114 Muiz Li Din Allah street, Gamalyia, Cairo, Cairo Governate, Egypt
"It happened so that me and my wife stayed at this cozy place three times during our trip to Egypt, spent there six nights altogether and tried two of their suites. Each of them bears a unique name and our first was Calligraphy. A spacious one, two rooms, elegant, exquisite - you feel as if you are in an old, Ottoman-times' apartment, with consonant furniture, chandeliers, mashrabiyas (wooden latticed window screens) and an open balcony facing the Old Town. A gorgeous bathroom (though no mirror lighting - a drag for ladies), impeccable and numerous towels, rugs on the floor, cleanest bedclothes. Our second - and favourite - one was Ottoman. Three rooms (!), same advantages, a compliment from the management upon arrival (tasty local cookies), nice mirror lighting, by the way, great decor, very comfortable. A piece of art! The staff - from general manager to porter - was absolutely awesome. Smiling, ready-to-help, hospitable, knowledgeable. In a nutshell, professional and effective. Their food was very good too. Lavish breakfasts boasted local specialties (don't remember their names but damn yummy), an omelette, a huge croissant, pita bread, cheese and juices/tea/coffee - yes, they prepare Turkish one! We also had dinner there and loved it, both the quality and size of dishes and the price and especially ambience of a rooftop open-air terrace. Do mind though that no alcohol consumption is allowed in public areas (but not in suites, naturally) as well as smoking in rooms - but for balconies! Disadvantages are: 1. The property needs investment, first of all concerning public areas and primarily their restaurant. Not a big thing but still... 2. Since the hotel nestles in the heart of the Old Cairo please be prepared that this bustling quarter will not let you fall asleep till 1am - guaranteed. Double windows would not help much. 3. At dusk muezzins' calls for prayer would most probably wake you up - their loudspeakers are literally a stonecast from Le Riad. 4. Internet is really a bottleneck. We faced this problem practically every day, the staff kept on fixing it successfully but it re-appeared time and again. 5. Be ready that some time after 8pm there hardly be anyone there who speaks English. It's not a big headache either since those on duty would call up either the gentleman at the front desk who'd left or even directly the general manager and the problem you face would most probably be solved anyway. But, whinging aside, this is a great place to stay at if you are looking not for those faceless glass-and-concrete behemoths (Hiltons, Marriotts, Sheratons, etc., etc., etc.) but something really authentic. And they are fair guys, by the way - when in spring we had to cancel our reservation due to covid hysteria they did not charge us no-show fee. And this time around the management was kind enough to let us check in earlier and then check out much later - as a courtesy. Our sincere gratitude to you all and first of all to Mr Rafik, General M"
"We stayed here for three nights in Nov 2020 in room 10. Each room has a theme and Room 10 is “cinema”. It has a large bathroom, reading room with desk and couch, while the bedroom has TV and king sized bed. Staff at the hotel are attentive and friendly. The Manager was great! Our breakfast was included and served until 10.30 am each day on the rooftop with a great view! Try the Lemon Mint drink - delicious! Hotel is in walking distance of the Bazaar. Many eating opportunities around the area. We had family members stay in room 11, which was a bit larger and had a balcony, however they mentioned the street noise was even louder than in our room 10. The street in front of the hotel is lively until midnight each day. You also have to get used to the morning prayers starting around 5 am - speaker seems to be right across the street. If you turn on the AC it helps to drown the street noise a little bit. Nonetheless, the hotel is beautiful and unique if you’d like to experience a boutique hotel instead of another Hilton or Marriott. "
"The food and atmosphere were incredible, to say the least. Our stay was 3 nights, Nov. 8-10, 2020. The nighttime is lively and noisy in a good way. The call to prayer can be heard...And at around midnight, the streets roll up and you'll have a good night! There was AC available and a safe for belongings. Very, very charming. You will not regret this stay. The pyramids are about an hours drive from here."

