"My daughters and I had a great time at this park. Rides were a lot fun and staff was great. Even though my daughters were older, we got the themed rooms with the separate area with small bunk beds for little kids. My teens were a little tall for them but they squeezed in and were glad to have them. We went during the week so it was not too crowded. Most importantly when I had a scheduling problem because of an illness the hotel was so accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel. However, the real reason I am here today is that I am running my annual scavenger hunt for my daughter, which I have to digitally this year because we are separated for this first time on her birthday to do self quarantining. Happy Birthday Anna. Here is your next clue. Think of my favorite stage actress and the famous of her roles A mere extra, one of 76? but in my eyes the show she stole. A video search of the Theater will help you find your way But only if you remember to add the name of the play. "
"We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The one bedroom king suite was spacious and clean. It was the perfect size for our family of three! We did not give ourselves enough time to utilize the pool this time as we were there to attend the Kiss concert at Alerus. What a setting to relax and enjoy your event without travelling to the venue and back to the hotel! Soooo convenient!!! We had a bit of time in the arcade and found the young fellow with the ponytail atop his head who worked there an absolute pleasure. From our pizza order prior to the concert to our "to go" food order the following day, he was friendly and professional. The food, hot & tasty. Breakfast buffet was also enjoyable even though we were one of the last to be admitted into the restaurant before the lunch crowd, we were still accommodated, no issue & much appreciated. Thanks Canad Inns, we'll be back :)"
"Stayed there while I attended a conference at Alerus and then the Kiss Concert the following night, best place to stay in Grand Forks for certain! We didn’t need to go outside once, which made it so comfortable with coats and such .After the event we went to Tavern and they had a bar set up in the lobby, which was great while we waited for a table in the restaurant! "This was a very well laid out place. Big lobby, and once you entered you see the restaurant bar and pool area. The restaurant was nice except for breakfast. Bar had daily specials going on and was an easy environment to go to by yourself. The pool was indoors and was well taken cared of. They have a Linux computer that you could do some quick work with a printer attached to it. The staff is very quick to get you going with whatever you need. These workers are like experts. Check-In was extremely quick, problems were sorted out and resolved quickly with billing, all the bar staff were helpful and attentive. Dinner restaurant staff was a little slow, but I could only imagine they had multiple stuff they were pulling together behind the kitchen doors. Lots of parking and well taken cared of. Rooms were very cozy and felt very at home for relaxing. "
"Check in and check out went smoothly. The pool was warm and lots of fun. Our room was a major disappointment. There was pet hair all over the floor and beds. The toilet hadn't been cleaned properly and the bathroom door didn't lock. Our floor hadn't been vacuumed as there was crumbs, tinsel and what looked to be dog food everywhere. There was a note on our bed (on top of the pet hair) saying our room had been cleaned to the highest industry standards, which was definitely not true! Our window was drafty. The front desk staff was helpful and prompt. We had been told there would be a full continental breakfast, but turns out it has been downgraded to basically a cold breakfast plus one waffle machine. The lady stocking the breakfast made us feel like we should rather order from the restaurant and kept telling us we were running out of time for breakfast. This made us feel unwelcome and pressured. We have never had hotel staff rush us with breakfast in any other hotel we have stayed at. Plus we weren't even late for breakfast!"
"Ramada is a BEAUTIFUL place to have a wedding/reception and Ann V, the sales director is a godsend to work with and have in your corner!!! We do not live in the area so EVERYTHING had to be done via phone/messages and there was no issues. We thought the "wedding suite" would have a special feature like a Jacuzzi tub but it's just like the rest of the rooms. No biggy for us."

"Check-in was fast and easy. Room was clean and tidy and each room had the stickers on the doors showing they had been serviced and cleaned. Bed was comfortable, just right amount of firmness. Pillows were fluffy, but went flat quickly. Had a whirlpool room, but unfortunately out out of room plans didn't give us the chance to use it. Tv had a good selection of channels and room was queit for the most part.... Hotel is close to the train tracks, so did hear a few trains during the night, but they didn't wake us. Room had a mini fridge, kuerig coffee maker, microwave and shelving/drawers to store your belongings. Good value and quality- would stay here again."
"Very good hotel with good service. The only complaint was the noise from the air conditioner, kept going on all night because it was freezing outside so it made it hard to sleep at night. Ended up turning down the heat and hogging the blanket to stay warm which helped keep the heat from coming on all night. Can't really blame the hotel for the weather."
"I loved thecoffee and ice water in the lobby and the Keurig in the room. The staff was attentive and accommodating. The breakfast couldn't be beat and the room service food was some of the best I've ever had. "

