The hotel smells a bit renovated. Sometimes I feel a sore throat when I sleep. The faucet in the first room was broken. I could n’t take a bath. I repaired it for four hours. We went to negotiate, and Ctrip also helped us negotiate, and said that I would change the room. As a result, I went to look at it, it was not as good as the original, and we have to pack things by ourselves. In the end, we finally upgraded to us and I did n’t have to carry our own luggage, so I felt better, but I have to say that in France, in Monaco, the hotel service is really worse

This is not just a hotel. It's a miracle! So great to come back! This place really feels like home. Everyone sooo caring and predictive. Special thanks to Cafiero and his excellent team. Guys you are great! You definitely made our stay )) Keep up the great job. Our compliments to everyone who keeps the place running at this highest level. I can only describe my accommodation experience with perfection. The room is facing the harbour, the scenery is charming, the room is quite big, and the design is very tasteful. The design of the double lobby, the overall design of the hotel is the temperament of the European aristocrats, the spa is very good, the pool is great. A place where you can go to vacation every year!

One of the best hotels in Monaco. Location, service, hotel atmosphere is first class, breakfast variety is slightly insufficient. Parking for valet parking, 40 euros a night, Monaco in the inch of gold is also reasonable. Overall very good stay experience, definitely worth recommending

At the yacht show it seems that all services should be absent and should not be expected. Just check in anyway and don't expect too much. The room was fairly comfortable, small and outdated. The public facilities look super five stars and the rooms four stars. Super super many young female internet celebrities taking photos in the lobby is strange anyway. I wouldn't be here if I could choose a few others at the same level. Because all others are full. Checking out is super slow, very slow, wait a long time, and then swipe for a long time, for no special reason is long. all in all I have absolutely no comments, not bad, not great either, easily forgotten.

The hotel is right next to the Monte Carlo Casino, and the hotel guests are free of tickets to the Monte Carlo Casino. The hotel is old, but the decoration and sanitation are very good. Because we were in honeymoon, a welcome gift was given. It was an awesome feeling!

Our stay was at the end of July ,and we had a two night stay. We had two sea view rooms, with lovely views ,the rooms being clean and very comfortable. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar and also at the Horizon Rooftop, where we had both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast is excellent, so much choice plus a chef for eggs of your choice etc. The lunch buffet is also excellent , and complimentary bottled water included. We took a trip to the beach - you get transported in a buggy so no walking , and we enjoyed our morning there - you will be allocated to The Fairmonts beds rather than choosing your position, but theses beds are complimentary. The toilet , lockers and shower facilities here are very good. We also used the pool (Nikki Beach). Again the Fairmont guests have an area of complimentary sun beds - not the large day beds directly by the pool, but for us that wasn’t a problem as ours were a little quieter. We did have a 6 year old with us and we had fun in the pool - he was the only child there though! The Fairmont is not cheap - everything is expensive…..but that is what we expected from Monte Carlo. It is in an excellent position, has a fantastic view over the hairpin, staff brilliant, food and drinks top notch, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We booked this as a ‘same day’ reservation on the Accor app, as we are Accor members and had no idea the Fairmont is an Accor hotel. We were on a motoring trip through France and Italy so secure parking is a priority for us and we knew that The Fairmont regularly hosts car rallies so this would be possible. Expensive at 60 euros per night for secure parking but this is Monaco and space is expensive and it was certainly secure and well tended. The reception area was abuzz and our check in was handled efficiently and in a warm manner. It was a long walk through the maze of corridors which were now dated and showing signs of wear and tear as well as showing the sounds of maintenance, so we were a little concerned that our discounted, last minute price would result in a poor room. We were at the back with limited view but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had all that we needed (except milk for tea which was promptly brought to us) and much that we didn’t (crazy mini bar prices!). We explored the hotel’s bars and restaurants but found that we preferred to go out and explore Monte Carlo on foot so only used our room to sleep. The bed was comfortable and the room was in good, clean, albeit dated condition.

Reviews From Real Travelers
We had booked a Horizon suite at this hotel, one if the more expensive suites. Prior to booking this suite I had called the hotel to confirm that the two room suite which has two double beds and a sofa bef accommodate my family of 2 adults and 3 kids, two of whom are quite young. The person I spoke with at the hotel prior to booking the Horizon suite confirmed that it would. If they had said no (as did another hotel for one of their suites) I would have booked 2 rooms (which I did for the other hotel). So I booked the Horizon suite and put in just the number of adults in the party - this is because the online system would not allow me to book the room putting in two adults and 3 kids for this suite. I was comfortable doing this since the hotel employee had confirned to me that the suite would be able to accommodate us. Fast forward a few weeks and we arrive at the hotel to be met with a stern check in person named Valentina who curtly told us that we could not check in with our kids. The booking was only for 2 adults and she would not be able to let the kids in the hotel. We were just stunned at the language and tone used by Valentina. We pleaded and she stepped inside the back office to see what she could do. She came and told us we could take the room if we paid and additional €65 a night. Mind you this is a room that had a rate of €1700+ a night. Given that we were there and didnt have another hotel close by that we could go to we took accepted the additional charge. But more than the additional charge what really stuck out for us was the way Valentina berated and talked down to us. We at least expected a smile, a hello and pleasant check in. The €65 additional charge is less of an issue for someone who is paying €1700+ for the toom as long as you are nice and pleasant. We cut our stay short and left earlier than planned. On the day we were supposed to check out (we had indicated we would be checking out around noon) a security person showed up at our door promptly at 12 noon just as we were about to head down. As platinum member with Marriott I usually get a few minutes grace to check out. Never have had security sent up exactly at noon. The front desk staff at check out was more diverse and courteous and was shocked to hear the treatment meted out to us by Valentina. We spoke to the supervisor at that time and he listened to us patiently but didnt say he would do anything about it. We had several other minor instances of poor treatment here at the time of departure (eg bellmen ignoring us and not offering any help in loading our car, parking person berating us to move when a taxi was blocking us in front etc.) and in the restuarants (more egregious that the departure ones) that I dont want to take away from the main message of how we were spoken to and treated by Valentina. This ranks as the absolute worst front desk experience for me in my 2000+ nights of hotel stays over the years. But looking back perhaps this hotel has a c