"Old five-star hotel, hotel facilities are old, but the service did not have to say. Breakfast is quite rich, still a little worse than two years ago, haha"
"Good location, for a 5-stars hotel the rooms are a bit old and they weren't clear on amenities available. Overall not too bad. "
"Breakfast is too bad, the room is old, the chair by the pool is dirty, the front desk is good, very patient, really not suitable for living"

"This should be the best hotel in Egypt. It was really good. I arrived at the hotel at 11 that night and the front desk was very enthusiastic. I waited for the room to open for almost 30 minutes. The process was a bit slow, but the front desk said it would arrange for me. A room with a better view. I didn't expect the room to be really pleasantly surprised. The view is great. You can view the entire Nile and the Egyptian Museum. The entire suite is large, there is a living room, two bathrooms, and the room is large. Anyway, this hotel I am very satisfied, the room catering service is also great, and the price of the dishes is not expensive, but the charge for the drinks in the mini bar is lowered. I now drink at many high-end hotels, but they are not charged when I check out Money for drinks. The whole room was a surprise to me, it was scary to live alone. The quality of the equipment needs to be improved. The quality of the hotel can best reflect the quality of the hotel products after staying in so many high-quality hotels. The hair washed by this product is not smooth. Even if the conditioner is used, it is still very astringent. It really needs to be improved. All hotels use care packages from Hermès, L'Occitane, and some niche fragrances, and it is highly recommended to improve their equipment."
"The Ritz-Carlton, Nile Hotel in Cairo is far from the Ritz-Carlton in China, but it is a very good hotel in Cairo, Egypt. The location is very good, next to the Nile and the Egyptian Museum, it is very convenient, because we are near After the second time, the only drawback is that in the old town, the surrounding environment is relatively shabby, you must be careful when crossing the road, but I would still recommend it to friends."
"The breakfast is very good, there is a parking lot, it is suitable for children, the extra bed does not need money, the hotel is very big, but the breakfast is not suitable for the Chinese to eat less Western or Arabic, the old Cairo is very chaotic, the hotel is in Next to the Nile River and the museum, I would like to admire the Nile River directly to the top of the hotel to order a glass of wine to enjoy it slowly. It is not recommended to cruise, and there are many liar."

1189 Nile Corniche, Downtown, Cairo, Cairo Governate, Egypt
"This is the most satisfying hotel for this 50-day trip to Egypt. Hotel items are complete, toothbrushes, shaving machines, electric irons, face towels and even mouthwash are provided to the room, no need to call for another request. Now many five-star hotels do not know why, but instead do not provide toothbrushes in the room, you need to call to send. This is very stupid practice, the guest just arrived, his suitcase is not opened, call the front desk, may not have change to tip, do not tip, make oneself feel sorry, the hotel does this, it is not from the customer's perspective. The hotel is very new, I heard that is the latest five-star hotel in Cairo, so the room furniture looks very new and very eye-catching. Hotel health and service are very good, giving tips is better. Hotels can help provide home PCR tests, which is convenient for years of travel. I have eaten Trip.com's losses before. There may be internal corruption. Change my big room to a small room. Thanks to the order I sent to the hotel directly from Trip.com, I learned the truth. So I booked with Trip.com, I only booked the most basic room. When I arrived at the hotel, I will consider upgrading. The Nile is not spacious enough in the Cairo section, so it's not much to book a river view room. Not much different from looking at the big ditch. The western restaurant in the hotel is delicious. After I taught them Chinese style frying lettuce, they have been very Chinese. Later, the children's shoes are blessed:"
"The st.regis hotel is located cairo near the city center and on a river. It is very clean and well services provided ,you can also enjoy famous restaurants .it is perfect and recommend "

