The rooms are small but well equipped and very clean. If it is a double occupancy, remember to ask for another quilt (the quilt is super small), and the coffee machine next to the front desk is awesome. If it is an overnight transfer without inbound luggage, it is very suitable. But if you want to pick up your luggage halfway, don't book it, because you have to go out of the country and then re-check in, and then re-enter, and you have to go through security checks. It was very convenient for us to stay one night through the direct luggage transfer on our outbound trip. We couldn't take out our luggage through the direct luggage transfer on our return trip because it was too late (22:00) and the security check and immigration were off duty, so we didn't even get to stay. So embarrassing.

The room is small, but clean and convenient. It is the best choice for those who do not have a Schengen visa

This hotel is the red headed step child to the Sheraton next door. There is no lounge at this hotel (The one in the Sheraton is closed too). You get breakfast, which is quite good, instead...but of course it's at the Sheraton. Also, the Sheraton lounge, which you're supposed to have access to is closed with some strange green lock box on it. The room was nice, and spotless. Finding it was very easy by car using Google Maps, but the crowd of people smoking around the parking garage entrance smelled terrible and wafted a bit into the hotel. After I dropped off my car at the rental desk (In Terminal 2), figuring out that I had to go to Terminal 1 kind of like going to the banhoff there was confusing at best. Everything closes here at 10:30, even room service, so don't expect food if you get in late beyond some cold things in the display case. The room itself was great. I was upgraded to a suite with two bathrooms, and a living room. The master bathroom vent did not work, so you you did anything smelly in that bathroom, you would have to live with it for some time. Fortunately, I soon realized that the vent in the ”guest bathroom” worked, so handled those things there. The biggest issue was the electrical. There are master switches that turn everything off. Some are on the bed, some are by the doors, if you turn that off, then you can't turn on any bathroom light without going back to the bed, turning on all the switches on the side of the bed until you get the master one...then blinding yourself because you've turned on every light in the room accidentally. Super confusing. The plus side is there is a nice not blinding light near the bed you can use...if you can figure out what to turn on/off to get it on by itself. The refrigerator is one of those stupid vending fridges like they have in Vegas etc...but they aren't using it (yet?) so there is no room in there for your stuff. 2 German beers and a water bottle, and you're done. The internet was a just okay 30Mbps. It was surprisingly quiet in spite of being between a train station and an airport. Also, to the author of ”“Hard to find and no privacy in bathroom”, an earlier review, complaining about the X and Y on the wall as towel hangers...perhaps you didn't notice the other letters everywhere else too. This hotel is located about 20 miles away from Maintz, where Gutenberg invented the printing press. Your subtle slap in the face really was just your lack of education and American privilege showing.

Because of the bad management of Cologne Bonn Airport, we missed the flight after 2 hours in the queue for security check. Another 3 hours of waiting for the luggage, we then booked the new flight on the next day from Frankfurt so we needed to have a room next to airport for our good rest, and we made the choice here. The hotel was easy to find, right when you came up from the train station. Lufthansa drop off luggage counters were just in front of the hotel, we surely had enough time for security check. The hotel itself was unbelievable quiet and perfectly clean. Everywhere spotless! We booked a Club room, the lounge was sharing with Sheraton at Sheraton Club. The Bento set was in good portion, not too much, and not too less. The benefit of evening hours from 5-10 pm was really good, really made us comfort from our long and tired day. It was just one staff working during this evening hours, but he kept smiling and did his job well. Pity I do not have his name. The room was new, the bed was comfy, hot shower was great, Wi-Fi worked well, we had no problem at all with the room facilities. Choices of breakfast were great and good quality, the pressing juice was good too. Recommend this hotel if you need comfortable night at the Frankfurt airport.

