"I attended a convention here and was there for 3 nights. The room was very nice and comfortable. We had one plumbing problem that was repaired quickly. The bedding was very good. But, the room was never cleaned properly after we got there. Basically all they did was replace the towels and make up the bed. They never even changed out our dirty glasses or mopped the bathroom. Not happy about the cleanliness. The hotel was cold everywhere (our room was fine because we could control it). The conference rooms, hallways, lobby areas, bistro were all very cold. Everyone around us was complaining too. The Bistro is a sorry excuse for a hotel restaurant. It was large with plenty of seating but no table service. The food was somewhere worse than bad. The morning breakfasts were not good and, if you did order anything, it took forever to get it. So, if you expect to stay at a nice hotel and be able to order meals and eat like normal people do, then DO NOT STAY HERE. The breakfasts were free to us and it was worth what we paid. The food was hot, but they serving trays were almost always empty and the food was basically the same each morning although they did change out one item each morning as near as I could tell. The coffee was from a machine and it was undrinkable. Overall, this is a poor excuse for an upscale hotel."
"I can’t say enough about the professionalism of this staff as well as the overall stay. The room was amazing and they went over everything with their Covid protocols. You can really tell that they care about your stay and they want you to enjoy it. Great on all fronts! Thank you from this couple for making our anniversary staycation amazing!!!"
"I think this Courtyard could easily be upgraded to a full Marriott hotel. This is one of the nicest Courtyard hotels that I have ever stayed at and I have over 1,500 lifetime nights in Marriott branded hotels. Very friendly check in, stylish and very modern hotel conveniently located in downtown Ft Smith, AR. Clean comfortable rooms too."

"The hotel is located nicely in the downtown area just 10 minutes drive from the airport. There are many local eateries nearby and a really nice brewery across the street. There is also the National Cemetery and and the Arkansas River within walking distance. The staff was kind and got us our rooms quickly. The room was modern and very spacious. It had a full size pullout couch. The bed was super soft as were the sheets. The bath room was large with a large shower stall. The hotel has an indoor pool and fitness room. The fitness room is large and has treadmills, elliptical machines and bikes. There were also free weights. During Arkansas’s reopening there are some restrictions but the both facilities are open. The hotel also has a large lobby bar that was open as well. The hotel has parking available and there is also street parking. The WiFi was fast and easily connected."
"Never had been here until last week. It is a beautiful hotel connected to a wonderful conference Center. Rooms were nice and personnel were very friendly! The bar was very nice and comfortable with a very relaxing atmosphere! The food in the restaurant was good and the service was fast! If I need to stay again in Ft. Smith AR...no doubt...this is where I will stay!"
"Great experience! Excellent front desk and food was delicious. Loved the cookies. The beds were comfortable! This hotel made it nice for our conference and would go to another one here. The only thing that I wish could be changed was the smell of the room because it smelled like mold. Not sure if that could be changed."

"Stayed at this property and paid a room rate of $77.00 ($88.36 after fees and taxes). I should have paid no more than $60.00 for a one night stay at this property. I walked in to check in and the front desk clerk was friendly and provided good customer service. I had to assume she came in on a day off since she wasn't in any type of uniform. Check in was quick and painless. Went out to park my car and got out all my luggage and me and my wife walked up a flight of exterior stairs to a locked door with the lock broken. So we couldn't get in that way so we went through the front doors and the interior stairs (no elevators) were covered in dust and dirt. Got to the room and was surprised at the decor, was very updated. However there is a lot of wasted space in the room and the bathroom was very small. The furniture that housed the fridge and microwave and television was very damaged with paint missing and several chips in it. The sprinkler head (picture included) was filthy. Thought that would be something easy to clean but oh well. The breakfast was very mediocre. For what I paid I expected better. "
"Nice hotel👍"
"We were in the middle of vacation when the virus pandemic took over. The hotel was clean and comfortable, however, it was obvious that owner was not concerned with up keeping standards during this time. While we understood that the hot breakfast could not be served, it should not mean that one should spare the quality of packaged breakfast goods. There was better options in the vending machine! When asked for simple creamer for coffee, the front desk had to scramble to find two packets. On our return trip this summer we will be using another hotel! "

