Seestrasse 18, Vitznau, Lucerne, Switzerland
"Very good hotel, winter is definitely not as perfect as summer, but I am already amazing, the pool water is hot, there are small hot springs, steaming ice room is complete, la prairie free trial after bath, breakfast You can order the Michelin plate, and the taste is quite good. I called to eat in the room at night, it was delicious! I also gave wine and helped decorate the room! Will come again if I have a chance"
"Although the price is the most expensive, it is definitely worth owning. The hotel is near the lake, there is an infinity pool spa, drinks and nuts, the facilities in the room are very high-tech, and the extra bed is very comfortable. You need to order your own breakfast. Class restaurant, the last salmon was beautifully prepared for breakfast, I'm sorry to ask for 4 servings, and the scenery is beautiful."
"Environment is great, meals are very good"

40 Balm, Muotathal, Schwyz, Switzerland
"This was a birthday suprise for three nights, unfortunatly on the first night they were fully booked but we had two 'single rooms' but both had a double bed in, so we only used one. then moved to an adjesent room on the second night. The staff were brilliant on the first full day the lady behind reception told us about a walk up in the mountans and said it was worth the walk and money to get up there and boy she was not wrong. on the second day we went on a walk woth the Huskys they have there and that in its self was worth going for. My parrtners fav dog is the husky and even though it was my suprise it made the whole holiday. The staff were so welcoming and tried their hardest to make us feel at home. They had a 'spa' area just some steam rooms a cold pool and some recling chairs, this just added to it, All set by a beautiful River. Only one slight downfalll, all the flys got on your nerves a bit, but everything else made up for it."
"The husky experience was amazing!!! Behind the restaurant there are roughly 40 huskies and you learn about the dogs before you go out on the sleds. The staff were great and the dogs were amazing. The restaurant on the premise was also very good and the staff were super nice. If this review was based on the hotel itself I would give 3 stars. While it was clean it was very basic. The bathroom had a bad odor and it was lacking small touches like a kettle, toiletries (body wash was provided but no lotion, conditioner, etc.) Value for money was not great however there was a sauna available and breakfast was included. Overall this stay was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend. "
"We really liked our time at the Husky Lodge. The dogs are so friendly and playful and clever. The rooms were nice and the restaurant was lovely, with good food. We also really enjoyed the sauna and the staff at reception was very helpful. Our one disappointment was that the husky 2-hour activity - the main reason we came and stayed here - was in German only, so we understood nothing. And sadly two ladies who did the activity spoke English but made minimum effort to translate for us despite our request, just enough that we know what to do and not disrupt others. This is Switzerland so if not English than at least French translation should be offered - it is an official language here after all. So that spoiled a bit the experience, but other than that it was a lovely place and super dogs!"

Waldstätterquai 6, Brunnen, Schwyz, Switzerland
"We chose to stay in Brünnen primarily for its proximity to Stoos, where hiking is spectacular. But discovering Seehotel Waldstaetterhof has given us another reason to come back to Brünnen. The location is ideal: right on the lake with great view and a stone's throw from the boat dock. Train station is also in walking distance and there is a bus in case you have luggage. The lobby is clean, bright and tastefully decorated; complementary fruit, coffee/tea and water are provided in the lobby and throughout public areas. Our standard room is spacious, with a nice shower. Breakfast, included in the reservation, is a feast, with Swiss specialties as well as a variety of international options. On a nice day, you can have breakfast outside by the lake. A wonderful perk is the free access to the extensive spa area, which includes a pool, sauna, steam room and a jacuzzi on the rooftop. We stayed during the Aug 1 Swiss National Holiday, and Brünnen is close to Rütli Meadow, considered the birth place of the Swiss Confederacy. There were multi-day celebration activities Brünnen, which gave us a chance to interact with locals. On the night of Aug 1, we watched fireworks on the lake front, sitting on the lounge chair in the hotel's swimming area. Receptionist and staff really went out of their way to make our stay super memorable! The rate is not cheap (not exorbitant either, considering Swiss standard), but considering the excellent location, impeccable service, access to the spa and all other perks (minibar -- with beer, soda and snacks -- is completely free), it is a fantastic value. Cannot wait to return!"
"Stayed here in 2nd week of Oct. What a lovely hotel, and what an even better location, stunning views of the lake and hills, Mountains in distance with a splattering of snow, can imagine winter with full snow even better. Lovely big room although bathroom could do with a big of an update, maybe white tiles and better shower. Reception light and airy, good feel about about hotel, dining area lovely. Food was great and Manager greeting was a nice touch. Coffee / Tea and Fruit in lounge areas nr stairs was a nice touch as well. All staff friendly and helpful. Nothing bad to say really, and again location is stunning."
"Hello Friends You may be thinking I am doing many voyages at right now. You would be correction!! I arrived here with my family, and was much happy to see a see (which is for lake in Swiss.) I did have breakfast, which went down without too much violence as I have a history of buffet bonanza!! We also did walkings (outside the hotel and in.) how happiness!!! On Switzerland’s birthday, we enjoyment a large dinner on the lake ( do not concern, we did not get wet!) my holiday of the dreams!"

