Jardin de la Union 7,Colonia Centro Hist, Guanajuato, Mexico
"The location of the hotel is very convenient on the side of the Union Garden, next to the Juarez Theatre, most of which can be reached within 5 or 6 minutes on foot. The hotel service was very warm, and the hotel also presented a cake as it coincided with the anniversary. The room size is not too big, and the window is Union Square. In the night, Guanajuato is still relatively cool. The hot air of the hotel air conditioner is not very strong, and it can barely ensure that the room temperature does not drop. As it was about to leave at around 9:00, the hotel started at 9am, so the hotel prepared a breakfast basket, but unfortunately it was too simple, including only an apple, a glass of juice and a biscuit."
"The location is very good. I booked a room of 32 square meters. I went to the shop and called Sara. The Sara was only 26 square meters and the lighting was very poor. It felt a bit strange. I remembered the next morning and looked at the name. I asked the front desk to say that the room I had booked was already in the same day. So, just give another arrangement and don't give any instructions. Is this all right? Take a taxi to the airport, Uber called the car 300, the hotel staff said they called faster, and the taxi price, on the bus said 550, anxious to go to the airport will not care. Guanajuato Uber is less, go to the airport / station is recommended to call the car 20 minutes in advance"

Positos 33, Guanajuato, Mexico
"A very beautiful hotel with a very small door opening. It is a little inconvenient to park in a narrow road at the entrance, but it is still possible to quickly drop off your luggage. The name Art Hotel is not an exaggeration. It has an artistic atmosphere, and many places are beautifully photographed. The view is also first-rate, the small courtyard outside this twin room can see the colorful houses of Guanajuato, which are very good during the day and night. The geographical position is superior, just in the small town, quiet in the middle of noisy, a few minutes walk to the most lively central area and various attractions."
"Very beautiful art hotel. The rooms are very exotic. You can take beautiful photos in every corner of the hotel. Take a small elevator in the hotel to go to the commanding heights. While soaking in the pool, you can admire Guanajuato’s most worthwhile sights Layers of colorful roofs provide a great view. The location is also very good, not far from the central district, the cathedral, the museum, the market, the garden in the middle of the street, and the university. It only takes a few minutes to walk. Quiet in the noisy, very good, if you come again, you will definitely choose here."
"This hotel should be one of the best hotels in Guanajuato, with a domestic 4 star level and a 5 star hotel in Mexico. There is a swimming pool and the top floor is excellent."

Paseo de la Presa de la Olla 80-A, Guanajuato, Mexico
"We had very high expectations before arriving! Generally, I have to say that we spent a great time at Villa María Cristina, but to be honest, I have to mention a few details that we noticed: 1. We spent all mornings sunbathing or just relaxing at both of the pool areas... there were maintenance crews passing by all the time, and that's kind of uncomfortable, to say the least. Two out of our three days, the pool inside the spa area was treated with chemicals to keep it clean... when the spa was open for guest use, and not at nighttime when the spa is closed! 2. The restaurant food was very good, but... every time we ate there, it took too long for the food to get to our table! The bar was even slower than the restaurant: One night we came in to the bar to have a couple of drinks before going to sleep, and when I ordered a mezcal to the waiter, I noticed a weird face on him, then he walked to the other end of the hall and disappeared, and after 15 minutes another waiter came and asked me what I wanted to drink, because the first waiter didn't know a bit about what I wanted to drink... so once again I said a mezcal, then he walked away, and came back 15 minutes later with my mezcal... so that's a total of 30 minutes to have a mezcal over my table! 3. One morning we went to the gym to do some workout, and I wanted to use the climbing machine, but... it wasn't working! Aside from those little details, my general rating of this hotel would have been perfect! Sorry!"
"The Villa Maria Christina is a class act without being stuffy. The rooms are spacious with wood floors, art, nice cabinetry and a very comfortable bed. A shower and jacuzzi. A hidden benefit: they have their own water purifying system so you can drink out of the tap and don’t have to mess with bottled water — though they do furnish free bottles daily. Breakfasts are delicious with wonderful fruit and made-to-order hot dishes, again quite reasonably priced. We didn’t eat other meals at the hotel, preferring to eat in the Centro as part of absorbing the local culture. The hotel is sited about a 25 minute walk (or US$ 3.00 taxi) to the downtown area, which is a real advantage because the area is very quiet. What separates this property from most hotels is the visible presence of the general manager, Klaus Lapp. He seems to be everywhere, especially checking with guests in a sincere manner (not the usual off-hand comment “how are things going”) and follows through on suggestions or inquiries. I’d return here in a heartbeat :)"
"This is the most amazing hotel someone would expect in such a destination. Beyond Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Capella or any VIRTUOSO property I have lately stayed at. The premises are absolutely gorgeous, and the room was truly amazing in regards to size, furnishings, amenities, commodities & sleep quality. Rest assure that I will be back soon, and recommend this hideaway for anyone traveling to Mexico.... By the way, the town of Guanajuato is fabulous too. There is a photographic scene wherever you turn. Absolutely stunning!!! This is a MUST SEE place for every tourist visiting Mexico, and Villa Maria Christina is the MUST accommodation to stay at... I promise, you won’t regret!!!"