"My husband had a total hip replacement 10/26/20 at mercy orthopedic hospital in Ft Smith, AR and we live 2 hours away. I needed a place to lay down, sleep for the night, shower, and rest once his surgery was over. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, secure, check in early to rest, and was even willing to give me a late check out (which I ended up not needing). This hotel is perfectly located, super quiet and safe, comfy beds, extra clean, and breakfast was really good with the corona restrictions going on. I would a million times stay here again and hope you do also if in the area. Thanks ladies you are beyond wonderful!!!!!!!"
"I loved my recent stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Fort Smith and will absolutely return if I find myself in the area again. The property is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The rooms are adequately sized, and the beds are comfortable. The location is very convenient. Despite being close to the airport and plenty of dining establishments and shopping options, I didn't notice a lot of noise. The employees that I encountered were friendly, and they seemed to be following Covid-19 protocols. The grab and go breakfast is limited because of the pandemic but had enough options for me."
"For the most part, we were very pleased with the people and facility. The location was very convenient to restaurants and shopping. The room was very spacious and clean. We had the following issues with the amenities, the refrigerator didn't work, the cold faucet in the sink leaked and microwave ovens are only in the suites, When we travel we usually travel for 5-6 weeks, we don't like to pack a lot of clothes. We normally stay at another hotel when visiting Fort Smith because they provide free laundry facilities. This would have been nice. ."

"Outside was clean and well maintained. Check-in was great - front-desk person was friendly, welcoming, helpful & professional. Our suite was sparkling clean and well-sanitized. Great accommodations for a decent price. A few minutes after getting to the room, the Director of Sales, Melissa, came up to personally welcome us, thank us for being Hilton Honors members and gave us a neat drinking glass with a note card and candy in it. Very nice touch! Good towels. Plenty of hot water. Good WI-FI. OK toilet paper. I'm thinking this will be an easy 5-star rating to write. In the room guide book, it said due to Covid-19, they only clean rooms every 3rd day unless requested different. Since we would be there 4 days, it would be good to have the room cleaned in the middle of our stay. I called down and requested a 2nd day cleaning. Front desk said no problem. Saturday came and went, but no cleaning. OK, no big deal. Sunday came and went and still no room clean. We were there 4 days and the room was never cleaned. It became obvious the weekend crew is not as customer-centric as the weekday crew. A member of our party lost their room key Saturday, but after showing several kinds of ID to prove we were who we said we were (appreciated that as good security) the front desk person acted like it was the biggest pain in her neck to swipe another card. No smile, just demeaning, put-out looks. Then Sunday morning a few minutes before breakfast was scheduled to end, us and two other tables of people were still eating when a male staff member closed all the doors to the serving area and began vacuuming the carpet around us. It was a clear message to eat up and get out even though we were seated in an open guest area. Nobody appreciated carpet dust flying around our food. Going in and out several times over the weekend and we never saw a smile or were greeted. Come Monday morning and once again the staff were friendly, smiling and helpful. So, strange as it is, Monday thru Friday, this hotel gets a 5-star rating, but only a 4-star rating for weekends. Even so, the stay was nice enough that we will stay here again as long as it is not just for a weekend."
"We stayed in several Hamptons while on a recent road trip in October during the pandemic. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff at this location. The beds were comfy and there seemed to be attention to detail as far as clean remote control and entrance to the room with a sticker on the door. The previous Hampton we stayed in only offered a brown bag with some pastry items and a water in it so we weren't expecting much for breakfast here either. We were surprised to find that this Hampton was really trying to provide a better breakfast experience than that. They suggested we wear a plastic glove to serve ourselves breakfast sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, fruit and other items. Each were wrapped in Saran wrap. What a great idea! One of the best parts was the mango or berry smoothie. It was good and very filling. Thanks for making us feel safe!"
"Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with two two year olds and lots of luggage and despite the terrible twos this hotel is always one of the nicest places we stay for comfort, family events and just to plain getaway!"

