are not a mandatory, but we gave to everyone that gave us a good time.....
