"Me and 204 clients and about 50 staff persons was at the March on hills. We stay in 6 different hotels and this was only one which was really European level. They have good food and completely Fine dining at dinner. Almost every hotel at the area try to looks like fine dining but it is really funny looking in Orso Grigio you can be sure you get what is worth of money. Restaurant food and wine price level is really well corrected I would say it eaven cheap compare to the service level. Rooms are wonderful, big and good organised. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location was brilliant and what for Europeans more important you can feel yourself comfortable in all situations, because every hotel have some strange, for I think many peoples, rules like food ordering day before, paying in one place and grabbing ordered in another and etc. Best part of hotel is staff and owner, they are simply BEST. After week in Italy about 12-15 different restaurants, restaurant of Orso Grigio is second best experience in Italy. I got wonderful time Thank You Orso!!!! "
"Rooms are fantastic! Of course, we've only seen our room, but the picture on the web site corresponded exactly to what the room is like, thus you can trust them: wysiwyg for sure! The location is great as well, right in the heart of Cavalese. From here you can reach everything in town on foot: sights, activities, most restaurants, and more... Breakfast is very good, with local products and a good variety. Eggs options are being served on request so is lactose-free milk or soy-milk. We had dinner here once as well and the food was very good. It is a family run business and everybody in the house is extremely professional, helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the area. Some have commented that there aren't many parking spaces: on one side this is true for right in front of the door - where you can always park shortly for loading/unloading, however there are plenty of parking options scattered across town and a short walk would take you back to the hotel. The spa area is not very big but has all you need with different saunas and a whirlpool."
"This was a great hotel because; 1. Very modern and well appointed rooms with lovely comfortable beds. 2. Super helpful and friendly staff who advised about places to eat other than the hotel and areas of interest ( they recommended a lovely forest walk ). Also there was no issue in giving us access to our room before the official check in time. 3. Very nice breakfasts 4. The staff told us where to park for free 5. The hotel was in a great location. 6. Reasonably priced. We didn’t ski, but if you did the lifts are very close. Cavalese is a lovely town, definitely worth a visit and this is a great place to stay at."

"I was very surprised with the quality of the service a Pfoesl Hotel, It was my first time in the Dolomites so i've looked for a nice hotel. But we discover a wonderful place !! The staff is always at your service, the hotel has a lot of activities to do (walking tours, bike tours, cook lessons, yoga, etc,) and a nice place to relax in it spa. The food is amazing, you have dinners with 5 course menu changed every day in 3 choices of vegetarian, light or regional. All of this surrounded of a beautiful spot of the Dolomites. We will be back soon."
"Pros: delicious and high selection of dishes at dinner. All perfectly presented and tasted. Spa with various opportunities, clean and cozy. Indisputable amazing Dolomites view from all room.Shuttle service free hugely appreciated. Staff at reception and table service extremely helpful and kind. Againsts: Afternoon break reasonable. Standard plus room not worth the price, very small bathroom, minimal items , shower and dustbin suitable for two star Garni. Hand soap dispenser empty , (not refilled in two day). Maybe the most negative aspect was the absurdity of charging 5 euros for natural tap water at the table. That 's spoils a little the overall good impression we had. As to breakfast, we visited many similar class hotel in the area and we can assure is absolutely in the average. B "
"This Hotel is to be recommended because of the wonderful location with stunning view over the Dolomites mountains and because of the kindness of the staff and owners. The rooms are spacious and accurately cleaned. The outside swimming pool and the Spa are the jewels of the structure. Food with local recipes mixed with an absolute haute cuisine touch render everything delicious."

Weinstrasse 30, Caldaro, Trentino Alto Adige, Italy
"One of the best hotels I've stayed at in Europe. Everything is truly first class. The South Tirol region is very scenic and so I highly recommend a room with a balcony. We enjoyed sitting every morning and evening and just 'chilling' with our coffee or wine. The rooms are very modern, with modern appliances. The 3 course dinner is close to Michelin star rating, with very innovative entrees, fresh regional ingredients, and great service by the staff. Everything is taken care of at this hotel. They have a kids club, with a staff member who organizes activities twice a day. The pool and spa area (they have both indoor and outdoor) are great and has something for everyone. There is a lot to do outside the hotel in South Tirol, whether its shopping, wine tasting (fantastic wines), hiking, or just relaxing at the Kalterer See lake, which the hotel has a private access area with food & drink service, boat rentals (paddle & pedal), and nice lounge chairs. Overall a very special place where you can truly relax and enjoy your vacation. I will definitely come back!"
"We had a fantastic stay at Seeleiten. At this hotel, they have such a good eye for details. Pro’s: beautiful room and we were VERY pleased with the upgrade, nice toiletries in large sizes, the food was really good and we also enjoyed the lunch in case we were in the hotel. The food was always fresh and not too fat. Nice surprises during the diner: sometimes live music or a local cheese buffet in the evening. We LOVED the location so close to the lake. We hiked, mountainbiked (also great that rental prices for e-mtb were very friendly), use the sup board at the little Seeleiten paradise at the lake. We went to some wineries and just enjoyed the view. The only small cons we can come up with is the very tight and busy parking space and that the pool in the garden is smaller then the pictures suggest. But.. We will definitely come back! At last compliments to the staff who were all very friendly and helpful also during these crazy corona times."
"Nice and friendly with a wonderful garden to enjoy easy life. Food is good and staff is professional and friendly. Well, South Tyrol is known for high quality hospitality and the Seeleiten certainly fits in. Rooms are new and offer everything you need to enjoy vacation. The really special feature of the hotel is the wonderful garden with a creative landscape around the outside pool (there is also a inside pool). There are different parts of the garden, designed in different ways. Well done! A short 10 minutes walk brings you to the private beach at the Kalterer See. This is very useful as the public beach seems to be really crowded indeed. An additional part of the restaurant, serving special meals (separately priced) beyond the solid "all-in" meals would be a great experience on some evenings."