The good stuff first - Peaceful location, nice main building with a restaurant, outside dining/terrace, spa, and a few rooms/suites. - Excellent breakfast, that if weather permits also can be eating on the nice terrace with the Frankfurt Skyline in the distance. - A nice and large fitness center and spa across the street for guest use free of charge. - Very nice and modern bathrooms in the rooms. - Spacy suites and a lot of them. The not so good stuff - The suites are spacy, but they have a room layout as a small apartment. This means a full kitchen but no cooking wear, no plates, no knives etc. So, besides a small fridge a waste of space. Some of the space is former “inhouse” balcony that is now closed with windows, which create a long and narrow space that is difficult to use effectively. We stayed in a suite where the living room had only small windows to this closed balcony – not a very cozy room. - The furniture reminds me of an Austrian Ski hut, boring and not very elegant. - Housekeeping apparently works in an unusual manner where some are responsible for the bed and towels but do not replace bathroom amenities. Some replace coffee and milk used mogs etc. But the total result was that we more than a few times had to write a reminder to the front desk about missing supplies. - Housekeeping made a habit of not removing/replacing used cups, mug’s etc. - Most rooms are in buildings separate from the main building, annoying when it rains. Try to get one close to the main building. - When the lock on the front door of our building failed, you had to use the usually locked side door, but no note about that so you had to wait 5 min at the reception to find out. - Almost all the English-speaking channels that was listed on the TV guide was not actually on the tv – CNBC, Bloomberg, BBC World. - The weather during our stay was about 21 (68 F) degrees so we did not need aircon, but I was unable to locate one, so have that in mind if you consider staying mid-summer. So, a spacy but uninspiring room lacking supplies, English-speaking TV channels, and a functioning housekeeping, and aircon.

It was a short stay - we had a gorgeous suite with a stunning view of Frankfurt. We arrived early enough to enjoy the SPA facilities and later dinner in their restaurant. Great choice of food, wines, the breakfast spread was absolutely A-1 and we found the service very friendly/efficient. The property is big with plenty of walkways to get lost in. We really hope we can visit the hotel again for a longer stay.

We arrived Friday, June 19th, and the friendly receptionist explained the rules regarding COVID -19. Guests must wear masks when they are in common areas, not eating or drinking. Signs on the floor and in the elevators remind everyone. We were given ”watches” which allowed us to be cashless. We booked a deluxe room with half board. It was small, but very clean. The duvets and robes could use an upgrade. We brought pillows, because we like more than a regular pillow and a ”throw” pillow. The mattress on the bed was excellent. I had my own robe and slippers, but my husband used a hotel robe. It had holes in the sleeves. The staff in the restaurant and bar wore masks. We ate one dinner in the restaurant and one in the bar. The food in the bar was better. Breakfast is served by the wait staff instead of buffet style. It was good. We had direct access to the Therme, though not every attraction was open. At this writing, there are no massages or steam room treatments, and the restaurant was closed. The gym and sauna are open. The waterslide was fun. I have been to Thermes I thought were nicer, but I still enjoyed myself. Just wish some of the pools had been warmer. The Therme doesn't appear to offer a nude pool area, although I'm sure the saunas are textile free. My favorite time was in the Panorama Bar, which offers views of the surrounding area. Although the music was not what I would ordinarily choose, we had fun. The booths are perfect for social distancing. I'd stay again.

We arrived at midnight for just one night because we were travelling through. I read so many reviews and each one mentioned the hygiene was great. Even the negative reviews. We booked a panorama room with sofa bed and a double bed. It was a great room. All thanks to Abid who takes care of the hotel guests during the night. We had a GREAT time at the swimming and recreation area (even though one staff member at the pool gave us a hard time - didn’t spoil our spirits) but unfortunately we had to checkout by midday. We were running slightly late (12:15), funny enough the hotel manager sent someone to knock on our door to see if we were checking out or not. We assured the staff member we were on our way. As we were checking the closets and under the beds if we forgot anything, we were shocked to see a very horrible and unhygienic condition under the sofa bed and double bed. It’s probably never been vacuumed or cleaned and that’s very worrying during the COVID-19 crisis. We asked to speak to the hotel manager, so-called TAMARA - not even sure that was her name because she refused to see or even speak to us. Shows how negligent and rude she is to hotel guests. For that reason we want to post this unhygienic matter and make everyone be aware to check under their beds or sofas at the Vital Hotel Frankfurt.

Overnight at hotel after early evening arrival for a morning departure. Really easy to get to after leaving the arrivals fall. There are three other hotels in the same complex if you need to shop around for good deals. The hotel is directly above the train station which is also really convenient. Bathrooms have the most annoying taps - are hard to turn on and off - but a minor quibble on a very pleasant stay.

Really nice and modern hotel in the airport. The executive room top up was worth it. Hotel was very nice that they let me stay in the lounge even though I have already checked out. Will not hesitate to return again!

The interior of the room is clean and tidy, but I forgot to take pictures. The hotel has a pick-up and drop-off service in Terminal 1 near the entrance and exit of the railway station, which is usually convenient for half an hour. (Terminal 2 needs to take the airport bus to Terminal 1) When we went there, we didn't know that there was such a service, and we spent more than 20 euros on a taxi. It is also very convenient to go to the urban area. You can reach the urban area by taking S8 and S9 at the airport train station.