We spent a few days in Monaco after our stay in Cannes for our honeymoon and this hotel did not disappoint. We upgraded our room (recommend), and got an amazing view over the harbour. The room was clean, big and had very good air conditioning. Close to everything in Monaco (not very hard since the town is so small). The staff was very friendly and helped us a lot when our flight got cancelled. We would decently come back here. A little minus: the room was right under the restaurant which was a little loud. So if you are tender to noise I would ask for a room far from the restaurant.

We booked a last minute room at Port Palace and the staff was so accommodating. We arrived & the large, spacious “standard room” was ready and extremely clean. I don’t know if the rooms have been newly renovated but it was all nicer than in the photos. We also slept so well as the bed was so big & comfy! I didn’t love that there was carpet in the room but everything else about the hotel made up for it :) we think we made a mistake by not trying the restaurant on the 6th floor but oh well—we’ll try it next time! We’ll definitely be back to stay here!

4 nights in Monte Carlo and happy with my stay at Novotel. It is reasonably priced for a 4 star hotel in Monte Carlo which is notoriously expensive to stay. The room was nice, nice pool area, indoor/outdoor breakfast area/ restaurant next to the pool, room size was ok, clean and modern. Princess Charlotte road is up the hill, not on the flat, but is near the train station. If you are flying to Monte Carlo you have to go via Nice and either get the train (a 15 min walk from the airport, you'll need gps maps to find it) or catch the Express shuttle bus L110 Nice airport to Monte Carlo (Euro22 one way, you pay as you get on the bus). The bus stop is in the No 1 coach bus stop right outside Nice T2. I caught the bus which had great scenic views.

The location is as good as you'd expect in a town like Monte Carlo - you've never far away. They have off-site parking that is charged per access. Park the car and leave it - you can do everything else by foot. There is a drop off point out front to empty the car (only room for about 3 cars) on a busy road. The check-in process was smooth, friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and well appointed. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable - important things. Breakfast was included and the staff went out of their way to help my wife with her gluten free requirements. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Check-out was simple and easy. Would stay there again.

Just returned from 3,days at this hotel. We were four couples, two couples in our 50’s and two couples in their 20s. We all loved it. Decor in communal areas and in the rooms is stylish. Rooms are large and comfortable with stunning views and spacious balconies. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful and a special mention to those in guest services who offered us valuable advice, booked restaurants for us and provided us transport in the courtesy bus when taxis for 8 were difficult to source. They could not have been more helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily and were spotless. The pool area is lovely and we had no problem getting sunbeds. Lying there looking out to sea whilst watching the helicoptered coming and going was bliss. Fantastic hotel we had a wonderful stay and felt it offered excellent value. Cannot wait to return as 3 days was not long enough!

Good hotel and well located. A short walk from the heliport. Walking distance to restaurants and bars in Port de Fontvieille, La Marché de La Condamine and the beautiful beach in Cap d'Ail. N°6 bus stop opposite hotel to go to the centre of Monte Carlo, Larvotto and beyond. €2 per trip if you don't have a daily ticket. No need to use taxis, if you are adventurous...... Good practical rooms. Good breakfast and lunch Very attentive staff and concierge service. Strongly recommend.

Two friends and I stayed here to watch some tennis which was taking place. The moment we arrived Maajid ( front desk) was keen to help us get our bearings. The room was clean and quiet. The restaurant served some very tasty pasta and pizza’s. The location was brilliant station round the corner express bus to Nice airport bottom of the road. All in all an excellent stay with Maajid going the extra mile continuously.

We didn't have a place in the double room, my 2 children were not wanted although I had booked 2 children. Had 2 single beds, there was no other bed for my children as it wouldn't even have fit in the mini room. So my husband and kids slept sideways in these single beds and I actually only got a blanket to put on the floor! to sleep. On top of that! There was a police operation in the middle of the night at 3:30 a.m., the door was forced open with all the violence and noise, we were afraid and could not sleep. It was the purest nightmare. The next morning we asked what was going on, allegedly there was an emergency and the guest fell over in the bathroom. Then you would have had the key and no police action with yelling and breaking open the door... it was the worst night we spent in a hotel and we couldn't reach anyone from Trip.de via an alleged 30-second online chat! Incomprehensible!