"We came to Grand Forks for a night away, and to stock up on American goodies. Picked this hotel from hotels dot com because the deal was comparable to other local hotels for the quality. Hotel is close to everything you’d need in Grand Forks. Very clean and modern decorations. The elevator kinda stinks but I guess you can’t control that. The price as I said is fair and comparable. The bed was very comfortable for a good nights sleep. We had an accommodations room so it had lots of space especially in the washroom. No signs of bugs or anything concerning. Air conditioning, fridge present. Also a coffee a machine but we don’t use those. They had tv and included wifi as well as breakfast. They had a better gym than most Hotels, couple treadmills, elliptical, a weight rack, bench and an all-in-one machine. I would return here. Nice and clean. Near the football centre if you’re into that! Friendly staff. Great stay."
"Nice hotel very clean hot breakfast had good variety. The pool was an adequate size and the hot tub was hot easy access to all amenities in Grand Forks For parents with preschoolers the pool area has little splash pads and slides the pool stays open till 11 pm this is great for adults who want to shop go out to eat and then come back to hotel for swim"
"Enjoyable Stay. We will be coming back here the next time we visit Grand Forks! The Room was very clean and well organized, The breakfast was excellent. There was eggs, sausages, hash browns, toast, bagels, fruit, cereal (both hot and cold),tea , juice, milk and coffee. (and the coffe was excellent.) We had our small dog along and she was quite comfortable too. I love that this hotel is pet friendly because I hate leaving her at a kennel. Overall I most definitely would recommend La Quinta Hotel. "I got upgraded to a suite which is always a very nice experience having a seating area and a very spacious bedroom took the 2 queen beds as that was there best option. Staff polite professional and very helpful had a few questions and staff at Best Western I always do notice have great customer service. The amenities on site pool hot tub gym awesome I did enjoy the hot tub much rewarded after a long day driving. Breakfast is gradually changing isn’t not what it used to be with the hot breakfast but it getting much better much appreciated. Will certainly return."
"As usual I had a wonderful experience at best Western. Although the coronavirus limited somethings it was still a very pleasant stay. The rooms and lobbies were clean and comfortable and the staff were amazing. Can’t wait to return."
"The suite is very comfortable with a lot of room. The location is perfect with easy access to the Alerus center. A large selection of restaurants are within easy walking distance. The entire staff was efficient and pleasant. "

"This was a business trip for my husband an I. First impressions of the hotel were clean, modern and minimalist. Upon entering the room I was delighted to see a studio type layout. Couch, large ottoman, desk/chair wall unit that separated the living space from the sleeping space. We appreciated the mini fridge & microwave. The toilet room was separate from the shower room which was another huge bonus. The only downside was that the couch was very uncomfortable for prolonged sitting (understood it was made to double as a pull out bed, but it was over firm and uncomfortable. We appreciated the variety of foods they were able to provide for breakfast in light of this COVID time (yogurt, oatmeal, mini brioche egg & cheese sandwiches, mini muffins, juice & coffee)."
"The SpringHill Suites is a fabulous stop - clean, sparkling, COVID-19 consciousness evident, and more. The space is fresh and chic, rooms with great furniture, super beds, crisp bedding, and quiet/sweet. Family members also enjoyed a 'distanced' evening on the patio with fireplace glowing. Highly recommend - and thanks to LUKE, the hotel Manager. :)"
"We had a very nice stay over Christmas at this hotel while visiting different area relatives. The pool was clean, as were the rooms. Breakfast was ample and there were lots of choices from fruit to cereal to sweets and eggs. The rooms are spacious."

"We stay here often. Once again it was clean and employees were friendly. Breakfast is always good. I checked the online prices then called hotel to see if they could match it and he suggested to book online so I did. It was a late night as there was freezing rain north of Grand Forks so we didn’t use the pool this time. "
"I always stay at this hotel and have loved it in the past. I have stayed twice this month and this will be my last time. Neither time did ANY employee have a face mask on. Last time we got here really late and didn’t see too many people so I let it go...this time the hotel had many people staying. How am I suppose to feel like you care that my room is clean when the employees do not wear face masks to keep me safe? They come in contact with many people from many areas! You would think they would want to be safe also!"
"Visit to my son at University of North Dakota for his birthda . But also have a three year old, so we picked hotel for the kiddie pool area. Definitely was not worth the money paid. Will probably shop around more for next trip as we come to Grand Forks often. "

