From the first moment that we walked into the hotel we were met by very friendly and polite staff. We were given first class reception. During our stay we could not fault anything about the hotel and especially 'ALL' of the staff, who were impeccable and they should be commended for this. The attention to detail was flawless and we will certainly be returning and recommending to all of our friends.

If your looking for a top hotel in Benalmadena then book this one .The hotel and the staff are excellent . The breakfast was absolutely lovely with a little glass of Prosecco . Both pools were immaculate and the spa was wonderful and included in the price .The room was really nice with perfect air conditioning and a really comfy massive bed with e/suite rain shower .will return very soon.

The English at the front desk is not particularly good. The buffet dinner is more cost-effective than the surrounding Italian restaurants. The daughter is 15 years old and counts as a child. In the hotel you can see the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel pool is very iced. It is recommended to put some towels next to the hotel. The night view around the hotel is beautiful, and there is a very meaningful museum.

The facilities are generally the same, the relatively old hotel, the service staff is relatively small, but there is a large balcony, can look at the sea, not bad, the room is as small as most hotels in Europe, no surprises and no disappointment.

It was a great pleasure to stay at this beautiful hotel again. The hotel offers a great location, and a free shuttle service to the beach and other locations in town. It has several pools, but the most impressive is the Infinity Pool on the top floor of the hotel overlooking the beach and the beautiful landscape. Our suite was very impressive and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was delicious with a variety of food and champagne included. If you like sports the hotel has tennis, paddle and volleyball courts as well as a gym. The following individuals made our stay very special : Natalia, Bartolome, Miguel and Pablo at the reception desk. Estefania at the breakfast buffet. David and Rafael at the Infinity Pool.

This hotel is along the Mediterranean, with a beautiful scenery. It is convenient to take the city railway to the urban area, airport and train station.

Hotel is located close to train and bus station and beach across the road . Overall our stay was very pleasant - rooms need attention - bedside table and dressing table are exactly that - cheap tables with no storage space . Bathroom also lacks storage space . Shampoos soap and toilet paper the cheapest of the cheapest . These small things don’t go unnoticed and all add to overall impression of the hotel . This hotels greatest asset is its staff who are so kind and friendly . Definitely not 4* rating in my view .

Great central location, great facilities Lovely well equipped rooms and a fantastic breakfast. Pool area looked nice for the warmer months. All the staff were polite and friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if in the area. Ask for the upper floors to get the best views .

We visited 3rd to 13th July with Jet2 Holidays, if we return we would get a private taxi to hotel, 20 mins versus an hour + on the bus. Check in nice and straight forward, reception is decorated to a high standard and is on the 8th floor( street level) , hotel has 12 floors, beach and pools being 1st floor and buffet restaurant on 7th floor. Room spacious enough only gripe was lack of hangers, around 8 of them between 2 adults …take a few of your own. Room cleaned daily and if you want towels changed drop them all in the bath to ensure you get fresh ones. Buffet restaurant was lovely , beautiful view of the ocean from the 7th floor. Yes there was repetition but food was always hot and the salad bar plentiful with choice, staff constantly monitored the stations wiping clean the smallest drip or spill. Drinks service was relaxed but once you got know the waiting staff they often remembered your drinks choices and appreciated us making an effort with attempts at Spanish even just a please and thankyou goes a long way, big thankyou to Cosme Rodreguez who greeted everyone with a big smile 😃 and was very attentive no matter how busy his section was. We used the BThai ala carte once as it unfortunately only opens Thursday to Sunday and had a lovely meal. We had the option to have an ala carte lunch at la Bonita beach restaurant however the temp was 35-40 degrees due to heatwave so we opted for the air conditioned buffet instead. We used the beach during the day and had to pay 14 euros for 2 loungers with padded cushion and parasol each visit, with 3 days to go a section was cordoned off with signs for use by hotel Benalma only, the people who owned them then covered the signs with paper and explained they were waiting for the hotel to sign a contract for them, so we had to continue to pay the same lady for the rest of the stay, would be great if the beach loungers were free for hotel guests rather than the add expense. Hotel Beach bar close to beach front and again staff were always polite and again remembered drinks choices, a big shout to Adrian Sederno who’s English was perfect but genuinely appreciated our pigeon Spanish 😃. Overall couldn’t fault the Hotel and can see us returning in the future.