Seestrasse 10, Unterageri, Zug, Switzerland
"We stayed here few days after new year, just to have a relaxing weekend. We didn't regret coming here and staying for a night. The hotel is nice and clean, they have a nice view of the lake. I think the reviews are outdated because our experience here was far from everyone else. The restaurant served us really good food. I don't think we have a poor taste when it comes to food, restaurant and hotel. They have a very friendly staff especially in the restaurant. We have been to places and this hotel is obviously underrated. We would like to go back to again sometime in spring or summer."
"Participated in company event. Location is really nice in a beautiful area, especially when the weather is nice. Had a few meals at the restaurant and it was underwhelming. The staff was nice, and trying hard to serve well. The disappointment came with the quality of the food served: soup with virtually no taste, “rose meat” had the right color, but was dry (possibly because had been prepared long before). Overall, even if you are there for an event, would recommend to try out different restaurants in the village."
"The hotel was good, and the breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. However, the best part of this hotel is its proximity to the lake. It is only a two-minute walk to the lake which is very nice. The hotel is also close to a few shops such as Mueller and a grocery store. "

Schibernstrasse 2, Vitznau, Lucerne, Switzerland
"The hotel is built on a hillside. The building has a history of nearly 90 years. The interior space of the hotel is very distinctive. The invincible view of Lake Lucerne is outside the window in the morning. The breakfast is very good, and the view from the restaurant window is also pleasant. The hotel is suitable for staying for a few days in a daze. Walk along the road below the hotel for about 2 kilometers, from the small road to Mount Rigi, you can enjoy another unique scenery and experience."
"The scenery is invincible, the key price is also close to the people, the air is not good for tourists, and it is very comfortable. Ctrip has strong skills, and our basic needs are all solved in the APP. If you can't make a decision, ask the human service to solve it. It's awesome, thanks to the service of Ctrip.com."
"Old houses, facilities can not have too high expectations, rooms are relatively small. The scenery is so beautiful, facing the lake (Figure 1). The surrounding environment is also very beautiful. Breakfast is included, the restaurant is also facing the lake, and the meal is definitely tuned. But the location is very biased, it seems that you must travel by car, parking lots are many, free."

