"The Pines is such a great place to stay- we have no kids but two big dogs, one a service animal. They are so welcoming and friendly, dog biscuits at the front desk! We purchased our ski passes to Whitefish at the front desk. The manager , sorry whose name I forget is so friendly and helpful! She was such a pleasure to deal with. We have stayed here 4 or 5 times now in both summer and now winter. Its the only place we will come back to- clean rooms, a nice welcome package with hit cocoa and a great ceramic coffee mug. Great hot tub and pool, close to downtown and ski mountain. Keep up the great work!!! The prices are fair, and we were pleased to get discounted ski passes at the front desk. Thanks Pines staff for a wonderful stay! "
"Amazing Customer Service, they provided shuttle accommodations for our family of 6. Everyone was genuinely warm and friendly. Austin, Rusty & Doug picked us up and dropped us at the Amtrak train station, along with trips to Whitefish Ski Resort & Downtown Whitefish for dinner. I really appreciate how everyone was so kind to our family. Will come again next year."
"Came here for our ski trip last week and the staff was amazing. The Jamie (breakfast guy) went out of his way to go to the store to get my fiance some red apples because they only had green ones. You don't even get this level of customer service from crazy expensive resorts! Outstanding work you guys, we will be back next year!"

"Very good, kalispell is the largest city in northwestern Montana, with more than 20,000 people in the city. The hotel is located in the north of the city. It is convenient to eat and shop nearby. It is a pizza point, grilled with chopped wood, and many people taste good, and the two talents cost $25. The hotel is quiet and the family suite is very reasonable and feels warm. The pool is big and the breakfast is not bad. Free parking and wireless internet."
"Good value for money, cost-effective, worth buying."

250 Old Reserve Drive, Kalispell, Montana, United States

"Our family of 3 (mom, dad, tween son) stayed at this hotel Jan 2020 for 2 nights while visiting the area in Montana. This hotel is very clean, modern, good location in Kalispell walkable to many places to eat and shop, and has wonderful front desk staff. We acted on their suggestions for dinner both nights, see our reviews (Scottibellis and Bullman Pizzeria). We enjoyed the indoor pool but there ISN’T a hot tub. Most of 2 walls in pool area are windows - you can see beautiful mountain scenery! Our room was a Qu/Qu suite with a sort of separate living area having a desk + chair, couch, and ottoman. Couch was deep and firm so not comfortable seating (we used bed pillows for added comfort) but makes into twin bed (bedding in closet). Room was super clean, modern and had a fridge/microwave in its own cubby area across from room door. The mattresses need to either be flipped or replaced as we sank deep into them for a rather uncomfortable sleep. Very nice bedding/pillows. Lots of drawer space. There’s a nice sized bathroom with bright shower stall, no tub, and most of the other amenities we could need EXCEPT the shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower were empty; upon calling the desk for refills, they said they were out but did quickly deliver to our room some sample size shampoo but no body wash; we just used the bar soap from the sink. There wasn’t any lotion either and your skin gets dry in the mountain air so BYO. There’s a walk-in closet! The included breakfast was good…from the open and airy places to sit and eat, to the variety of foods like waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, juices, breads, yogurts, hard boiled eggs, etc. One day they had a delicious sausage, onion, pepper combo! There is a little cubby area off the front desk that has items for sale, no gift shop. We utilized the fitness room where we found treadmills, elipticals, reclining bikes, free weights, heavy balls, water, towels, +. with the nice wall windows to see outside! There is a giant tablet on the wall in the main lobby for doing various fun things like painting, drawing, +. Our son LOVED it! We would stay here again IF the mattresses were better."
"Spinghill Suties is a clean and comfortable hotel. Its a bit more modern then most in the Kalispell area. Their housekeeping staff are top notch and do a fantastic job. I stayed in a 1 king suite, for 2 nights will on a little get-away. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I was on the 4th floor, for the most part it was relatively quite, the odd time a bunch of kids / teens making noise, due to the hotel being full of families for the Canadian Family Day long weekend and what I assumed was several teams for a hockey tournament. Overall it wasn't disruptive. I didn't attend the breakfast, as it isn't quite up to par with some in the area, and there's a wicked local spot (Sykes) that is amazing. Its centrally located to the shopping district and on the northern side of town for ease of access to get to Glacier national park and Whitefish. The front desk staff were always cheerful and helpful. The pool, was a cold for temperature, but wasn't bad (it would be a great pool for the summer). Overall this is a good hotel to make it a base when visiting Kalispell area. Would stay here again."
"I was at the hotel for 2 nights, there were 6 of us. The room was fantastic, clean, lots of room even the sofa bed that was used was a good size and comfortable. Lots of parking, hotel was clean and decorated well. During our stay we kept running into the front desk clerk Riley. He always had a smile on his face and a warm greeting. He gave us a lot of information of the area on where to go for restaurants and shopping. Every time we went in and out he was there with a friendly greeting. He made our visit even better. Riley is 5 star! We hope to be back in the area next year and stay here again! "

