The hotel is very good, the first time I booked the suite is good, the second time because I did not book a business room, I found that the business room orientation is the front of the hotel, the standard room orientation is close to the high speed on the back of the hotel, but the sound insulation is not too noisy, hotel parking If the indoors are 20 euros, the open-air gate is 10 euros, and there is a parking lot next to the hotel's open-air parking lot. It is 7 euros, but this parking seems to be unattended. The first afternoon to go there, I did not see the management staff. A cabin was closed. After checking out the next morning, I saw that someone was waiting to collect the money. It felt like it was cheap but not safe.

We had recently booked a room at the Hotel Dortmund; the location is perfect for a visit (also walking) to the Dortmunder Stadium or the city centre. The hotel is located in the very quiet area of the technology center and far from noisy transit routes. The nights were very pleasant and relaxing. Because we are in the zoliakie area, our choice fell on this hotel – because we had a very nice e-mail traffic with competent contacts who knew well about this topic and the possibility of a gluten-free stay promised. Prima hotel, kamers zijn schoon en netjes. Alles zag er redelijk nieuw uit. Bedden lagen lekker en op loopafstand van Westfalenhallen! Alleen hadden we gezocht op een hotel met laadpaal. Dit bleek niet het geval te zijn. Er zijn gewone stopcontacten beschikbaar op de parkeerplaats, maar 1 daarvan was bezet en geen enkele parkeerplaats was beschikbaar die bij het stopcontact kon. In de buurt van het hotel zijn bijna geen laadpalen te vinden en in Duitsland zijn die parkeerplaatsen blijkbaar niet alleen voor elektrische auto‘S bedoeld. Op de terugweg naar huis maar een snellader langs de snelweg op moeten zoeken.

I was a guest at the German Comic Con Limited Edition event at Westfallenhalle. The hotel is perfectly placed for the Centre as it is just a short walk away. I stayed in room 411 for two nights The room overlooks a busy road so you get the noise of traffic only when you open the window. The room was super clean and comfortable The air conditioning which was much needed during the heatwave was very effective - I had to turn it off! The bathroom is well lit with a walk in shower. In the morning there was an extensive breakfast buffet with a variety of cheeses, yoghurt, fresh fruit and a hot plate with bacon and eggs ..

This hotel charged me 600 euro a night. There must have been something on in Dortmund for anyone to pay this as it’s more like a backpackers than a hotel. I arrived at 11pm. My stay was prepaid in full by my corporate travel agent. They said they had no rooms and that I would have to wait and they would take me to another property somewhere in the city. I was very upset and refused to move and finally they “found” a room. At this point it was almost midnight. I asked could I order a beer to take to my room. The answer was no but I could go to another hotel nearby where there was a bar. 600 euros a night. I then got to my room which was fine and clean if basic. There were only European sockets. I have sleep apnea and need a cpap device and an adapter for a Uk plug. Every Marriot I have ever been to has the universal plugs (at least one or two in each room). This place has none. Just basic German sockets. I called down and said do you have an adapter I will even buy one of you sell them. I will even pay for someone to go and get one. I was told, no we don’t and we don’t have a conceirge or anyone like that and we won’t help. Even if it means you die. True Marriot hospitality. So I guess anyone without their own adapter is out of luck at this “hotel”. I then tried the internet. Out of luck there too, internet shows up but doesn’t connect or work. I called the front desk. It just rings out. Over and over. No one answers or bothers. This is the single worst experience I have ever had at a hotel at the price point or at any Marriot worldwide, and I have stayed in many of them over many years. This place should lose its accreditation and the management ought to be replaced. Do not stay here unless you get a room for 50 euro a night, maybe 75, which is all it’s worth it’s basically a nice backpackers just off a freeway. If Marriot sees this can someone please contact me as this hotel caused me health issues and was a disgrace to your brand.
