Reviews From Real Travelers
We were mostly very pleased with our 7 night stay. From the moment we drove up we could tell this was a great properly. The gentlemen who helped us instilled the utmost confidence that our car would be taken care of property. Check-in went smoothly and baggage handling (by one of the men out front) also great. We had a lovely suite. We requested that the comforter be removed and replaced with blankets. The housekeeper came immediately and took care of this request. We were not pleased that robes and slippers were not provided and even more displeased that no turndown was available either. At $1,000 a night this should not happen. A bigger issue was the lack of proper housekeeping. I have never seen so much dust in a room. I put a pair of black slacks on the vanity stool and they were covered in thick dust. I then looked around and found almost every other surface was laden with dust as well. Although we had service every day, the drape was left hanging off the rod, shower and fixtures left uncleaned and drinking glasses were not replaced. A lamp that didn't work was ignored even though we put the plug up on the table to show them. The pillowcases were not tucked on the pillows correctly. With no pillow protectors you could see the not great looking pillows. Also, not happy with the large bottles of shampoo, body wash etc., they seem to have done away with the small bottles that are easier to use in the shower where there is limited space. Also, a card on the counter telling you these bottles are for use while you are at the hotel. I inquired at the front desk, they said they are $50.00 each if you remove them. They also said the small bottles are no longer available. After using them, I have to say they weren't that great. Additionally, a shaving shelf would be great in the shower for the ladies. At breakfast one morning I went to the front desk to tell them about the abundance of dust. A lovely manager, Michelle Thomas was very nice. She immediately comped one of our nights and said she would address this with housekeeping. This is a lovely hotel. Staff, valet, front desk, restaurant are very nice. We would not hesitate to stay there again. It's a shame to see it improperly cared for. I will review Turn restaurant separately. It was a highlight.

We went to a wedding there last night, 10/22 and the food was excellent, the place was spotless, the views were outstanding and the entire experience was terrific. I had the steak and it was perfect. Everyone raved about the food. The people serving us though made the night. It was first rate.

We stayed in the Club Floor, and really enjoyed the amenities and food. Anntoinette in the club floor lounge, was very kind, helpful, respectful and makes your breakfast time a real delight! Front desk staff is wonderful as well. Overall the hotel was very good, very convenient for those of us who come as patients at the Cleveland Clinic. I will come back to this hotel on my next visit to see my doctors! Thank you!

Very good hotel, the hotel is close to the Cleveland Museum of Art, convenient for children to visit, there is a parking lot, 10 cars for parking, the hotel brother stops 30 knives. To be honest, breakfast is more suitable for European and American guests, but the attitude of the waiter is super good, the younger brother at the front desk is also super handsome.

I was in shock there was no coffee maker in the room. When I asked for a coffee in the evening they replied “you can buy coffee tomorrow at 7am” I’m so baffled as to why this Marriott location doesn’t offer in room coffee maker. We stay at multiple locations around the world and this is a first. Convenient location for a show Parking valet was easy if you eat at restaurant there they will validate but if your staying overnight dining on site doesn’t give you even a discount? The vault is lovely …great vibe and chill atmosphere Bartenders at ledger and vault were on point! Overall great stay

This is a very unique hotel. It was originally a bank and they kept many of the features. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. There is a huge gym for hotel standards. The restaurant looked very nice but did not have time to eat there. The Vault bar was awesome. Several old safes were converted to lounge areas. Room service was good (fries and pizzas). Parking was $42 dollars for the night, but took the stress out of trying to find somewhere to park. It is very close (walking distance) the baseball stadium and basketball arena. Would definitely stay here again.

Meredith atr the front desk tracked down my phone charger which I had left at the hotel on May 7th. Meredith gave credit to housekeeping, but I truly believe that Meredith is responsible for helping me after I left and called her from Florida on the evening of May 7th. She is outstanding and a credit to the Intercontinental Suites . She is going to keep the phone charger in her locker until I return to the Intercontinental Suites in three to four months for a follow-up appointment at the Cleveland Clinic. Please give Meredith a big gold star for helping the customer the way she did. John J Huber

The degree of hygiene needs to be improved, although the breakfast variety is not too much, it can fully meet the demand. Valet parking service is also ok, 19-knife one-day parking fee, tipping in the morning when picking up the car, it is quite convenient. The suite is large and the service response is slow. There is a fitness center and there is no swimming pool.

The hotel on campus is great. Twin room, large and clean, suitable for children, no extra bed. Starbucks coffee and breakfast on the first floor are very convenient. The nearby museum is well worth seeing, walking on foot, the campus is beautiful, and there is time to listen to the concert.

The hotel is in the university area, near the university hospital and the main high-tech street. There are many foods on the street. The front desk service is good, there is a shuttle bus to nearby Mall, and will stay again next time.