1380 Wisconsin Avenue, Whitefish, Montana, United States

"We recently took a ski club trip to Whitefish along with about 70 other people. We were there for 7 nights and skied 5 days. Due to some travel problems coming out of our airport, we ended up 10 hrs after our scheduled departure. Despite this, the Lodge team came to Kalispell after midnight, and shuttled us in and got us to bed around 1am. We ate breakfast there every day (part of the package) and it was in my opinion tremendous. Most of our other trips had this option but nowhere near the number of hot food items that LAWL provided. A few folks complained about the eggs being cold, but I never experienced that and I candidly looked forward to this breakfast every day. It was actually my favorite part of the trip as we all gathered together between 7-8am, ate and hung out planning our ski adventures for the day. We also had several other evening events at the Lodge, and those were all well planned. Since they were buffets it wasn't fine dining (go into town for that) but it was suitable, fast and we didn't have to leave the property. After a day of skiing, that can be a very good thing. Now, onto our accommodations. We had what was called a 'studio king' room. It was advertised as around 600 square feet, but I am not sure how accurate that is and even if it is in the ball park, the way our room was set up, at least 30-40 percent was wasted space. The bed was very nice, and it had a fireplace that went on with a flick of a switch. We had a balcony and just enough drawer space to handle our needs. It also came with a safe. Onto the negative, while there is a flat screen TV, it was all Standard Definition with just basic cable. No streaming options at all, and no HD or UHD available. After a long day, to end up watching films on our ipad's was a bit disappointing. There is also a kitchen area, but while there are plenty of cabinets, the Lodge provides two glasses, NO plates or silverware which candidly is a joke. We asked one of the cleaning crew for a spoon/fork and got the latter. This is ridiculous and needs to be addressed. There are two grocery stores in town, and the room has a very small fridge where you could store items, but there is no point at all to buy anything. Adjacent to the 'kitchen' is an entry way with slate tile, but no place to sit down. The entire front area of our room was just wasted space (the last few days we did move the bench in front of our bed to the entry way, and it was a huge improvement from a functional and aesthetic view. The transportation getting into town is terrific. They will take you and pick you up at any time. Excellent staff. However, the same cannot be said for getting to the ski area. The entire system for getting to the mountain is haphazard and ineffective. The Lodge will take you to the ski area from 8:30-10:30 and even brought in large coaches to handle our group. But after 10:30, you essentially are on your own and have to rely on walking down to a SN"
"The Lodge at Whitefish Lake is by far the best Hotel we stayed at while traveling through Montana. As soon as you walk into the lobby, one realizes you're in a very special place with its Grand Fireplace and wildlife trophies adorning the walls. Our room was in the Viking Lodge which was convenient because it's close to the gym and has a lovely pool and Jacuzzi close by. It's also just a short walk over a very scenic Sky Bridge to get to the Main Lodge. The room we had was updated and had a great bathtub. I was also pleasantly surprised at how good some of restaurants were in the town of Whitefish. However, you can't go wrong making a reservation at The Boat Club Restaurant at the Lodge. We had dinner there twice and breakfast there all four days. Excellent! While visiting this beautiful Lodge, make sure to stop in The Mercantile where you'll find some unique merchandise. I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout to Lynne who helped us pick out some great gifts as well giving us sage hiking & traveling tips. Overall, we loved our time at the Lodge and look forward to a return trip. "
"We did a road trip this year to get away and visit some family. We wanted to see Glacier National Park and bike ride in there. The Lodge was awesome, we stayed 4 days in the suite. Fireplace, kitchenette, soaking tub. Cozy bed and rooms, loved the fireplace at night. The smores at the firepit was fun, social distanced. We were in the off season, so not a lot of people there. It was very relaxing. I would visit again, in the off season. We did take out from local restaurants and we also ate at the Lodge which had a nice, quiet environment looking at the lake. Food was very good. The only thing I would watch out for its the atm machine there might be compromised with a card reader. It is the only place I used my card at, and the next morning, I had 3 charges from someone using an uber, not fun to have to cancel your bank card on a road trip. :)"

