河津桜を見たくて、前日に泊まりました。16時に到着したら、「19時半からの夕食しか空いていません」と言われました。鉄板焼は２部制。早く到着して17時半を確保したら良かったのですが、大室山にも寄り道したかったので、仕方ないな～と諦めました。展望露天風呂の部屋だったので、お風呂に入ったり、ところてん(湯上がり処)を食べたりして過ごしました。 鉄板焼は、伊勢エビ、金目鯛、アワビ、肉(ヒレ、サーロイン、鹿から選びます)など豪華。造りも出ますが、冷蔵庫に入れて時間が経っているのか乾いていました。最後のお味噌汁は驚くほど少量でした。 朝も洋食は鉄板焼と同じ場所でソーセージやオムレツ(スクランブルエッグ、目玉焼きも選べます)、フレンチトーストを焼いてくれました。美味しかったです。 建物全体はやや古い印象で高級旅館のようなイメージではありませんが、掃除が行き届き、サービス面で頑張っていると思います。大浴場の露天風呂や部屋からの眺望は素晴らしかったです。
