Modern hotel on the outskirts of Acireale with all things you would expect from an All Accor hotel. Pleasant, helpful staff on arrival got us settled in nicely. Good size room with large bathroom. In fact the bathroom was bigger than our whole room in Singapore!🤣 Room had everything you need for a short stay. WiFi and air con worked well. Good breakfast but watch out for the kitchen staff…..they’ll have your table cleared before you come back from getting another brew! After that, we made sure one of us stayed at the table when the other went for a top up. We only had one small problem with the room which we mentioned to reception staff and that was sorted out before our return later that day, thank you. Be mindful this hotel is out of town and only one restaurant within walking distance (it was shut for 2 weeks when we stayed!) Large shopping complex is right next door, handy for bits and bobs and to stock up the fridge. Enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to book here again.

It's a very nice Ibis. The room are quite larger than other Ibis hotels. The hotel staff are vey polite and helpful. The breakfast is good enough. However the location is far away from the city center. The dinner is a huge problem since there are only two restaurants around the hotel.

We last stayed here 4 years ago for one night before our flight home the following day. We decided to do the same again this year and our stay was once again very good. Our room was overlooking the courtyard which was absolutely fine. It was spacious with a really nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The key card entry system to get into the room once again foxed us for a few minutes. We visited the roof top bar for a drink after eating out and were surprised at how quiet it was, I guess the hospitality industry is still suffering to some extent. This really is a fabulous spot and we very much enjoyed our drink. We payed extra for our breakfast to enjoy the view of Etna, which undoubtable is lovely. The last time we stayed we were offered table service and a great selection of hot food this time it was a self service buffet, there was a good choice and some hot options, however a little pricy. You clearly are paying extra for the view. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. When we are next in Sicily we will definitely return.

Our “premium” room Very comfortable & Clean, Excellent staff, Good location. Breakfasts good - special mention of brilliant hi-tec bean to cup coffee machine & super efficient waitress. Our Only (constructive criticisms) 1. small paper cups in bedrooms - possibly thought to be less likely spread of Covid virus - but china cups if washed in dishwasher = virus killed & would have been much nicer to drink from 2. Awful repetitive, jazzy piano music piped quite loudly to all common areas - not to our taste at all. And we wonder how many guests share the management’s taste 3. Some of the food poor in our “Group” meals - in particular the meat (tough, dry, sauce over salted), but fish very good But expect the dining experience would have been better for individuals, rather than a large group - always difficult to cater for. Overall we would recommend the hotel.

Don’t get scared by the entrance : hardly visible this may surprise you. However the street address is the correct one and the best is to come once you passed the door, as for ex. the nice patio. The hotel offers modern design in a typical “boutique” type environment, all this packed in an old building which kept some of its architectural features. The design of the rooms has minimalistic decoration and layout which can be expected, except for the missing cupboard space for our clothes (had to leave them in the suitcase). We liked the spacious rooms, comfortable beds and large bathroom (wished there would be 2-3 hooks to hang our wet towels… and it takes for ever to get hot water), reversible AC (i.e. if you are cold, just set the temperature adequately), large oversized flat screen TV, excellent WIFI. Breakfast buffet was overall outstanding with fresh products, warm scrambled eggs & bacon, cheese … we just wish we had better choice of bread (the only “non sweet” choice was a brown square bread that you had to toast to enjoy). All the personnel, (reception, breakfast/restaurant and cleaning) were friendly and, when needed, helpful. For a 3 stars hotel, Habitat deserves an ”Excellent” rating.

We stayed in two junior suites at this hotel, which is centrally located. The rooms were modern and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was parking available close to the hotel, which was convenient. The highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing breakfast. There were many locally-sourced and homemade products available, making it one of the best breakfasts we had during our trip to Sicily. You could tell that everything was made with high-quality ingredients and care. However, the hotel's central location meant that it was not very quiet, especially due to the bars across the street. In addition, we had an issue with a smelly toilet in our room. Despite these drawbacks, we would still recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a centrally located hotel with a modern touch and friendly staff, even if it comes at the cost of a bit of noise. The incredible breakfast alone is worth the stay.

The hotel is great, the most central part of Catania, in the middle of the church and Elephant Square, but very quiet and private. The whole hotel has a good smell of aroma, simple but not simple, the bed is very comfortable, sleepless every day. The staff is very good, the English is OK, there are a lot of delicious people around, they will also give you advice. There are homemade toiletries, carefully crafted with Sicilian fruit, great. There is a private spa room on the first floor, you have to book in advance, the technique is very good ~ cost-effective. The room is very spacious, Italy has lived the largest room, hahaha

A hotel with a sense of design, each room is different. Very close to the cathedral, downstairs is a convenience store. It is about 1.5 kilometers from the railway station (bus station) and can be walked without baggage. From the train station to the hotel, 3 people with 4 pieces of luggage to take a taxi, bargaining 15 euros. From the hotel to the airport is the front desk to help call the car, a price of 20 euros. Breakfast is 15 euros.

Staying in the Asmundo di Gisira is like staying in an art gallery with changing collections. I noticed new pieces compared to last year. The location is perfectly close to the fish market, the Piazza del Duomo and the remains of the Greek theater. Walk 15 minutes and you easily get to other main sites like the Monastero dei Benedettini di San Nicolo. Just walk outside, get submerged in local life, and enjoy the great restaurants of Catania. This year some of the streets around were closed and turned into a pedestrian area. The staff is extremely helpful and the breakfast will cater all: yoghurt, fruit, charcuterie, local cheeses, granola and excellent coffee! It is feels nice to come home to the hotel in a comfortable and relaxing setting after a long and hard day walking, eating and sipping Etna wines!

The location is average, but very new, the room is large, if you need two rooms, it is strongly recommended to set up a family room of 85 square meters, super large, the practical area of 85 square meters, there are eight balconies, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one large living room. The mini bar and coffee are free.

The room is very large and comfortable, the bed is big, the hot water is strong, and the breakfast is pretty good. There is no charge for parking. The network is also very good. Be careful when you go in and look for it, and don't go the wrong way.