Overall a wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was soft and wonderful and the shower was above expectation. The only negative of the stay was the check in process. I arrived about 45 minutes early and had called ahead about an early check in. I was told to go to the desk when I arrived and they would check to see if a room was available. The woman working check in was extremely rude not only to me but to others in line as well. She refused to see if rooms were ready for people arriving and just told them check in wasn’t until 4 and they had to come back. She told me I didn’t have a reservation and made me search frantically for my reservation which she did end up finding. She blatantly ignored peoples questions by just looking away and not answering them. As the first point of contact for guests this was a major negative. Other than her, everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and welcoming. My only recommendation would be to have breakfast available before 7am since many people have to leave early for appointments and therefore don’t get to eat.

Stayed for 5 nights on a business trip and was my second stay at the property. Very positive experience, spacious rooms, great location and an excellent morning breakfast offering. Very responsive Front Desk Manager - Mr Wayne who managed room check in requests very well. Recommend the property for business or family travel to Cleveland Clinic.

This is a peculiar hotel. I have experienced the most special one in the Hyatt Hotel. After arriving at night, I entered a shopping mall after closing the store, which is a bit dreamy. I am very impressed and the location is very good.

The location of the hotel is good. The lobby is gorgeous. But the room view is not good 👎 the hotel in downtown Cleveland is really at the bottom. Compared with other houses, the front desk is not generous enough, even the bottle of water is $4 per bottle. The room facilities are modern.

Transformational customer experience every time my accommodations are at this wonderful hotel. Beautiful building located in the heart of Cleveland. Transportation to/from airport via RTD without touching the street using Tower City stop. Rooms are different sizes depending on your booking. Beautiful lobby but the BEST part of this hotel specially if you belong to their loyalty program Is the way they make you feel Location location location Add Best Guest relations Equals Happy traveler

This hotel must have been beautiful at one time. The bones are great, the rooms are well sized, and the lobby and bar must have been magnificent. Fortunately (or unfortunately) we checked in post theater at 10pm so our room was dark when we got there. When we woke up in the light of the morning, we were dismayed and a little grossed out. The room was dirty, the bathroom was tired, the water came out rusty and we couldn't wait to get out of there! To be specific, the lamp & furniture was covered in dust, the curtain had a blood stain, the carpeting was rippling, the bathroom tile was disgusting and there was a white drip mark (ewwww) on the nightstand. We booked this hotel because the Marriott agent recommended it when our preferred hotel was full. We immediately called Marriott and told them they needed to rebook us elsewhere for our second night which they did. Please chose a different hotel.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Although listed as a Marriot Property, it is not managed or maintained by the Marriott corporation (and it really reflects this issue!). I have continuously stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years and have watched it substantially decline. I am a Marriott Silver Elite member and have liked the convenience of being able to access my car versus the Marriott Courtyard a few blocks away. I have always wondered why this Marriott was not up to standards in terms of mechanical issues (on two occasions-no working a.c. in the room (this week I had to move rooms at 11 p.m. at night); poorly stocked kitchen, paper, towels and even missing the coffee basket this time). I asked, dropped lists, and never received them. During this particular stay, my first room had one bed that had a lot of hair on the inside of the sheets and pillow. It made me question if the bed had just been made, not changed. The food has always been minimal and you really need to bring your own. I am not even picky, but it is ridiculous. Well, after tolerating continuously barking dogs and people fighting in the room next door at 1:45 a.m.-none of which is the hotel's fault, I arrived home to 2 angry phone messages that I had not checked out and the hotel was booked, etc. etc. and the second individual was extremely nasty. Well, the paper bill I received at checkout clearly recorded the time at 7:48 a.m. -so what is your issue? When I called today to make sure we were all set with this issue, the gentleman was extremely indifferent, bordering on rude. Most of the staff act this way-as if the occupants are ”pains in the butt”-very unprofessional and it makes you afraid to ask for anything. I am really not confident they know what they are doing technologically. It makes you feel terrible and scratching your head if you have stayed at a real Marriot (at any level) . On the ”plus” side, the rooms are spacious, and the location to some very good restaurants outside the door, CWRU, the medical centers and the museum area is outstanding. One manager, the night I had to move went way out of the way to move me and make sure the next room was cooled down and ready with the lights on-and I didn't even ask to move. He was the only good experience in this last stay. The Marriott Corporation needs to intervene or remove the company's association.

The hotel is new and clean, with a full kitchen, simple breakfast, spacious rooms and a reasonable layout. Opposite the hotel is the Rite Aid pharmacy, which contains daily necessities, except for fresh fruits and vegetables, which is very convenient. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the Cleveland Clinic and the Cleveland Art Museum, and the location is excellent. Next to the art gallery is a small lake with a beautiful environment. 10 minutes by car, there are large American Super League David and Asian Super Super League Ding Hao