"This is a great hotel! The people working here are fantastic. We especially love Heather at reception. She has such a bubbly & friendly personality and makes us feel so welcome every time we visit. It has a very clean, nice reception area that has high bar tables & chairs and is the most perfect place to hang out having drinks or playing games. The big fireplace is beautiful too. The continental breakfast has so much variety and there is always something for everybody. The lounge area is very nice too and they even have free popcorn for the guests. For every night stay we also got a free drink in the lounge. The only disappointment was that the hot tub didn't work properly the first night we were there. It was losing water and they were filling it up with cold water during swimming hours and we had to sit in cool water. It would have been nice if this would have been done after pool hours closed. But otherwise this hotel is great! You defaintely won't be sorry you booked it! We will definately be back for our next girls weekend away! Your Canadian Friends"
"The manager, Kyla, is wonderful, as is everyone I encountered on my stay. Spent 7 weeks at this hotel in Nov-Dec 2019. Got to meet and know most of the staff and housekeepers. During this time, I witnessed first hand how they do their jobs. And with that knowleadge I chose to stay there again in February and it is my first choice, when in Grand Forks."
"Awesome hotel with a nice pool and location that worked for us. Hotel was clean, room was clean and breakfast was great, although they need to have some regular grape jelly, not just sugar free. There were minor issues but nothing critical."

"Our group of 14 booked here this last weekend. I can not say enough of how well maintained this hotel is kept. Staff continuously clean, even the front desk staff cleans instead of just sitting behind the front desk or in a back room. All the staff was friendly except the housekeepers. I’d say hello every time we passed and they’d never respond. Kinda disappointing but maybe they were busy with all they had to do. The room itself was very clean. Top to bottom no complaints. We used the breakfast dining room to play board games and sit and chat in the evenings. It was nice to have a big enough space to gather. The breakfast was good. Juice, milk and coffee available. Hot items included omelettes, bacon/sausage, biscuits and gravy and pancakes. The pool area was great. There’s two hot tubs and quite a large pool. Tables and chairs were set up in the space so you could go in or sit and visit. If you are looking for a hotel to stay I’d definitely recommend this one. "
"This hotel was very good at helping us out. First off we needed to park a second vehicle there the night before checking in and they had issue with that request. Secondly my wife ended up breaking her leg 3 days before staying there. We requested a handicape room and even though the hotel was very full were given one. This made out stay a lot easier as the bathroom access was easier. The breakfast buffet offered is above average."
"We haven’t stayed here in years. The rooms appeared to have been updated and they are very nice. Well kept hotel. Good breakfast. The staff working the breakfast bar worked very hard to keep everything refilled and clean. They did a great job"

"Had the pleasure of staying at this property for 4 great nights visiting family in Grand Forks. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly desk clerk, who took the time to thank us for being Hilton Honors members. Love the fact that Hilton lets you checkin and pick your room the day before you arrive...a great perk. The grounds were immaculate and lobby very clean. As this was our first travels since the COVID outbreak, cleanliness was important. Our room was very clean and big. The bathroom was clean as well and all the toiletries very well stocked. I'm guessing because of the COVID the hotel was not crowded at all. Sometimes it felt like we were the only ones there. ALL of the employees we encountered were so very nice, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was just a bit scaled down, understandably, but there was still great choices and plenty to eat. Both the attendants at breakfast were so kind and personable. The location of this property can't be beat, as there is plenty of shopping, restaurants, gas stations and mall very close by. Also, very easy access to and from I-29 for travelers. The lobby was always our family's get together point and it was very clean and welcoming. I would just like the thank ALL the employees here for such a great and memorable stay. They interacted with us and we were thanked many times for traveling and staying with them."
"I lived here for a month while teaching at UND. The staff are top notch and even became family to me during my stay. The place is very clean and well maintained. I had zero issues with any of this. They made sure every request I had was met. They also gave me the "local's" inside scoop of where all to explore. Given all of the snow on the ground & bitter cold, they still knew of the happening places. Bruce at the breakfast room is a wonderful host and puts together one hell of a breakfast. It's not your typical Hampton Inn breakfast either. So many choices and choices for those with special dietary needs as well. He's also a blast to chat with to start your day off right. Next time in the area.. I'll definitely be back! "
"We come to Grand forks often and have stayed at many hotels. This stay has been the best ever! Starting with the most friendly employees. They were always helpful, unlike the last place we stayed where the managers comment was "if you don't like it here go down the street". The room was very clean, and the mattress was the best! I even called to get the name of the mattress company. We will never stay at any other hotel. Thank you for a great stay."