Oberdorfstrasse 26,Postfach 164, Beckenried, Nidwalden, Switzerland
"What a delightful spot this really is! Situated 15 mins walk from the village of Beckenried, up the hill towards the highway (but not disturbed by it in any way) sits the Schluessel B&B. The views are amazing over Lake Lucerne and the scattered pretty village houses below. We had Room 7 (in the upper house) which is spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Parking was also available close by. The breakfasts were super; lots of choice and with a lake view thrown in to start off your day! We took dinner here one evening which was cooked by Daniel (the owner) - classical & very lovely indeed. Certainly the best Swiss food we encountered on our trip. All the staff; Katya & Stephanie in particular were great and always so very helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our walks into the village (three restaurants, a small supermarket, a few cafes, some lovely houses and a boat stop to various towns on the lake). Charming really. Lucerne itself was absolutely worth a visit. Take the boat rather than the car - it’s about CHF 50 return but a great way to arrive & see the City & the Lake. Overall, a lovely stay and one we would happily repeat in the near future. Thank you very much for such warm hospitality."
"If you are in the Lucern area a trip to the Hotel Schlussel in Beckenried is a must. You will be greeted with an old world style of warmth and hospitality by hosts, Gabrielle and Dani Aschwanden-Huber. It is hard to express the attention to detail managed by the hosts and their staff. My recent visit there was one of many and with each the experience memorable and satisfying in every respect. If a weekend retreat is what you are looking for you'll discover the uniqueness of every room charming and comfortable in ways you can't imagine. There are no menus but rest assured the food is prepared in a way that every need by patrons is met by the chef. Wine is paired with each course and service is perfectly timed for a complete and satisfying dining experience. Views of Lake Lucern are magnificent from every room and if it's your first visit to the area helpful tips for sightseeing and outdoor activities are available."
"Definitely one of the best boutique hotels I have been to. The staff, owners and all involved were always super helpful and friendly. Rooms were spotless and the breakfast was a feast of the local regional selection. Dinner was to die for and lives up to the Michelin logo on the front of the hotel, all the food was fresh, regional and biological. The hotel is super quirky and has an old nostalgic feel whilst still being modern. The shared coffee, beer, tea (or whatever you want) area is very clever with little terraces on the higher levels. The rooms cater for all different types of people, with each designed individually! I am very impressed at Danni, his wife and his team and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore this beautiful part of Switzerland!"

Dorfstrasse 47, Emmetten, Nidwalden, Switzerland
"I stayed at Hotel Engel between 24 and 28 March in room no 305 on a bus holiday with Edwards Coach Holidays. The room was clean with two comfortable single beds, TV and an on sweet shower and toilet. No Mini Bar or Kettle Breakfast was continental in style including, cereal, bread cold meat and cheese, yogurt and fruit. Plenty of Tea and coffee but no hot food. The evening meal consisted of three courses with a choice of main course on four days. More food was offered every evening. The hotel has a small bar with 0.5L beer costing 5.6 swiz Franks. We had a singer / organist on one evening. It is important to take an outdoor key if you go outside the building in the late evening. The staff in the hotel were always helpful and friendly. Outside the hotel there is a supermarket opposite and to the right and a cable car running to the top of the mountain 5 minutes’ walk to the left. The Hotel kindly organised a discount on the cable car which cost 17 swiz Franks return per person. Cars run on the hour and on the half with the last car descending the mountain at 17:00. At the top of the Mountain there is a good restaurant and coffee shop with stunning views weather permitting. "
"Had a lovely short break here. The staff is very friendly, especially the owner. We arrived just after 2pm and the kitchen had just closed and due to the off-season any restaurant would be closed in the area. The owner kindly offered to prepare a lasagne which we were all to happy to accept. We had a nice, modern, large room and it was spotless. We also had a meal in the restaurant and it was really nice homely food. We will come back."
"I stayed here with an EF tour group in June of 2019. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the food was good. The heavy comforter was a bit much for a June stay but with the ability to open the widows the night atmosphere was pleasant. It was one of my favorite hotels of the trip!"

Buochserstrasse 54, Beckenried, Nidwalden, Switzerland
"Very good place. Had lake on one side and green mountains on the other side. The scenic beauty is enchanting. The place is little far from (2 transfers) Lucerne. People who like calm and greenish views will like this location. The restaurant food is also nice. Rooms are neat n tidy. Comfortable as well. You can also transport via cruise from the backside of the hotel. On the way to the hotel from Stans there are nice views and a huge park is available. "
"The view is good, the room is a little smaller, there is a parking space, the breakfast is good (especially the freshly baked croissant), the lake can swim. The parking space is tight at dinner time, the environment is a bit noisy (foreigners often meet),"
"The environment is very good. Next to Lake Lucerne. I feel that summer should be especially beautiful. It is very cold in winter. You can't sit outside and eat and enjoy the lake. There is a parking lot. It is recommended to come to the lake to live."
