It was my 2nd stay at this hotel in Quanzhou, the front house staff were amazing, especially a member of staff called Kyle. Thank you for the human connection. The rooms where nice and clean, I was also given the opportunity to enjoy a late checkout as my flight back to Shanghai was early evening. There is a shipping mail next door to the hotel, it’s perfect. The breakfast selection was good, lots of choices however I was not happy about being placed in a segregated corner in the restaurant on the 5th floor away from the local people because of not being local. For an international hotel I was highly disappointed by this kind of xenophobia treatment. I came across 2 managers at breakfast, 1 was a gentleman and very polite and the other named Jack, speaking in local dialect of which I can understand, thought I came in from Guangzhou, what made him think that?? I’ve lived in Shanghai for many years and from England, it was an automatic assumption that was very unprofessional. I had to tell the manager not to be scared of foreigners. Why should I have to say that in an international hotel. Apart from this bad review, maybe if I was another race, it would of been a smooth business stay at the intercontinental.

Great location to arrive with motorbike and then go over to QZ downtown with taxi. We got special bike parking, thanks to the team. Nice and clean room. A lot of families, so a bit noisy on the breakfast, but bearable. Only problem , it was very cold weekend and the whole lobby and breakfast room was not really heated well. But apart from that, a Hilton stay as you would expect.

Hotel location on the edge of West Street. It is very close to Kaiyuan Temple. It is within walking distance. West Street is very lively at night. There are also many snack restaurants and cafes. The hotel has a lot of parking spaces. There is no need to make an appointment in advance. The access control of the garage is a bit ineffective. When you check out early in the morning, you have scanned the code at the front desk to enter the license plate. Guo went back and forth several times. Finally, the security guard ran over to manually lift the pole. There was a oolong thing when I checked in. Because I booked two nights in advance three weeks in advance. As a result, I couldn't find the order at the front desk of the hotel. After the phone Ctrip, it was quickly processed. This should be praised. Finally, I found out. Chu. It was the hotel that accepted the reservation at the time that there was no handover. The hotel's service awareness should be improved.

The price increase is not too much for the National Day. The space is also large, it is more convenient to go to West Street and 𫊻 Yucun.

Excellent hotel. It gets everything right. Welcoming, easy check in, comfortable and spacious rooms, clean (which for a large hotel with such high occupancy is the clearest way to see that it is a very well managed hotel!) and a full, delicious breakfast buffet with healthy choices. I’ve stayed there several times and think there must be a new manager because the post Covid version is especially good. A shopping area adjacent to the hotel offers a good place to wander. I’m a Hilton Diamond member but chose to stay at the Wanda Vista when I’m in Quanzhou.
