"L'Hotel De Beaune is a wonderful place to stay during your visit to Beaune. It is located in the heart of the Beaune surrounded by quaint shops and cafes. The staff at Hotel De Beaune was so helpful with suggesting of sites to visit, places to explore and recommendations for restaurants. The hotel itself was had a simple elegance and grace. and the rooms were very well appointed, comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend staying at L'Hotel De Beaune and look forward to returning. I would also highly recommend eating at their restaurant."
"This is a simple hotel with good rooms, good food in the courtyard, and good location if you want to stretch your legs after a long day of driving. Pick the rooms to get the size you want (we had a 50 sq m room for about 350 EUR) and good service. Personally I find it great value for money, but it is not a 5* hotel in the conventional sense. Remember to book a car space if you need one as the hotel has very limited parking space. The hotel staff is attentive but not in your face, and welcoming of pets."
"Well we were pretty lucky!...Left our Swiss ski resort because it was closed down due to Coronavirus and arrived for our stay ... a lot of people had cancelled...as usual the hotel was a welcome relief from the chaos and we booked in for dinner ...Spectacular is all i can say and half way though our dinner our waiter said this will be the last dinner until the government allow them to reopen! ..all the staff were brilliant and we very much look forward to our next visit."

"Our August, 2019 second stay remains a cherished memory. The effortless ease, casual luxury, faultless execution of hospitality and cuisine remained intact from five years previously. But it's not just fancy food and cosmetics. This is a serious place to refine your taste for Burgundy (the place and the wine). Consider the hotel a school, the tariff as tuition. If at all possible, stay at least a single night so that you can sample the superior level of evening menu degustation, two tours, and breakfast with ample time for a tutorial after that. A tutorial? yes. Give yourself a gift of acquaintance with Charles Devarennes, sommelier. Not merely to confirm the wine selections with dinner. Instead, offer serious discussion of your taste and desires to learn. The information will stay with you for a long time. M. Devarennes guided us to the purchase of a case of vins de Leflaive. More than that, he provided us with introductions in Pommard, Corton, and Chambolle Musigny...all of which were individually matched to our palates (yours will be quite different). Tonight we had a 2014 Leflaive Champ Gain Puligny 1er. Many others will follow over the next 6-8 years. It's painful to learn that the maison is closed for now (the virus?), and you should alert yourself to the time when it reopens. Sante."
"We spent a number of nights at this hotel and found it wonderful. We were a group of 5 Australians touring the wine areas, and when we saw the Laflaive family had a hotel in Puligny-Montrachet we decided it was the place to stay. Although the Laflaive family is famous for the extremely high quality white burgundies, they still have a hotel, restaurant and winery tours and tastings with a wonderful personal taste. The whole experience is very memorable. It is the family that greets you at the hotel, in the restaurant, and in the winery. They go above and beyond in providing a wonderful and memorable time. Thank you to the Laflaive family."
"Had one of the Opale rooms on the top floor, overlooking the quiet town square. Very pleasant, well-appointed and equipped. Staff very helpful. Do take advantage of one of the multi-course wine -pairing dinners-- wonderful and the wine servers are very knowledgeable."

"We took advantage of a half board offer with wine included. The menu du jardin was very good, the service excellent. Whilst the wine by the glass is good, if you love Burgundian wine, I’d select your own bottle and a half from the comprehensive list. The service is impeccable and the breakfast buffet is also v high quality. We liked the dining room but the tables all are laid facing inwards so you miss the views over the garden. Great location in the heart of Puligny Montrachet. The bedroom we had was not of the same standard not withstanding the lovely bathroom. Also it was a shame that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, which other French high end hotels are now providing."
"Everything from the moment you arrive is luxury. The setting here is beautiful in this unassuming famous Burgundy village where you can park your car in the park that has a charging point for EVs. Owner and Maître d'hôtel Thierry Gazagnes and Sommelier Andre Berthier are masters of their art. Both are very welcoming at this fine dining restaurant with superb very extensive wine list that will match any exquisite dish that Chef Romain Versino's cuisine can produce. A must for a genuine food and wine gourmand."
"My fifth visit after a 12 year gap. The restaurant food, drink and service were all excellent. The staff were friendly and keen to help. Although the bedroom was small, it was very comfortable. A good centre for exploring Beaune and area."

