We stayed for one night as a treat for our son before school started back. The staff were excellent, kind and welcoming. We were allowed a late check out. The lobby is beautiful. The property is clean and well taken care of. The views of the stadium are awesome. The pool was small but worked just fine as it was not too crowded. I would caution those with children about the pool area music. Unfortunately we had to leave the pool early because the DJ kept playing songs with the F-word and other curse words despite the pool being full of families with young children. It was more of an adult only style play list which is so sad as we wanted to spend more time at the pool. It’s sad that most people weren’t phased by it but we listen to non explicit songs and for us it was shocking. Also the battery is loud at night so be prepared if your room faces the stadium. Music plays well after midnight. We may return again and I hope that the incident at the pool with the choice of music was a one time thing and they pay more attention to what they are playing.

Went to Atlanta to visit the Aquarium. Stayed here at the Omni at Battery. What can I say besides WOW! Hands down one of the best hotels we've ever have stayed at! From the moment we pulled in to the Valet, to check in at the lobby and the cleanliness of the entire establishment is very impressive. We are not big baseball fans but we were pleasantly surprised they had games going on and the view from the rooftop bar was amazing! There were multiple conventions going on as well, but the staff was great and on top of it. Always a smile and extremely helpful. We even got the pleasure of running into the General Manager of the Hotel, Omar. Extremely kind and humble, I wish more upper management could be like him! Outside of the restaurant are a bunch of all kinds of restaurants and things to do.

The location is very good, it should be close to the downtown location, the airport subway to the nearby (with 2 subway stations), the one that is recommended to go directly, the walk is downhill, 10 minutes to the hotel, the road will pass through the Olympic Park. The Coca-Cola World and the Baseball Hall of Fame are all nearby. CNN is downstairs. The meals in the hall are all hamburgers. They are not very Chinese. There are many restaurants nearby. It is very convenient to go to the attractions. At check-in at noon, the front desk was very good. I said that I would like to reserve a mobile phone number to inform me, but I didn’t actually have it. I can take my room card and live directly when I return.

The hotel is right next to CNN. Elevator down to B1, you can go up the stairs to the CNN building, you can participate in the CNN tour, there are some fast food and drink options, there is Starbucks, and a Chinese food. The hotel is only three minutes away from the Olympic Park, and the Coca-Cola Center, the aquarium, etc. across the park are very convenient. But there is no food supermarket or convenience store around the hotel, which is not ideal.

Reviews From Real Travelers
I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and have been loyal to Marriott for 7 years. I’ve stayed at Marriott chains all over the country & this location has the worst customer service & staff by FAR. First of all the security for the hotel attempted to hit on me during our first interaction but I kindly turned him down bc I am married. Very unprofessional when you’re at work! Secondly upon checking in the room, there were stains on the curtains, couch and a cigarette burn hole on the bar stool. No seats for the balcony or any privacy on the balcony. The kitchen could’ve been cleaner & the sheets on the bed were not the correct size, there was a mattress cover but no fitted sheet. We didn’t even complain! The real issue came when we were woken up at 8:30am by security BANGING on the door like the Swat team. He literally woke me and my daughter up and was at the door telling my husband that we were smoking and that he could smell it and that we needed to leave the property and would be charged a $500 fine! I immediately told him that we were not smoking and that we smell smoke too and my husband had an incense burning to block the smoke smell from getting to my daughter. We are not tattle tells so we did not care to call downstairs to make it an issue, it was easier to light the incense. We literally travel with these incense bc sometimes there are pet or smoke smells at some of these hotels. The security guard seemed to not care about what I was telling him so I told him not to come back to my room without a manager. He came back twice WITHOUT the manager, said the manager was unavailable and brought a luggage cart telling us we needed to leave or he was going to call the police! I told him to call them bc I was not leaving without a refund. He kept lying to his manager on the phone saying that we were refusing to leave but not telling him what I was saying which was COME BACK WITH YOUR MANAGER. The security guy was extremely rude & aggressive and needs to be FIRED. The manager FINALLY came up to the room 20 min later smh and when he did I offered him to come inside and smell or take a look bc we had nothing to hide. He said he could smell smoke but not tell what it was and I informed him we had an incense burning. He asked us to put it out and said that we couldn’t burn incense or light candles at this hotel. That was my first time hearing a no incense or candle burning policy from Marriott. He told us we were fine and to enjoy the rest of our stay without even addressing the rude behavior from security. I told him we would be checking out immediately and calling Marriott customer service for a full refund for being woken up and harassed. I called customer service as I was checking out to file a complaint and ask for assistance with getting a refund. Well here it is a week later and the hotel STILL hasn’t given me a refund or returned my deposit! Customer service team said the manager said he would not be returning my funds so I’ve escalated it to

Twelve Downtown was pretty nice! Clean rooms, great lobby action, valet was good, restaurant food was delicious. Staff was great. I wasn’t sure what to expect staying in the heart of downtown but it’s laid out pretty well. NOTE: it’s a residence and hotel option so one side are residences and the other entrance is the hotel. Gaining access to the hotel felt a bit clunky but once you turn in to valet it makes sense. We stayed in a 2 br/2ba suite. It was nicely decorated and VERY SPACIOUS (room 1207). Everything was cleaned well. Beds were comfy-pillows were NOT! I left with a crick in my neck because pillows were too soft. Great window views. Balcony is there but serves little purpose if there are no chairs to sit in. Didn’t like that. Pool view was what we had and pool season was closed (so looking at a concrete hole was lacking for us). If you are going between October and May-skip pool view for views). Only advantage was it’s the quieter side. Catch 12 restaurant had great food both breakfast and dinner. Dinner had way more options though. Breakfast was limiting. HUGE FACTOR TO NOTE: ITS A PARTY SPOT ‼️. We were there between a Wednesday and Saturday and on Friday it was loud and bustling with partygoers. But you mostly felt it only in the lobby/restaurant area.

Old facilities are old, the room design is unreasonable, the bathroom has no door, the steam is all over the room, and it will be cold when bathing. The worst w.

The service was good. Due to The Covid restrictions, it was tough not having the room cleaned.

It seems that the furniture renovated in 10 years is a bit retro. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is very good. I didn’t drive the hotel that day. I went out to buy something. The hotel downstairs Mercedes-Benz S400 shuttle

The overall room is good, there are too few parking spaces. There is no need to use the hotel to stop the service before parking. It is not very convenient. Every time you have to wait for a while.

Breakfast is very good. The chef orders it now: omelet, shredded cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It's great. Other kinds of bread, fresh juice coffee tea. Meat has sausages, bacon. Peach apple, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fruits, a kind of Danone fruit yoghurt. All in all, including early value

Hotel location is very good, all the streets are all kinds of hotels, close to the attractions of Atlanta, not far from the Coca-Cola Center, Olympic Park, etc., the hotel balcony buffet breakfast is very good
