"Instead of staying at the old town, we chose this Hilton brand hotel. We were able to check into our room earlier. Our original room was 608, a smaller queen bed room. After being in the room for 5 min, I received a text message from the front desk and asked if I was satisfied with the room. I replied, "Our room is in good condition, but we wish our upgrade request could be granted." The front desk responded, "Will check on it and get back to you shortly." Surprisingly, we got a free upgrade and were moved to a much bigger king bed corner room (614)!! This hotel is a green hotel, so it took us a while to get used to the concept (reusable water pouch, no ice bucket, no coffee pot). As compared to another historical hotel, Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, I liked this hotel better- full of history (furniture, doorway, elevator, fountain,...) with adequate updates. Although there is no in-room coffee pot, complementary coffee is served daily in the morning in the library. Generally speaking their service was great. The only area that needed improvement would be housekeeping. Replenishment of Kleenex and water glass (for a broken glass) was not done well. This is a charming hotel for sure. We were impressed by this Hilton Curio hotel. "
"Stayed 3 days in Albuquerque as a base to travel to other areas in NM. We felt very safe at this hotel, staff were wearing and requiring masks and cleaning constantly. The hotel was beautiful and centrally located with quick access to the interstate. The beds were comfortable but there was a gap at the top of the bed where our pillows had a tendency to find. Check in to the hotel from Copper Street then go around 2nd Street to park in the lot marked "valet parking"."
"Wonderful hotel- great music on Friday and Saturday! Tapas bar was great and a nice selection of wine as well. I really enjoyed the reverse osmosis water. Next time I will bring something larger to keep ore in my room. Found out after the fact they would give you a pitcher to use. "
