"We stopped in just for a 1 night stay while traveling south and the Staybridge at Rock Hill is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! We have stayed at or around this same exit several times, as there are many hotels in the area but this one is GREAT!!! We were on the top floor in a spacious, ridiculously clean room. The room was immaculate, comfy and gave us everything we needed. The linens and towels were very soft and fresh. The bed was very comfy, plenty of hot water and the water pressure was good. The front desk staff, along with other staff we encountered that evening and next morning were all very nice and helpful. They all spoke and inquired on the stay or wished us well on our travels. The breakfast was one of the best that I have every seen or had at a hotel. The variety was vast and everything offered was hot and fresh. There was also a Coke freestyle machine that was in service in the evening for snacks as well as breakfast. This will absolutely be a hotel that we visit again when traveling though. It was a fantastic stay, a great nights sleep and an awesome breakfast! Thank You StayBridge!!"
"Came into town to visit for the weekend found a good deal and the pictures looked good so I decided to give it a try. My girlfriend was getting work done on her home so it pretty much matched up. The room was excellent. Not only was it clean with a comfortable bed but the sectional couch in the room was very nice and I spent most of my time sitting there watching TV. Although I didn't use any of the kitchen pans that were included it was a nice touch and a full fridge and freezer with ice maker where I could keep my ice cream. I really have no complaints the only disappointment was that the breakfast buffet has been suspended but I am totally understanding of this decision knowing that we are in the time of Covid-19. I would definitely stay here again (corner room for any of the mangers who read this review) and I recommend you do the same. 1 last tip because I know this is long but the Hotel is right behind the mall and within easy walking distance of several restaurants including an Applebee's and Texad Roadhouse"
"Great stay! Really well appointed room with a full kitchen, work space area, comfortable king bed and great pillows. The room was spotless, seemed new! Melanie on check in was friendly and efficient, Samantha on check out seemed genuinely happy that we had stayed and even more that we had enjoyed our stay. Great staff! The ladies on the breakfast were wonderful .....as was breakfast! Really nice to have greek yogurt with fresh and dried fruit plus walnuts. Apparently the grits were 2 thumbs up! Gym was clean and nicely set up. Would definitely stay here again and consider staying at other Staybridge properties. "

"This is my favorite hotel in the United States, not one of them. The reason is simple, not because of how high-end and luxurious, but the room is clean and tidy, big enough, cost-effective, super convenient location, quiet, convenient parking, convenient travel."
"On average, I go to that area once every two months and must live here every time. It's so convenient and comfortable. There are everything around, the room is big and comfortable, parking is convenient, eating, shopping, and refueling are convenient."
"This hotel is actually good in all aspects, especially the surrounding area is really convenient, and very close to the high-speed port, down, is eating a lot of things and shopping, there is a gas station"

"Too to bottom the staff at this location is superb. Megan, Rachel and Cory are simply amazing. We hosted a job fair, came back and hosted on boarding and training and every step of the way these three have accommodated and helped us be successful. We signed an agreement to make this our hotel of choice while we open our new distribution center. It’s the little things that sets this place apart. Highly recommend this place. Clean, safe and taking the precautions during the pandemic. "
"Ms. Rachel the sales coordinator of this particular Marriott property is amazing!!! She made sure me and my family needs were met, she also ensured my elderly grandmother was placed in a Covid safe clean suite on the first level so it would be easy for my grandmother to walk Too and from her room!. Thank you again Marriott for hiring well equipped, courteous, caring staff such As Ms. Rachel. Elliot Bristol"

"First time staying at this hotel as we try to stay at a different Marriott property when visiting/passing through Charlotte. On this trip, we had an extended stay of 10 nights. Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk but a sign directed you to ring a bell. Safety measures were in place with masks required in all common areas. Plenty of automatic hand sanitizer were positioned at all elevators & throughout the ground floor lobby area, restrooms & exercise room. On a few instances we experienced guests in the breakfast area around the food & beverages co aggregating & walking without masks and even eating while hovering around the food station. Unfortunately, since all front end staff out of sight, nothing was done to eliminate it. The matter was brought to their attention twice but it still continued to occur. Also, the breakfast offerings were very inconsistent from day to day. Several days there was no cereal, oatmeal, yogurt or white milk, only chocolate. Sometimes butter was not put out for bagels and most times plates, plastic utincels or "to go" bags weren't available & had to be asked for. Day staff was scarce for sure. Understand the current environment but don't think/expect a guest has to chase down staff for things that should be taken care of the first time. We had issues with out TV which was brought to their attention the following day. They offered to move us which we declined with the expectation it could be fixed by their maintenance engineer. It could not & they needed to call their 3rd party provider which again we expected/told would happen that day (Saturday). Being a holiday weekend, we assumed it would not occur until Tuesday. We were told a tech was called to fix our TV on Tuesday which didn't happen & only after inquiring we were advised it wouldn't happen until Thursday. On Thursday morning, we were woken by phone call @ 9 am from front desk advising tv tech was there to repair tv. We asked for 30 minutes to get ourselves ready. 10 minutes later, another phone call advising us we were being moved to another room & they would send someone up to help us. No advanced warning...you need to move now. To the staff's credit, on 2 separate instances they extended their apologies & took initiatives to make it up to us. Much appreciated!! Lastly, cleaning services did not occur daily & was done on request only for longer stays. Something they had noted on a sign but not explained @ checkin. Friendly, accommodating staff but lack of proper execution. "
"This is a nice hotel for a quick one nighter or weekend getaway. Modern, simple and relatively easy to navigate to/from nearby shopping such as the Premium Outlets (about 1 exit up). Also convenient to the highways to get to the airport, Ballantyne or downtown Charlotte. As for the rooms, they are okay for 1-2 people and maybe a small child. The couch has a hidden bonus for a family of 3 or 4 --- a trundle or pull out bed (pictured). There is also a wooden bench area near the window, which is nice for putting your bags/suitcases on when in the room (rather than the floor). There are also microwaves in the room and a small area for making coffee/tea. The only gripe I had was the bathroom. The decor is nice, but it is small. Much smaller than it looks on the website. This includes the shower. Lastly, parking is ample in the back and front of the hotel, but the front lot is smaller and fills up quickly on a busy weekend. It is a bit of a walk from the back lot when walking to the lobby. Overall, this is a great hotel at a really good price for a quick 1-3 night stay."
"While my room was very nice and the location is phenomenal, the front desk staff doesn't seem to be knowledgeable or willing to accommodate the issues I've had with this place. For instance, the front doesn't know how to change the rate for my room or the process of allowing me to purchase an item from the market. I was told by the front desk that only the manager could change method of payment from monetary to reward points or I had to charge market items to my room instead of paying with cash. This hotel also doesn't have vending machines, so you HAVE to purchase items from the market place and then the prices are ridiculously gouged! (3.50 for a 20 oz soda!). These details will make me not want to stay here again."
