"After some experience with hotels of some other international chains in the same segment (5 *) accross the world, I can justifiably claim that the Villa Garrigae sets the new standard by far. Super-friendly communication before and during booking via telephone, e-mail and web with different persons of the staff. Totally professional, friendly, attentive check in, which went quickly across the stage. Class, cosy ansd styled suites (recommend at least one with balcony to smoke 😊 - see pictures Uncanny highly customer-oriented and professional front desk service, concierge, room service .. Great silent location, noit to far away froom teh old town but silent Great breakfast in a very pleasant atmosphere.. allready in X-mas style 😊 Great great SPA, massage deals, bad that I had no chance to use it really To put it in a nutshell, Villa Garrigae sets a high standard in terms of customer service and hospitality that I have not expect at this, my 1st visit. "We spent 2 nights at Villa Garrigae in July with our two teenagers. It is located very close to the park, and 20 min walk from the citycenter. While a lovely hotel, our rooms were a bit odd – We had what was supposed to be a suite, but were two rooms that were connected through a small 1m2 rooms, but we could not unlock our rooms, so the access between the rooms were not easy. I blame myself as I booked via hotels.com, and everybody know you will get the lesser room not booking directly. We booked because it had a pool, but it was very small, and the pool area was not that inviting. But the pool towels that are handed out at hte reception was a good size and quality We asked about the bike rental while checking in, but was informed they were unavailable, so make sure to book them before coming if you plan on biking around. There was a safe in the room, but it was a small safe and not bolted in the closet, so I am not sure why they even had it, as you could just walk away with it The wifi worked terrible in our room, but very well in the boys room, so make sure to ask for a room where the wifi can reach. The beds were very comportable and we slept very well The owner was a lovely fellow and he was very visible at all times."
"I cannot say enough good things about Villa la Florangerie and their excellent staff. The room was tastefully decorated, roomy, with a super-comfortable bed. Sky lights with motorized shutters were a nice touch. Very nice shower, bath, and spacious bathroom (I am fussy about showers and water pressure and this one gets five stars). The Villa la Florangerie staff are best part. I found them to be attentive, knowledgable of the area, and very customer service oriented. All the staff presented themselves in a highly professional way that really made this stay special. Location: The hotel is located across the street from the Parc de l’Orangerie. A great location for a walk/run. The old-city is an easy 20 min walk and the Petite France area is about 10 minutes from there. No worries if your not up for walking, the hotel has a van and the wonderful staff was more than happy to deliver me to where I needed to go. "