"This was the perfect central location for our visit to Glacier National Park. From here we were able to easily pivot between the park, Whitefish, and Kalispel. Everything was clean and sanitized. And everyone was kind, friendly, and extremely helpful! We really enjoyed being able to Doordash dinner (to stay away from crowds) and eat outside on the balcony, just taking in the views! We'd gladly stay here again! And the kids loved the twisty slide and that our TV connected to our phones so we could access Netflix ;)"
".I stay here whenever I can. From the time you arrive until you depart the friendly staff is there to help in any way they can.. This is a beautiful clean and comfortable hotel. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The amenities are 1st class. They offer free parking and airport shuttle which is also free but tips ae appreciated. one of my favorite hotels and I'll be back. I highly recommend The Country Inn & Suites."
"This is the go to place to stay in Kalispel. Gray view of the airport for plane spotting. Not far from glacier and whitefish. I recommend sacred waters/fork in the river to eat. It’s about 2 miles or so to the East. "

"My wife, brother, and I had an absolutely incredible stay at the Good Medicine Lodge. We chose this B&B as our base for a week-long ski trip to the Whitefish Mountain. The quality of our stay easily rivals five-star hotels (I would choose this over the Ritz or Four Seasons in a heart-beat). What truly differentiates this place from other B&B's / hotels is the care and attention of the owners, Ryan and Sarah. They made us feel completely at home, always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, and were an absolute pleasure to be around. I don't think I've ever felt as sad as I did here when it came time to leave. The lodge itself was impeccably clean, spacious, and cozy. Our two-room suite ("Great Northern Suite") was ideal, as we had an entire apartment to ourselves with two bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms -- we had some of the best sleep in years!!! The hot tub outside with a fireplace (!!!) was wonderful, and we enjoyed it after skiing. The complimentary gourmet breakfasts where delicious and were exactly what was needed ahead of a full day skiing. Also important to note are the unlimited home-made cookies available to guests at all times of the day (with a rotating menu!) as well as the apres ski appetizers / drinks that were offered upon returning from the mountain. I think I exceed my cookie allowance for the year ahead!! Ryan's coffee selections were also delicious: having a cup ahead of breakfast each morning was a joy. The location of the lodge is ideal. The adjacent building is a wonderful brewery, Bonsai, where we ate and had drinks on numerous occasions. Downtown Whitefish is a 3-5 minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk away. And the mountain is only a 10-15 minute drive away. I highly recommend renting a car to also see the beautiful Glacier National Park which is around 45 minutes away. We were so glad we went there on our day off from skiing. To conclude, thank you Ryan and Sarah for an unbelievable stay in Whitefish. We hope to come back next year, and, if we do, we will without a doubt choose your place!!!"
"We did a getaway from Seattle but will definitely come back with the kids. The hospitality here is warm and thoughtful. Little touches everywhere from gluten free cookies and homemade baked goods to having each woodpile next to the many fireplaces stocked with kindling, lots, matches and paper. Decor is beautiful and functional. Bed was supremely comfy with linnet ironed sheets! Every room is full of tasteful and not over done art, from fixtures to furniture to beautifully plated breakfasts. The hot tub was a treat afterour trek from Seattle. All soaps, lotions, cups, bowls, and plates are locally made. Amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back!"
"Clean, cozy accommodations with high quality healthy breakfast, appetizer and wine in the evening, hot tip overlooking The ski area and wonderful new hosts attentive to your every need. Easy 2 minute drive to downtown, 10 minute drive to ski area for summer and winter sports and easy access to Glacier Park: I’ve stayed here in summer and winter and will always come back. Simply perfection."