"Chris took my reservation via telephone and he could not have been nicer. When I arrived, Julie could not have been nicer. The hotel is so clean and quiet. Hats off to the cleaning staff. The breakfast choices were excellent and well prepared. The dining area was so clean. Hats off to the woman who is responsible for the breakfast. The location was perfect and very safe. It is near several good places to eat in Fort Smith. Hats off to the hotel manager and all of the staff for providing a great place to stay in Fort Smith."
"Our second visit here -- and we thank Krista for taking care of our ever-changing travel plans. Windows are screened and open for a breeze, bath tubs in the 2-Bedroom, ice machine on the first floor and gracious Molly at the Desk in the morning. Sadly, the virus has closed the fitness room and limited breakfast to a grab bag (muffin, OJ, apple) -- but they still have those wonderful hand-packed, fat-free RI Greek yogurts. Tough times for everyone but thanks to GM Amber for keeping the doors open and everything running smoothly."
"I really enjoyed my stay here albeit a short one. I saw one review about poor food. I felt the breakfast was about normal for hotels. I stay in many places and was not concerned one bit about the food. Service was awesome from the young lady that checked me in to the young lady that checked me out. Was greeted, smiled upon, and given the utmost courtesy. Outdoor pool if you are staying in the winter. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean."

"While driving 2,200 miles from Flagstaff to DC, the male half of IllyCoffeeDrinkers and one of our kids pulled off I-40 and spent a December Sunday night here. The other reviews seem to go two ways for this hotel, pretty nice for a pet friendly hotel or poorly maintained. For our 30th hotel review, on the positive side we found this La Quinta to have a friendly staff, including the very outgoing breakfast host, well-lit parking, and an affordable and comfortable clean double queen bed room with an effective heater, three pillows per bed, numerous outlets by the beds and plenty of hot water in the morning. The breakfast bar was decent but not over the top; it offered eggs, sausages, waffles, pancakes, biscuits, apples, bananas, bagels, bread, muffins, cereal, yogurt, orange juice, apple juice and mild coffee. On the negative side, the room came with only one coffee and decaf coffee packet each and had a very simple/dull contemporary décor with no art or mirrors on any walls (good or bad) (photo attached). The main downside of the room was the overall poor craftsmanship in its construction. For example, the bathroom door knob was poorly installed and had an open gap between the bathroom and the bedroom, the caulk in the shower looked like it was applied by a two-year-old, and an electrical outlet had paint on it and was poorly fitted to the wall (two photos attached). Our bottom line, we like to stay in nicer rooms that are well constructed and have pleasant decor, this La Quinta did not fill the bill for us. Unless they carry out a skilled remodeling, we would not stay here again. If you found this review helpful and/or our photos helpful or pleasing, we hope you will click the “helpful/thank you” button. Those of us who write detailed reviews appreciate the feedback and it encourages us to write additional reviews for everyone’s consideration. Thank you."
"This was an overnight stay with my dog while passing through the area. The hotel was clean (although the cleaning product they use permeates the entire building and is not a pleasant smell), staff were efficient, and breakfast was basic but fresh. A semi truck sat running in front of the hotel for several hours and could be heard inside. Thankfully the truck left before bedtime. There is an Outback Steakhouse across the parking lot and very convenient with curbside pick-up. Cookies and beverages at front desk upon check-in are always a nice touch."
"Went here on a spur-of-the-moment decision. The property was easy to find and in a great location next to shops and restaurants. Jordan was at the front desk and was very professional and helpful when we checked in. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was scaled back significantly because of covid-19. The only issue we had was the TV remote. Jordan tried to help but was not successful. The outside was very well illuminated. They were pet friendly and only charged $10 to have our little dachshund with us."