Road 13, Villa 63,Maadi, Cairo, Cairo Governate, Egypt
"I seldom write reviews. But I saw the mix bag of reviews for Belle Epoque, I felt the need to chime in. I am not a big hotel kind of a traveler. So, when I booked the flights to Cairo, I started looking. This was the only (or the only nice looking) boutique hotel I found. Some friends warned me Egypt doesn't do boutique hotels well, and yes, the reviews freaked me out a bit. But I couldn't bring myself to book one of those chain hotels... so I took a gamble. It paid off. Really paid of! The neighborhood is tree-filled, lush green, relaxed and quiet residential area loved by embassies and posh locals. Lots of nice restaurants, cafes, shops within walking distance. Locals told me they walk everywhere in this neighborhood. Many also told me they often come to Belle Epoque for the pool, or for lunch. You may spend your day in the hustle bustle of busy chaotic Cairo doing tourists stuff, so why not pick the most laid back beautiful villa to go back to relax at night? I loved Cairo, and I am definitely coming back. And when I am coming back, I will definitely stay here again. PS: beautifully decorated spacious rooms, nice and friendly staff. "
"I chose the hotel for the convenience to where I was going to be working. The hotel is in a very nice part of Cairo, hard to reconcile the lushness here with the normal Egyptian scenery of sand dunes and camels. There are various embassies and institutes nearby and a big police presence which was reassuring The hotel itself is a colonial residence and quaint. Certainly, very different from the chains. The ambience within is that of a boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I was very happy with my room and the amenities. My only quibble was the wi-fi and not particularly comfortable work conditions The outside seating area is lovely to sit out the sunset. The pool is small but nice, but is in the dining area, and so you have limited access if you are working, so I had to make sure to return early to make use of it. Many of the reviews mention the food. Out of necessity I are there all 3 nights I stayed. I found the food to be mediocre. I later stayed in other hotels nearby and found some brilliant places to eat and regret I was not more adventurous when I stayed at the Belle Epoque If I was being a tourist and not working, I would certainly recommend this hotel"
"I am always researching where fo stay in Egypt as I offer tours in this beautiful country- this is the best in Cairo! A perfect colonial, nostalgic experience with dining to match! The decor, swimming pool, gardens, sitting rooms and balconies all remind us of times gone by! This is a place to relax in style. The area is also high class so local Egyptians will dine here. Possibly the best food I have eaten in Egypt!"

35 Giza Street, Oula, Giza, Egypt
"One of the best hotels in Cairo, with the highest ratings, I ca n’t help but be disappointed after check-in. The hotel lobby is very small. How can I not think that it is a five-star Four Seasons hotel, but the room is over 80 square meters, the facilities are very good, and the breakfast is ok. Yes, it's $ 25. Lebanese restaurants are also available. There is a famous shopping mall on the first floor on the third floor, as well as light meals. I worked in Cairo, Egypt for some time 30 years ago. At that time, the population of 50 million people in Egypt was much more advanced than China. It was better managed now, cleaner, and more prosperous than Beijing. But I've searched for thousands of miles to get old, I'm too backward, too messy, I can't recognize it! I have witnessed the changes of the motherland with my own eyes. In the past 30 years, no country in the world can compare with them. Only people with witnesses will be sincerely proud of the progress of the motherland. It's worth a visit to see the pyramids and ancient Egyptian civilization."
"Thanks to the recognition of the first quarter of the hotel service from Egypt's Cairo-Aswan-Abu Simbel-Luxor-Red Sea, she returned to her arms. The service standards of the Four Seasons Hotel are still relatively uniform throughout the world. If you admire modernity and cherish the quality of service, she will not let you down. Although located in the Giza area, the hotel is located in the center of the city from the Cairo City Bridge. The hotel’s street-facing room is close to the Cairo Zoo (across the road, known as the largest and oldest in Africa). The aforementioned landscape can also be seen from the Nile. The breakfast is rich but not very Chinese. The children (within 12 years old) do not charge meals. It is good to have a singer in the evening at the hotel pool and sing a glass of wine to listen quietly."
"(Living at the Four Seasons Hotel in Cairo is the only good thing in this itinerary. The hotel and the hotel are not a world at all.) The service and environment are all four seasons. In addition, the rooms are delicious. The towels, towel racks, luggage racks, etc. have a faint aromatherapy quilt. Every day they come back and they are neatly fold Nothing can be found and all the item lines are specially clean and neat (housekeeper is a little brother) The restaurant in firstmall is better than the restaurant on the fourth floor and the taste of the four seasons is good. The key price is reasonable. I stayed for two days anyway I ate at the hotel for four meals and did n’t dare to go out to find food"

"The room has no balcony and is relatively small, and the view from the window is average. The main thing is that travel is not very convenient. I lived there for a few days. The taxi driver often went the wrong way."
"Very suitable hotel for vacation, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi are all available, the rooms are also very large, there is also a large shopping mall nearby, and it is also close to the airport"