"This is one of the most memorable stays for us in recent years. This is a really old Monastery converted into an Incredibly Charming and Lovely hotel. Bruno Epailly and his lovely charming wife took upon themselves to transform this Monastery into a Hotel. And both of them and their Superb Team provide the most fantastic and loving service one can ask for. The rooms are super comfortable with all modern electronics. Bathrooms are modern. Beauty products are from Clarins. Breakfast was superb - you select what you want and they freshly cook it and bring it to you (and included in room rate) !!! Yes, there are ancient spiral staircase to the rooms, but they help you with the luggage. We did not have dinner at the hotel, but I am sure it is world class with a world class wine selection, including the best of Burgundy Wine. The hotel is walking distance from almost all of Beaune restaurants, bars, attractions. Beaune is a an incredibly charming and picturesque city - almost like in those children's storybooks. I want to visit Beaune again to spend time in other vineyards. And I will stay here only. Only piece of advice: If you are arriving by train, inform the hotel in advance of your arrival timings. They may arrange to receive you. We waited 1.5 hours for a taxi, and the two empty taxis we came across did not want to make the 5 minute drive to the hotel !!! Bruno was kind enough to drop us to the train-section upon our departure."
"The city of Beaune is so historic and staying in an extraordinary hotel like this adds to the texture of the experience. The service was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive (Amie most especially). Our room was spacious and more than comfortable with lovely products. The omelette I had for breakfast was the best I've ever had and the homemade cakes were special. The spiral staircase ensures that you will get your steps in for the day - pack light. The dining room is elegant and romantic. Dinner was delicious and the wine list has just the right array."
"We love the the Abbaye! The staff were super friendly especially the owners Bruno and Emmanuelle. You have to sift through reviews to realize that this historical place is in a great location and value. Coming from the wine business in California - it was a surreal and authentic experience."

"The hotel environment is very beautiful. First of all, the building itself is very tasteful. There is also a small vineyard, and there are many fruits planted. My daughter and her fascination pick the raspberries, and the taste is also very good. The dining environment of the restaurant is also very romantic. Looking at the large vineyards and the church not far away, the heart is very pleasant. A 5-minute walk to the town centre, a great walk to the surrounding fields. The fly in the ointment is that the hardware is a bit old, but there is no need to ask for so much in a small village like Morsso."
"Very good hotel. Excellent location. The room is a bit spartan. Price is too high."

"This property has it all: location, charm, excellent service & incredible hospitality. The six of us arrived at the train station with our luggage, in a downpour. Called the hotel and the owner, Edgar, was at the station to pick us up in minutes. As soon as we were in the car, he gave us a personal tour of Beaune, the surrounding villages and wineries, and how he came be the proprietor of Le Central Hotel that would continue until our departure two days later. The warmth and friendliness that Edgar and his staff exhibited was second to none. We met and drank wine with many of his local friends and colleagues who were constantly coming to the hotel to visit. Just an incredibly friendly and welcoming environment. We wanted to tour some wineries, and Edgar set up an amazing visit at the family run Dujardin winery in Monthelie and actually accompanied us. The hotel itself has been extensively renovated and boast a very modern interior but maintaining the charm and original exterior of this very old building. The rooms are spacious, clean and well laid out. Our room looked out over a beautiful inner courtyard and the hotel staff kept the place spotless. Edgar's restaurant, Gaspard, is next door and the food was amazing. If you want an authentic stay at locally owned establishment with a friendly and welcoming host, this is the spot!"
"I stayed here with my whole family - my dad, dad's girlfriend, grandfather, my sisters, and myself - and we're all American. As you can imagine, we can be a loud, difficult-to-please bunch, and people in a quiet, small French town such as Beaune might not be used to accommodating groups like us. However, Edgar, the owner of Le Central, was absolutely amazing and had it down pat. He was extremely helpful, kind, and personal - everything a hotel owner should be. This hotel deserves five stars for the hospitality alone, but it's also a beautiful property in a great location. The room's are clean and pretty, and it's only a few steps away from the center of town and the Hospital of Beaune, arguably the town's main historical attraction. I highly recommend this place for any type of traveler."
"We absolutely loved staying here - was such a nice surprise after a long days drive. After walking in without a reservation, but having seen them online, we felt welcomed immediately. The staff was very accommodating to our family, 2 adults and 2 toddlers and found a room that met our needs perfectly. They had a 'chill room' upstairs with books, games and a retro Pacman. They also offered fresh bottles of sparkling and still water to take up to the room with you. Unfortunately we arrived on a night the restaurant was not open, but we would have loved to eat there. Highly recommend. "

"You can bring your children and you can cook and eat. The transportation is convenient. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby. I didn’t eat breakfast. I’m sorry I can’t comment, but I can take the tram to Carrefour to buy food. The hotel is heated."
