We picked this hotel due to its location close to Gare de Lyon, as we were arriving from vacation in southern France the evening before our flight out of France. The room was extremely small, but I feel the small size was well represented on their website. It was exactly as expected. It was also very clean and the staff was welcoming. A bonus was that the windows on the Juliet balcony opened, a nice surprise. I would not stay in this room category (classic double) for more than a stopover as there is no place to open suitcases or place clothes, but I was thought the price was very fair for what I got.

It's been renovated. It's great. Just come out of the train station, facing the sidewalk and the cafe on the right side, and walk straight for more than 200 meters to arrive. Very close! I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, it was 10 euros. I went directly to Carrefour and bought some stuff. It's not that expensive either. The bed is impossible to add, very small room.

Check-in et check-out super efficaces et personnel sympathique. Le seul défaut de l'hôtel est qu'il est un peu excentré et éloigné des lignes de métro. Il se situe en revanche à proximité immédiate du cimetière du Père Lachaise, un poumon de verdure et de tranquillité dans Paris.

The restaurant was great but the air quality in our rooms and hallways was unhealthy and suspicious to say the least. It smelled, and was damp and dark. Do not recommend especially if you've children. We checked in later in the evening after dinner and conditions were so bad in the rooms we had to check out and were lucky enough to find rooms at Mama Shelter West. Not fun, and the hotel did not refund our five nights which was the frosting on the cake. I highly DO NOT recommend lodging there. If there was a zero rating, I'd give that.

Location: Wonderful, it's next to Barcy Village, a shopping area, with many restaurants, cinemas and stores. Along with a park and the metro station, within a 2 min walk from the hotel. There is a Metro supermarket along with a Carrefour there too. On a map it seems a little far from the centre of Paris, but its a lovely walk along the river and a lesieryly walk took us into the heart of Paris within 1 hour walk, or just take a 10 min taxi ride or a 10 min subway ride. Location is great. If you go into the centre of Paris then you probably looking at small 11-18sqM rooms, don't do this, travel out a little bit and get a room that you can relax in. Room Good size, modern, clean. Big TV, fridge, desk etc... Some bad things now, the AC did not seem powerful enough to keep the room cold, it kept the room cool, but not cold. Also, there were no plug sockets near the bed for charging phones, so bring a really long charging cable Bed is comfortable and the big windows provided a nice open feeling (note, the windows do not open though) Fast Wifi too. Bathroom: Big, clean, modern. Good water pressure, a big mirror with good lighting but it did steam up - but not a big deal. Has a bathtub and shower combined. Breakfast / Food Buffet-style breakfast with patties, eggs, bread, yoghurt, cheeses, tea, and coffee - all pretty standard for most European hotels that offer breakfast. Cannot say I was amazed by it but was not disappointed either - normal. We did have dinner at the hotel which was lovely. Beautiful salad and pasta. No complaints here. Facilities It's like a modern art gallery. Has giant sculptures everywhere, table football, ping pong tables, a hairdresser/barber, a cinema room, a BBQ area, a pool, spa, gym... it's a lot for a hotel to have. It's almost too much but it's lovely to have and if you are spending a long time in the Hotel then there are many things you can do - but we were here only for a few days so did not try out everything. But much better to have than not. Gym Some free weights, a yoga studio area, a punching bag, callisthenics bars - it's all pretty good. Set in the basement of the hotel and accessible only by 1 of the 4 elevators they have is annoying, but again, Pullman offers a lot of facilities Pullman is a wonderful hotel which offers large rooms and is a plus in a city like Paris. Everything is clean and modern with only the AC power being below average. I cannot say Pullman is the cheapest hotel, next door there is an IBIS but we wanted a larger room - I would book Pullman again, especially if they have a good price. For a short stay it is good because of the location and for a long stay its good because of the room size and facilities.

Pros: The location of the hotel is very good. It is about 5 minutes walk from the subway station. It is also quiet and safe. The hotel has an underground parking lot and a swimming pool. Disadvantages: 1. Breakfast is too single, no change, if a good friend in English, it is recommended to go to the street cafe for breakfast. 2. The room is small. 3. Hotel service in general, no one at the door to help with the suitcase.

Let me talk about the shortcomings: they are older, the carpet looks particularly dirty, and the decoration has fallen off; the house has only one socket; Advantages: one, 2-3 minutes walk from Lyon station, 30 minutes walk from Notre Dame; two, the service staff is very nice, we fell a plate, I said I want to pay, they refused; there is a tall wear Mr. glasses, the people are very good. Most of the other front desks have madam. Third, the rooms are super large. We come to Europe every year. This time the rooms are relatively large and quiet. The beds are soft and comfortable. . Fourth, except the carpet looked dirty, the others were clean. Our schedule is very full every day, so we didn't take photos, but the rooms are basically the same as the photos, old European rooms. Anyway, if we go back to Paris, the azur hotel is the first choice.

Hotel was not at all what I was expecting. I was expecting a cute boutique hotel from Hilton and it was more like one you would book for a work trip. I booked the Signature Suite and was highly disappointed. Size was expected, as it is a Paris hotel, but we were promised a courtyard view but instead got a first floor view of construction mess/noise (and smell) that fully blocked any view we may have had with absolutely no warning of such. The hallways also had an odd and overwhelming smell. The pullout bed was heavily uncomfortable (it felt like sleeping on cardboard on top of cement) and the actual bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped.) The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything outside of the room. The stay was just really uncomfortable. The hotel is also not in a very convenient location if you’re there for site-seeing, which is not inherently a problem of the hotel, but was enough combined with the previously mentioned is what caused me to only stay one of the four nights that I booked.

