Hoogveldseweg 1, Mill, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands
"Situated in a small authentic dutch town. Suite in cockpit of an old plane in front of the hotel. Spa complex masked as a ship. Spacious rooms, esp. 2nd floor, clean enough, good beds, bath. NO AIR CONDITIONER! The controls on the wall are fake. No glasses, cups, bottle opener, shoehorn in the room. Average breakfast. Coffee is outrageous - order from the bar can to rescue the breakfast. Indoor escape room, pool, sport. Outdoor mini golf. On-site restaurant "London Street" is a highlight Parking in front of the hotel - 5 EUR/night, or in a free parking 30 meters distance. Quiet and safe environment, 5 min walk to the hearth of the town with a church, 2 supermarkets and a few opportunities to eat. The staff is almost friendly, speaking many languages but not really care about the quality: left dirty cleaning towels in the room upon our arrival, wrong TV remote control in the room. So things to keep in mind - check the room on arrival - report to the staff any left objects - verify all the equipment in the room is working properly - ensure the door is closed leaving the room - the doors won't close itself - ask for the room on the 2nd floor, window towards hotel entry - you see also plane and ship in the morning, and do not hear lonely cars or cycles - visit Kraaijenbergse Plassen (lakes, swim beaches, water sport), Nijmegen (oldest dutch city), Venlo (city on the DE/NL border)"
"The Wellness Boat is an absolute highlight of the overnight stay at this resort hotel. One is really pampered in style at the Spa with multitude of saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, various jacuzzis, friendly & professional staff, outdoor & indoor relaxation areas. Be aware that the Spa usage is clothes free. On the other hand one is confused on the accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception, but once in the room, it gives one mixed feelings, not fresh, with a dark, very dark bathroom, little space around the bed, poor WiFi, over washed towels and long distance walk to the facilities, passing through corridors who smells old and need refurbishment. The hotel management has to consider to include coffee & tea maker in the room, including a mini bar with complimentary water. Basics. The breakfast buffet served in the main dining room, is limited in offer and the tables are not set up, feels like to eat in a dark unwelcome area. On a final note, include bathrobes and towels in the room as we booked on a hotel/spa package which includes Spa entry. "
"Pros: the room is really worth the price you're paying for. You have everything you need and more like full height mirror, tv, hairdryer and a place for you luggage. Parking onsite costs 5 euro. Even if you have to check-in late at the night, there is someone on the counter. Cons: we didn't take the breakfast because of its price. Two twin beds are pushed together and aren't comparable to a real double bed."