Plaza de la Paz #48, Centro Historico, Guanajuato, Mexico
"The location is great, one step away from the attraction cathedral. The room is very large and seems like a suite. Clean and beautiful. There is a microwave. The big bed can sleep 3 people. The bath water is big and hot. The disadvantage is that the layout of the old house is not reasonable, the space is wasted, the bathroom is small, and there is no lamp on the table, which is not convenient for reading. Breakfast is very simple."
"The location is excellent, tens of meters away from the church, the surrounding environment is very good, even if the evening is very late pedestrians. The rooms are large and furnished with good service. English is a little bit worse. highly recommended."
"The hotel is right at the entrance of the sanctuary, very easy to find. The room is big beyond my imagination. It is more like an ancient building. The Airbnb is very beautiful. Breakfast is also ok. Recommend to stay~"

Antigua de Gallos No 13,Zona Centro, Guanajuato, Mexico
"Stayed 6 nights in this wonderful brand new hotel. Perfect location close to the center. Stayed in the junior queen room with view on the city. Room very comfortable, beautiful bathroom. The complete layout of this property is just stunning beautiful! Rooftop is the max! The only minus was the noise on the rooftop from Monday till Friday because of the construction of the expanding of the hotel. They work till late in the evening so during those days you can't spend any time on the terrace till late in the evening. They don't work from Friday till Monday in order not to disturb the (weekend) hotel guests. But what with guests during the week? Ladies at the reception were very kind, the man not. Christian was kind and helpful. A big thanks to Potty, one of the cleaning ladies. She made sure that all was perfect even though my room was not under her responsibility. Very friendly lady and devoted to her job. Also big thanks to the bar tender. If you arrive by taxi make sure you have the complete address + phone number with you. As the hotel is new the taxi driver had a hard time to find it. Without doubt I will stay in this hotel again!"
"My parents and I just completed our stay and we must say it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We had previously stayed at a hotel near the Jardín but they didn’t have any available rooms. This turned out to be just as good if not better! My parents had the master suite (the one without the hot tub) and I had the junior suite. The master suite had a really nice stand alone tub, both were very spacious and had great views of the alley and the colorful houses. This is definitely our new favorite hotel in Guanajuato. "

CALLE PARDO 5, Guanajuato, Mexico

Camino Antiguo A Marfil Km 2.5, Guanajuato, Mexico
"This hotel is situated on the outskirts of Guanajuato so one needs to have transportation to the old city. It is an authentic mission which has had some renovation. We were fortunate to have a renovated room which was spacious and nicely decorated. There was a patio and swimming pool but we were not there long enough to make use of it. Staying in this Mexican hacienda was an experience. "
"Pros: -big spacious rooms -recently renovated, except for the bathroom -the food at the restaurant is ok -comfortable beds -great location if attending a party at La Antigua Cons: -lobby not ver convenient for dropping of your luggage -major renovation needed at the bathrooms -hard and confusing to get to some rooms since the hotel is allocated on a hill "
"I stayed here as part of a two week Mexico trip this winter. The rooms were not ready when we arrived so we put three people’s belongings in one room, and left the key at the front desk so that if anyone wanted to go back before the others they could and have access to their belongings. When we got back to the hotel at 9 PM, they were unable to locate our key or find our reservation. The clerk at the front desk did not try to speak to me in English – and him and his friend laughed at us when we tried to speak in Spanish. We finally got access to the room where all of our belongings were, and the clerk left to bring up the two additional hotel keys, and never came back. Breakfast was in at a bar, the staff was rude, and the hotel was not in a central location. There was a wedding happening the week and we were here and the rooms were very loud late into the evening. The only thing this hotel has going for it is a beautiful pool. "