Everything about this hotel was good, except for a non-functional AC. I know it is Paris and most hotels do not even have an AC. But when you come back after a hectic day, the room feels very stuffy and claustrophobic without AC. When I complained at the front desk about this, she told me to open the window. And not only that, I was asked to sign on a form which says that I asked the hotel to open the window and if anything worst happens, I am responsible. Really ! This was a uniquely weird experience first time in my entire travel history across many countries. Why cannot the hotel staff mention about this up front to all guests rather than waiting for them to complain? Location: Perfect ! The hotel is directly attached to the Gare De Lyon train station. Literally attached. We arrived in Paris by train from Zurich and were initially wondering about carrying our luggage. But it was just 2-3 minutes from getting down from the train in Hall-2 to the front desk of the hotel. Very very convenient. Even when we were roaming around Paris city, getting to the destination and getting back to the hotel was super easy. In most cases, Gare De Lyon is the starting point or the last point on the bus or the train. I highly recommend this hotel for the location. Besides, you have every kind of shop, restaurants, cafes and what not at the Gare De Lyon station. So need not worry about buying stuff or going out to eat as a last minute plan. Food: Decent food. Good taste and good spread. We found the breakfast at Novotel Paris slightly better than Novotel Zurich. I can compare because we came from Novotel Zurich to Novotel Paris. The number of items in the breakfast were lesser but the taste and choice of dishes was slightly better. But Novotel Zurich is a far better hotel in all other aspects. Room: Besides the AC problem mentioned above, there was another minor issue. The bathroom is by default completely transparent. You have to press a button inside to make the glass opaque. But even this is not 100% opaque but it is acceptable. Lastly, the bathroom door has no lock, which is also ok, as no one would just walk-in inside a bathroom. The size of the room was actually good, considering the kind of rooms you find in Paris. Three of us were able to sleep, walk around and keep our luggage comfortably in the room, so no complaints about the size of the room. Overall, I would rate 3.5/5 for this hotel. I hope they fix the AC problem and it can be very close to 5 star rating.

The only thing I liked about this hotel room was that the view was better than many other hotels in Paris. I had a room on the higher floor with an open view of Place Henri Frenay. Also, I could open the windows to let some fresh air in, something that cannot be done at most other hotels where the windows are sealed shut. However, the hotel was very mediocre at best. Water backing up in the bathroom sink. The room had a very dated look, cheap furniture, a bit of a musty odor. The front desk staff was helpful. The best thing about this hotel is its location, right at Gare de Lyon. My Lyria train arrived late night, but I was able to conveniently exit the station from the Place Henri Frenay exit and quickly walk into the Novotel with my luggage. I only spent one night at this hotel. Overall, this hotel is not for tourists looking for a fancy Paris experience. This hotel is ok for a quick overnight stay, if you are going to use Gare de Lyon for transit, and if you cannot get a room at the Courtyard by Marriott, which is also close to Gare de Lyon.

We had the standard room for this stay. Compared to the upgraded room, it felt a tad more basic and smaller. But nonetheless we like and book this hotel for the fact it is right smack at Gare de Lyon, and the benefits that come along with it.

Had to stay over a night in Paris to make train connection, and was told about the Mercure. Great convenient spot next to the Gare de Lyon, clean, comfortable, quiet with great breakfast and helpful staff. As it was booked via agency, I can't comment on price or value for money.

On the All Accor website, you search (and pay for) a hotel with a 4 * room, clean, with air conditioning and 4 * service. Wrong. You are in an old hotel, with leaking pipes even at the reception (see photo). Basically you are in a Motel, without working air conditioning in the rooms, without working fridge, with a very very hot room that is not clean, without the possibility of sleeping even with open door and open window. However, you can complain, of course. And at the reception: they don't do anything, they tell you they can't do anything about it, they give you a fan that you have to keep on the threshold of the door to let the air in from the corridor. Great solution, so no one sleeps! (see photo) You obviously leave the hotel earlier than the booking, and they (after two hours of discussion, at night, since during the day they didn't warn you that they wouldn't fix the air conditioning and fridge) they write you that they will refund your money, and they write you by when they will refund you. Then you go away sure they will refund you: they wrote it to you! And then they don't. Then you call them back and write to them. And they don't answer you. So probably at the end, if no one will reply to your email, to your complain form, to your calls, you will need to go to a lawyer to have your money back. I will write here the end of this unlucky holyday, when it will come to an end

Novotel is a bit old, clean and decent room. There are very few staff at the reception, which facilitates check-in and check-out procedures. The mystery of room billing through Trip.com is that it is difficult for the receptionist in Charenton-le-Novotel to find the document bridge, the hotel or the site does not provide an invoice... still do not understand how it works!

The overall stay at the hotel was good. The location was the best thing for us as it’s just opposite the metro making it easy to go around Paris. The rooms are a bit small. We were a family of 5 and took 2 rooms with a sleeper couch. Not much space to move around when the couch is open. We found the toilet separate from the bathroom a bit inconvenient. Breakfast ends earlier compared to other hotels and was very busy so it was always a rush for us. The DIY egg station was not the best. The kids were entertained with balloons and meeting Mario which was nice.
- Guest User
The room was spacious and beautiful. There was a separate bath and toilet, so I was able to spend comfortably. The staff was kind and the access was good, and although it was my first time traveling alone, I was able to stay with peace of mind. Breakfast was also very good.