"Surrounded by the mountains, Hotel Salvanel is 50 metres from the bus stop linking to Cermis and its ski slopes. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout, a typical restaurant, and cosy mountain-style bedrooms. The rooms are fitted with wooden furnishings and parquet floors. Each is provided with a satellite TV, mountain views, and an en suite bathroom. Some have a balcony. A rich buffet-style breakfast is provided daily. It includes sweet and savoury products together with hot drinks. The restaurant specialises in typical regional cuisine. Bolzano is a 1-hour drive from the hotel. The woods are just 500 metres away."

"We were so pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Hotel Magdalener. The staff was very professional and helpful. The quality of the rooms and amenities was SUPERB. Everything was clean and in good condition. The location was good for us. But we had a car, so keep that in mind. The restaurant was packed when we arrived on a Sunday night, but unfortunately, their rest day was the following night and we were unable to see what the buzz was all about. Keep in mind that if you do stay here on a Monday, I highly recommend that you do NOT visit the restaurant across the street, Bistro Lampl, which deserves it's one two-star review. Get in your car and go somewhere else. We would gladly stay here again and again."
"This small hotel was great. We had a classic room which was huge by European standards. It had a balcony which looked out at the mountains and over the hotel's garden. The staff was very friendly. There was free parking beneath the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant was also very good. The restaurant had nice outdoor seating but since it was raining, we didn't get to enjoy it. It is an exceptional value for the room/amenities."
"Visited Bolzano in the end of June and spent two nights at this lovely hotel. Great room and breakfast, a very nice dinner out at the veranda with a view of the surroundings. Best of all was the magnificent pool out at the backyard were we spent two relaxing afternoons after a lot of walking in the mountains:-) Extra cred to the staff that gave us a lot of tips what to do and see. I would highly recommend you to stay here! "

Piazza Walther, Bolzano, Trentino Alto Adige, Italy
"We are a family of 3 adults and booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. It was so special to stay at this hotel - perfectly located on the square and an easy walk with luggage from the station. The rooms are generously sized with large comfortable beds and pillows, a small sofa and arm chair, big tasteful bathrooms and loads of space. Just the hotel for a bit of relaxation. I can’t fault the rooms, the decor and the space. Staff at the desk were very helpful with check in, advice on local buses and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast room is an absolute delight and again the staff are quietly efficient and helpful. The hotel manager stopped by for a very friendly chat. Bolzano is beautiful and this hotel, in our view, is the only place to stay. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Greif for a very special few days. "
"The hotel is modern, clean and in a very good location on Walther Square, close to the train station and to the bustling part of town. The hotel also provides a very breakfast. The problem is that during our stay (in early October), there was major construction/excavation going in in Walther Square so that that area was quite ugly and unpleasant. Also, we had booked and paid for a room with a view of the mountains but we were not given that category of room. We were given a room with a view of the commercial building next door and which was directly across the breakfast room which was loud in the early morning. When we complained, the night manager said that the hotel was fully booked and that there’s was nothing that could be done with situation. The person who had checked in never told us that we were getting a room different than what our booking confirmation described and she had already left for the evening. So, despite paying for a room with a view of the Dolomite mountains, we were given a room with no view and across from the noisy breakfast room. For 220 euros, it was not a good experience for us."
"Great hotel and service. The rooms are different from each other and details call your attention all the time. Art is around you in the hotel and outside you're in the city's core. The breakfast is quite nice and I would recommend you tasting all the regional cheese available. It's quite nice for couples. Staff is friendly and competent. It's my second time in the place in the last 2 years and I will return in 2020 for a weekend with my wife. Hope you enjoy!"

"I had booked other apartments in Bolzano which were utterly disgusting when I arrived so I grabbed my bag and searched for another place. The young receptionist at Figl was friendly, charming, very helpful and efficient and gave me a single room. The big room was spotlessly clean and had a tv, fridge, wardrobe unlike my previous place. It was quiet, great comfy bed, fabulous shower and breakfast was amazing. Fresh fruit, juices, coffee from the bar, jams in large jars which were probably from a nearby orchard, muesli and other cereals, soya/oat milk, meats, cheese, boiled eggs, delicious variety of breads, pumpernickel was my favourite and cakes....strudel ... almost as good as my Mums which I ate every morning. It was the perfect breakfast before my mountain walks everyday. Lovely, friendly staff who speak everything....Italian, German, English and probably more. Right behind Waltherplatz it has the perfect location. Loved it !"
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Figl and would recommend it enthusiastically to anyone traveling to Bolzano. The location is extremely convenient to everything. We walked all over town and over to the funicular to go up into the mountains. The rooms are modern, very comfortable, QUIET (yes!), and absolutely spotless as noted by other reviewers. But, the most impressive part of all was the kind and thoughtful staff. My husband fell ill with a respiratory infection when we were in Bolazano. The manager not only found us an excellent doctor nearby who spoke English, and even offered to take us there to make sure we didn't get lost! We felt so fortunate to have someone so very kind to help us out in this situation. We loved this place, and you will, too."
"This is a great hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are immaculately clean. Next time i return to Bolzano, I will stay here again. The breakfast is very good. All the standard options such as bread, meats, cheese, fruits, yoghurt, cereal and tea and coffee, to name a few. Very good free WiFi. Great garden lounge in the small courtyard at the front of the hotel facing the square too. "
