"We have always stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Northwest Arkansas anytime we were staying or traveling through Rogers, AR. We’ve always had good luck with the hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great hotel amenities, great breakfast, etc. This trip however was not very enjoyable. I will say the staff was very friendly in all areas of the hotel in which we interacted with someone and the room(s) we stayed in were clean and mostly maintained(Room 620 had a leaky sink faucet). We fully understand the hotel, like everyone else, is dealing with the effects of the Corona Virus. We understand their staff is limited and things are just getting up and going again. Our issues though, in our opinion, were created due to the hotel becoming “cheap” in it’s daily expenses of running a hotel. The first issue we ran into was during check in. Being Silver level Hhonors members, we checked in early on the Hhonors App. We chose a corner room on the west side of the hotel, away from the noisy highway. The room we checked into was not available on our arrival. We were told it wasn’t clean and they didn’t know when it would be ready. We were offered a corner room on the highway side of the hotel which we know was very noisy. Reluctantly we checked into this room. As expected, the highway noise was horrible! Neither myself or my husband slept much at all. The next morning we requested to be moved to the quieter side of the hotel. The staff was accommodating and moved us but not into another corner room like we had. We were put in a smaller room which was clean and quiet but not the same type room. Ironically, the room we originally had checked into online, was just then being cleaned but it was not offered to us. We know the room was made available because it given to another guest we met later that day. The second issue we had were many of the amenities were missing from this hotel. Given, some are trivial but nonetheless they are amenities we enjoy and are much of the reason we return to this hotel. The missing amenities range from no hand lotion in the room, only 2 towels(including hand and body towels), and 1 bar of soap. Since their were two of us we had to request more towels and soap from the front desk which were brought up to us but the point is guests should not have to request these things. They should already be in the room. Other shortcomings from the hotel were we were limited to two drinks at happy hour(used to be unlimited), and the hot breakfast was nothing like Embassy Suites is known for. What went from a cook to order, lots of healthy choices, very good breakfast to a powdered eggs, dry bacon, and dry biscuit breakfast. No fruit, no yogurt, no oatmeal. The healthiest thing was a bowl of Raisin Bran. It was like eating a low budget motel continental breakfast. Now you could opt for a “grab and go” breakfast which consisted of a small pastry, piece of fruit, and a yogurt but you were limited to 1 breakfast ticket per guest so you h"
"Met my daughter and family here for a weekend of Triathlon for MS event. Room was great. Read reviews about Noise being a problem, but didn't experience that at all. Rooms felt very clean. They limited how many people were in the pool area, which was a COVID19 issue. 99 percent of people wore masks. My only complaint was I could here highway noise. When I come back next year I will request room on front side of hotel. "
"We always enjoy Embassy Suites. This time Covid restrictions and practices lessened the stay. Pleased with cleanliness practices. Housekeeping was a pain since none was scheduled and it was sometimes hard to ask for things. The nightly price was good. Staff friendly. Breakfast was only OK...but again Covid affected this. Both TV's had problems."