Just returned from this Hotel and we had a lovely 5 day break . Everyone from the front desk to the bar staff and cleaners were very friendly and helpful . We loved the fact that you didn’t have to rush up in the morning for breakfast as it was on until 11am plus no fighting for sun beds there were plenty. Only downside I would say is , if your all inclusive other than the main restaurant and a pool bar selling sandwiches each day there wasn’t anything else , so you would have to walk up to level 7 to use the main restaurant if you wanted anything other than a sandwich but in all honesty this was not a problem for us as was quite happy with a sandwich and drinks round the pool on a couple of the days . If you had kids it might have been a bit of a trek for some chips or a bit of pizza . Food in the restaurant was nice and plenty of choice. Would definitely return .

I visited the Angela Hotel from 1-9 November and I must say that I really enjoyed my stay. I was checked in by Manuela and Juan who were great and very helpful. I was allocated a room for my needs which I appreciated. My room was a decent size and very clean. It was cleaned daily to a high standard with plenty of towel and bedding changes. The bed was very comfortable. The amenities in the room include a kettle with coffee and tea, safe, wifi and a mini fridge (payable). the bathroom was also a decent size and clean but could possibly do with an upgrade. The balcony has 2 good quality chairs and a small table. My room was on the street side above the reception area and I still had a view of the sea. I'm glad that I chose the half board option which is excellent value. The food at both breakfast and dinner was very tasty with plenty of choice and hot when it should be. The bar/lounge is fantastic with great entertainment every night. The bonus is a happy 2 hours from 8-10. I congratulate the management and all staff for providing excellent service, thank you. I will definitely stay at the Angela again.

Returned yesterday from the Angela. The staff in the restaurant are hard working one person (extremely bossy and loud) ordered us to our seat. Saying you cant sit there (terrible attitude). She had to make a table up as it was overcrowded. Clearly people didn't like her. The first evening we arrived late (delayed as usual) with Tui the restaurant had placed some food on plates (slop I would call it) the food didn't get much better throughout the 10 day we were there. On the last morning the restaurant does not open till 7.30 we had to meet the coach at 8.05, also 15 mins before pick up we managed to have a quick drink and grab a sandwich. Clearly the hotel wanted to get rid of the guests asap. Salads not good and most of the food was warm. The drinks in the bar were overpriced if you didn't get down in time for happy hour 7-9 pm. The beds were very soft. We paid for a fridge but the safe was free. Also the WI-FI is rubbish started at 72Mbps and sometimes dropped to 1. The refurbishment in the bedroom was cheap. The best thing about the holiday was the indoor pool for me as soon as breakfast finished I had the pool to myself. Would we come again not a chance.

Lovely hotel, very clean and modern apartment. Unfortunately we were located above the ventilation for the laundry/technical room so not a minute day or night that didn't sound like we were next to a factory! We were in room 515 and really this room and the rooms above and below should be blocked off. Not only the constant noise but various smells, some nice....washing, some not so great.....school dinners!
We did ask to move rooms immediately but only 2 rooms with small double beds were offered and we liked the large twin beds.
Would definitely stay again but only if we could guarantee to be away from the ventilation system.
The only other issue... we fancied eating dinner in the restaurant one evening. On arrival, we asked if there were vegetarian options as it's a buffet. The guy told us to go to the snack bar!
Overall a great place for a holiday, just not in room 515!

Very good hotel. Great spa although the steam shower did not work. Details in the room such as water and chocolates
It was cold in the rooms, you could only put the air conditioning, the hot air is not plugged in. They provided us with blankets but when you are out of bed you have to be warm. I recommend it if you want to spend a few quiet days go now in low season . Good deals and peace of mind.
