"I have been meaning to book a stay at Dionysos for a while and in fact once I stayed in July I loved it so much that returned soon to stay longer in August... Firstly, this place is maybe hard to get to due to the location and windy roads but once you arrive it’s absolutely worth every minute of the journey because the view & nature of the canyon surrounding Dionysos leaves you breathless! Countless different types of trees and Mediterranean plants welcome you first. The way how hotel is configured makes you feel like you stay at your private home and not in a hotel as there are individual entrances with patio & chairs for privacy (be aware of stairs though) Rooms are beautifully decorated with genuine antique pieces, lovely view and everything is very comfortable, clean, following the necessary COVID-19 standards. Secondly, one of the special points about Dionysos is that all ingredients they use in the kitchen are sourced locally, organic, mainly from the farm up the road and everything tastes amazing and very fresh. You can actually visit the farm, and have candlelight dinner afterwards which we loved. They also make delicious and proper olive oil on site (you’ll see the olive trees everywhere) that you can buy as a souvenir before leaving. Food was excellent at all times and the menu is sophisticated with great selection of wines matched. Once you wake up to the most beautiful sun rise (definitely not to miss!) there are many activities available in the hotel to keep your day busy (tennis, mini golf, life size chessboard, pool table, gym, spa, meditation & yoga area, lounge room) or you can chill out by the lovely pool, gazing through the amazing sun & landscape. Spa treatments were great value and professionally done so highly recommend it. We opted for sea on some days and went to the beach club by shuttle service which was quick and convenient. We also really enjoyed the boutique boat trip organised by the hotel with limited number of people and discovered turquoise & deep blue bays nearby. If you’ve got a car it’s worth visiting nearby towns of Marmaris or for adventure lovers ancient walking paths are available to take you to the old ruins of Amos or nearby villages. Lastly, I’d like to highlight the hospitality being shown by owner Ahmet Senol himself and his wife as well as the immediate staff, such as manager Hulya Tamsen and her team, was beyond expectations. They are all very professional, positive and do everything with style, passion and respect to customers. We were looked after really well and left very happy on both stays, therefore certainly planning to go back again, recommending Dionysos to other family & friends too."
"Dionysos Hotel was a perfect retreat for our recent summer holiday. It offers peace and tranquility plus an amazing view, particularly from the infinity pool. We booked a self-catering cottage and a hotel room - both stylishly appointed and spotlessly clean. The self-catering cottage had enough equipment to make a simple meal, a large fridge and a Nespresso machine but the food in the restaurant was so good that we didn't cook much! Service was outstanding, right from being met in the car park and taken for a welcome drink to sorting out any issues immediately (and I mean within 5 minutes of contacting them). Other facilities that we enjoyed at the hotel included massages, a gym, a tennis court and a pool table which meant that everyone in our family was kept happy! We had our own car but the hotel shuttle bus means that this isn't necessary. To be honest, we didn't venture out much - it was too nice just to stay by the pool or in the restaurant and enjoy that view!"
"We stayed in 2011, with two rampaging kids and returned ,last week, just the two of us. This is a really special place, Ahmet and his colleagues go out of their way to make the perfect stay. The food is excellent and the service friendly and efficient. The hotel and location are super peaceful, so don’t expect loud music and dancing late into the night (although the live music and buffet evening is a must!). This is a place to arrive and immediately relax. The Kumlubuk Yacht Club is certainly worth a visit if you want sand(stones) between your toes. it’s only a few minutes shuttle bus away and has a nice restaurant. Thank you Ahmet and everyone for making our stay, once again, truly memorable."