"Location was great-close to restaurants and downtown Whitefish. Wonderful staff-friendly to both 2 and 4 legged guests. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Traveling during COVID-19 does create restrictions in the hotel’s ability to offer the usual services. Breakfast was still available as “grab an go”-didn’t mind that in the least. Maid service is limited, but, again I didn’t mind making my own bed or going to the front desk to request clean towels. The hotel provides a nice grassy dog walking area which includes a dog waste bin and waste bags for your use. All in all a great 3 night stay. I only have 1 gripe/complaint: the hotel charges an extra $20.00 per night for your pet. The cost is fair and I didn’t mind paying it. However, common courtesy and having the tools at your disposal to clean up after your pet does not guarantee everyone that has a pet will be courteous. Such was the case during our stay. I have never had to be so mindful of stepping in dog doo as I was this trip! Rude, lazy dog owners...SHAME! The flip side of that is a pet owner that assumes the extra charge means the hotel will take care of clean up...after all, you’re paying for the pet over and above what other guests are paying that do not have pets traveling with them. Here’s my complaint...if the hotel is going to charge an extra fee for dogs per night, the hotel should have an employee going out and providing some clean up daily at least in the designated pet area. Simple common courtesy, pride in your business and being able to combat guests from walking on carpeted floors without leaving dog poo tracks or having to clean the bottom of their shoes using hotel towels!"
"The woman at the front desk in the evening was super friendly, interesting, and helpful! All other staff we encountered were really nice and also helpful. Our room was a suite with a gas fireplace and was roomy yet cozy and comfy. It had all we needed. Room had been updated sometime recently which is always nice. We really appreciated having nightstands at the bedside with lamps and electric outlets and USB ports! We also loved having a kitchenette with sink, small fridge, microwave and countertop. We liked being able to put our feet up on the coffee table and ottoman as well as bringing our breakfast up to our room each and and having comfortable table and chairs to eat at! The closet is large and there are big dressers and a large TV. The bathroom is on the smaller side but has a large single vanity and large lighted mirror. The king bed was really comfortable for being well used (probably?) and we are grateful for the thorough sanitizer ion process they use during these times. We do bring our own wipes and clean all surfaces, etc. anyways. Great 4-day stay!"
"This was our 7th stay here. We come every year to ski. The staff always seems genuinely interested in making sure everyone has a pleasant stay. The drivers to and from the airport are friendly and prompt, the front desk staff is helpful. The breakfast could be improved with non meat protein offerings. One morning both egg choices contained sausage and I don't eat meat. They offered an after ski chili which my husband enjoyed and cookies in the afternoon which was a nice addition. The rooms are a nice size, lobby is comfortable and the hot tub is wonderful, nice and large. We were also able to use "The Wave" which is a community center with three indoor pools, etc. That is really a nice benefit. "