"My travels brought me to this mecca of civilization amongst the untamed wilderness known as Arkansas. As you may already know, Arkansas is still living in the past. By that I mean their stance on alcohol sales. There is an abundance of dry countries in this state, but thank God that the country that Fort Smith isn't one of them. I've stayed in nearby Russellville before, and you can't buy any st there store there which blows. However, the state doesn't sale alcohol on Sundays. Very regressive. Anyways, this hotel is not too bad. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. My only gripe about the hotel is that they only service the rooms once a week, and ours never were serviced. Despite running out of towels our crew still prevailed at the dam. Providence was on our side! This place also allows pets too. Boom! "
"The room value for price was great. In our room, queen bed, full size refrigerator cook top plenty of storage, really a comfortable room, 2 TVs sofa recliner bathroom was larger than expected gas grill outside and free laundry room on site. Staff checking in was easy and super friendly, knowledgeable on the area. I spoke to the mgr later that day he was courteous even the housekeepers where friendly, when I approached them for a few extra towels. location was great close to the airport hospital and food, local historic sites and points of interest in the area. "
"It was a great place to stay! It's close to a lot of eating establishments. A grocery store is next door. There's small kitchenettes in the rooms, so were able to make a small meal for ourselves, comes with plates, eating utensils and microwave. The doors are really heavy and woke me up during the night with guests going in and out of them. Lobby furniture has seen better days and the grounds needed to be picked up. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!"

"I have never had a hotel experience as bad as this. I checked into the Aspen around 4pm on a Thursday. When I got to the room, on first look, everything seemed to be in order. However, I quickly noticed that there was an empty plastic water bottle on one of the two beds that had a hand written note that was inside. I took this bottle down to the front desk to show it to the young woman who checked me in. Obviously, there was nothing for her to do about it, I only thought that she should know about the poor job that “housekeeping” had done in this room. I might add that this woman at the front desk was the only bright spot at the hotel. I was to need to call attention to the housekeeping problem again. The next day I departed the hotel around 9am for the day. There was a small blue/white sign to Lea we on the dole; the white side out meant “ Do Not Disturb”. The blue side out meant “ Please Make-Up the Room”. I checked and double checked to be certain that I was leaving the blue-side out to have the room serviced. When I arrived back to the hotel after 8pm that night, the sign was still on the door, and the blue-side was still out. However, the room had not been cleaned. Again, I reported this to the same woman at the desk who apologized again and made a note to discuss with management. At the same time I reported that neither the telephone in the room was operating (there was no wire/cord to connect to the wall outlet, nor was the clock-radio working. Again, she made this note to management. The next day I again left the hotel around 8:30/9am for the day. This day I didn’t leave the sign on the door at all. When I returned I was initially pleased to see that the bed had been made-up, but unfortunately, as soon as I walked into the bathroom I was both shocked and upset to see that two days worth of dirty towels were still on the floor of the room. Housekeeping had been in there and left fresh soap but left the dirty towels for the first two days on the floor. Again, I reported this. I would have moved to another hotel right then, but I was staying there because I had 3 cousins also staying there, and it would have been a lot of trouble to move, and we didn’t really know how long we would be in town as we were there because my 99 year old uncle was in Hospice care, and we had been called to come to Fort Smith right away. The cousins and I had come from Indiana, Colorado, and California. At this stage I told the nice lady at the desk to suggest to “management” that I thought to make things “ right”, they should “comp” one night. Well, here is the response that I received from a man at the front desk the next morning. He said that he had checked with Housekeeping re the first day when they didn’t clean the room at all and that it was my fault because I had left the white-side out, the side that says “do not disturb”. This is not true as I double checked before I left that morning that the blue-side was out as well as the same when I returned that ni"
