I was recognized as a Hilton Diamond as soon as I stepped in the door and treated as such throughout our stay, including a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel staff is fantastic: helpful, friendly, and courteous. The room we stayed in (King Deluxe with city view) was clean and comfortable with plenty of space to move around. The breakfast is fantastic! The hotel has an Executive Lounge that is adequate, if not luxuriant. Like most Hilton Lounges these days, it features the basics and a few American hot snacks in the evening (ah, for the old days in European Hiltons). It’s nice to have, though, when so many are disappearing entirely. Parking is easy, if a bit pricey for an out of center city location. Like many Hilton’s, this hotel is a decent but doable walk from most points of interest. But it’s location on an outer canal is beautiful, and it is quiet and restful. We will certainly return, and I highly recommend this Hilton.

We picked this hotel because it’s away from the crowds of the city. Very peaceful and had no complaints. We walked to the tram to go into the city. A taxi is good if not wanting to walk 15 minutes to the tram. We walked to the museums nearby. It’s about !5 minutes. The room was nice with an upgrade to canal view. Staff were all friendly and even gave us a glimpse into the John Lennon suite. Breakfast was good with lots to choose from. Special thanks to our waiter Beau! He was so helpful and sweet! We also enjoyed the executive lounge each evening. There also are chairs and tables outside right by the canal with swans cruising by. We were there every evening relaxing after a busy day in town. Ask for a fan or windows opened because a/c is sometimes not cool enough.

Booked a double bed, the bed is queen size, no problem to sleep with children. The most intimate thing is that when the child gets sick in the Netherlands, ask the hotel if there is a doctor. The hotel is still very powerful. It was almost 10 o'clock in the evening and the doctor was invited to the room for treatment. Prescription hotels can also help to get medicine. Although small expensive but good value for money. In addition, the children of the hotel were told that they are more sensitive to the air. They came over at night to handle the sheets and changed the sheets again. Breakfast is quite rich for European hotels. If you are traveling by car, the hotel also has a parking service, with a parking space of 90 euros a day, and will help us wash and clean the garbage in the car for free. The next time I come to Amsterdam, I will still fix him, very satisfied.

The best hotel in Amsterdam, and the most satisfying one in my 21-day journey in Europe. The location of the hotel is great. It has greatly improved my impression on the service in Europe. The restaurant downstairs is of Michelin two stars, which needs an earlier reservation.

This hotel is awesome. The loft house I chose to live in is full of high-tech sinks. There is a TV in the mirror. I can use the whole hotel. It is like a museum full of literary atmosphere. When a gentleman leads me to visit the hotel. And the history of the hotel was first explained by a bank and later became a conservatory. The hotel was renamed as the current hotel. The location is especially great. The National Museum Van Gogh Museum walks for 5 minutes. It has a great seafood walk 2 minutes back to the room and finds the bed to help sleep. The fragrance spray and the weather conditions of the next day will be especially intimate and will choose this hotel.

I arrived at the hotel at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. The room was not ready. I started waiting for 20 minutes. I waited in the lobby for more than an hour. I said that I would change the room and I don't want to continue, but it is still useless. Then after the check-in, there was no water supply. Everything was rushed to arrange it. It took about one hour for a converter to be sent. The environment was very good. The scenery was very good, but the service really didn't match the price.

Super five-star hotel, take a free ferry from Central Station 10 minutes to the North Shore, enter the NDSM Art District, 10 minutes to the hotel, a total of only three rooms, are independent, very refined and comfortable, super vision. From the top to the top of the night, you can take photos on the tower crane, which is very exciting, the only crane hotel in the world.

Awesome, location is invincible, you have to buy something to walk within 5 minutes to buy. Very new hotel, the whole hotel is less than 20 rooms, people are not mixed, the lights can be magical. The 2018ams hotel is topped. I will come back next time.

The price is definitely the first in Amsterdam. The room is better than Waldorf.

Reviews From Real Travelers
We are staying at the Intercontinental hotels as our main hotel and have been most impressed. Our stay at the Amstel was so pleasant! The staff was absolutely amazing, every person we encounter was so helpful and kind. It is impossible to single out anyone as each team member was great. We ate at the hotel all of our meals except one and the food and service were perfect. We were so grateful that although the afternoon tea was full they were able to accommodate us in another beautiful location where our view was spectacular. We are in hotels 150 nights a year and our experience at the Amstel was one of the very best. The staff members were such nice quality people. They thanked us for allowing them to provide assistance to us. We were so humbled by the generosity of the hotel staff. While dining everyone pitches in and help one another and whatever we could want was provided immediately. Thank you very much with complete sincerity and gratitude. The management should be commended for encouraging such terrific service. We look forward to our next visit to Amsterdam and staying at the Amstel.

Riverside dinning - fresh air, caring service and all dishes to your entire satisfaction. I like their fish soup going with seafood on toast, tasty oysters and their sashimi like yellow tail ; side by side the beautiful scenery by the river making it an impeccable total dinning experience. The best one I had in Amsterdam.

This is definitely a large hotel in the mini Amsterdam. The hotel decoration is very good. It's new and clean. It is very convenient to go to the downtown.

The surrounding environment is quite good. The service is absolutely first class. The suite will be selected next time. The classic room is a bit small.

Great location, near to food places and the canal. The only time it was inconvenient is over the weekends when the close off the roads after 10.30pm till 7am the next morning so taxi or ubers can't drop you off at your hotel lobby, so something to be wary of when checking in or out with huge luggages over the weekend. Nothing to complain about the hotel itself however, will definitely be back!
- Guest User
Very old hotel with a changed house. Service is average, not a luxury hotel service. The location is particularly good, and it is very convenient to go out. I will consider staying next time. In addition, to call the car back to the hotel at night, you must call the hotel front desk, and there are roadblocks.
